Everyone was happy about the reopening of the garden and with the garden/park being opened daily, they were even happier.
Alayna wanted the book launch of rita’s book to be dealt with seriously but firstly, the book needed to be out there first. At least having people who have read the story co and attend the book launch will make things simple for rita.
Alayna didn’t rest for a long ti before she pushed forward this crazy idea of hers.
Elena didn’t expect Alayna to suddenly do this. Looking at the beautiful book, Elena beca the first buyer and left Alayna’s villa with a copy that she read that whole night.
When she went to work the next day, her eyes were bloodshot. After being left hanging, she wasn’t in a good mood but thinking of how many victims will join her, she was jovial all of a sudden.
Alayna sent 110 copies the next day to the shop, each till having 10 copies and each copy was being sold at a reasonable price.
[Umm, what kind of a book is this?]

[Can I have one?]
It was like this at every single till and because the book was affordable, the copies were all bought on the sa day especially after seeing rita’s cute face at the back of the book.
[OMG! You are telling that rita wrote a book and all copies were sold on the first day? Why are you telling just now?]
[Is it possible to get more copies?]
[I didn’t think that rita was this capable.]
[Can soone lend a book?]
[I need to read it a few tis before lending it and I won’t lend it for free.]
When Alayna saw how eager people were when buy the books, she was so happy that she teared up.
rita had no idea of what was happening, it was only on the next day when she saw how people were looking at her that she sensed that sothing was wrong.
[Ohh, Lady rita, why didn’t you tell us that you were this good?]
[Yes, yes, you should have told us.]
[You have beco very famous. Can I have your signature?]
rita wondered what was going on, that was until she saw so of the people holding so books. When one person handed over the book for a signature, she froze upon seeing that the book was hers.
"This…."
rita was too shaken that she didn’t have any energy to sign anything, ’I need to find mom.’
That was her only thought after seeing all these books. Alayna was in her study busy making a schedule for the cinema. Since the books were being bought like this, there was no need for her to worry about anything.
Of course, she completely forgot about talking with rita and was only reminded about it when she saw a red-eyed rita in her study.
Worried that soone had bullied her child, she quickly rushed to the door and carried the little girl to the sofa.
"Baby, who made you cry? Tell mommy, I will bash that person for you!" Alayna was so angry the more she thought of soone bullying her child.
rita’s tears stopped upon hearing this, ’isn’t her mommy funny? Would she even bash herself?’
"Tell , I am here for you!" Alayna might not be strong and powerful like other people but she was confident enough to stand up for her children if they went through sothing tragic.
She wouldn’t even allow for sothing like that to happen at all in the first place, this was her fault.
rita seeing that sothing will happen and misunderstanding will grow if she doesn’t answer, finally answered, "Mommy, were you…. Did you print my book?"
Upon hearing this, Alayna was enlightened and a pink hue covered her cheeks. She coughed embarrassingly and looked at rita, "ummm, I was going to tell you about that but I guess I forgot about it. I wanted to surprise you and let everyone know how amazing my baby is. Now you don’t have to write for online readers only but you can let the whole Niafell bask in your glory."
Alayna was very serious when she said this and rita who had never thought this far suddenly felt teary and tears began streaming down her cheeks once again.
"Did I ….. did I do bad?" Alayna didn’t want to do anything that will make her babies sad and she felt that she may have hurt rita sohow.
rita shook her head vigorously and hugged Alayna, "thank you mom, for everything. I really love this surprise."
Alayna was relieved when she heard this, "I am glad then."
Neal and Olinda were outside and very worried about rita and Alayna, so when they overheard that everything was okay, they were also relieved and happy at the sa ti.
Olinda knew about the books but never thought that Alayna will go that far for rita, she felt very joyful and lucky that she was adopted by Alayna, otherwise, her life will be over by now.
Alayna took out three copies and gave them to the kids to read.
"Mom, this book is not complete. Where is the other one?" rita asked after looking at the last chapter of the book.
"I will have more copies made when your book is done publishing. Or you can just give the manuscript and I will have it done as soon as possible," Alayna’s eyes lit up as she thought of a good way to solve this problem soon.
"Sure, I will give it to you."
Alayna spends a long ti with the kids answering their questions. She even talked about the book launch with rita and in the end, they decided to hold a ceremony where rita will talk about her book and give autographs to people.
As the book was already launched, there was no need for a book launch anymore.
Alayna received a distress call from Elena and she knew that it was ti to send more books.
Alayna decided to let rita participate in the selling of the books, so she prepared a table for her outside under a tent. Olinda and Neal also joined in and 1,000 copies were taken out this ti.
Hearing that more copies had been taken out, the tent was filled with people who ca to buy, and being able to participate in sothing like this as the author of the book, rita was filled with happiness.
This mont was beautifully captured by Alayna who used the drone to record everything.
With rita personally in charge of selling her own books, Alayna had ti to herself once again.
As she was interrupted while in the middle of planning a movie schedule, she resud from where she left off.
’Cinemas are usually open every day and I can’t afford sothing like that. People need to work and I need to consider that. Which is why I will open the cinema five days every week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.’
’During weekdays, the cinema will be open in the afternoon for only three hours, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. And weekends, the cinema will open from 8 a.m. until 12 midnight.’
’I will air one movie during the weekdays and four to five during weekends, depending on which type of movies that I find. The dark ones should be for the night while I need to accommodate children and the elderly, so the morning and afternoon movies need to be friendly.’
Alayna knew that she was going to be busy but she didn’t mind. As long as all the plans are set into stone, all she needed was soone trustworthy who can then carry all of these plans out without her supervising the whole thing.
Alayna t with one photographer who was very good at his job and he t her standards. She decided to promote this young man and give him more responsibilities and he was very eager to learn.
So, Alayna began to teach the young man about movies and most importantly how to operate the projector and let people enjoy the movies. She also showed the young man who is called Daniel a self-explanatory video.
This made it easier for Alayna as Daniel can watch and learn for himself. It took a few days for Daniel to be proficient although he still needed more experience to really know what he is doing.
So far, he was good at making things possible and this is the only thing that Alayna wanted.
With Daniel’s training almost over, Alayna printed several posters and flyers for the cinema, detailing the days and the ti the cinema will be open and the location.
The movie tickets were all priced the sa 10 copper coins but the tickets will be limited, so first co first serve and anyone can buy a ticket for a future date.
When these posters were seen, everyone went crazy again. At least those that couldn’t afford to buy novels can at least watch a movie and spend so quality ti with family and friends.
