They were barely out of the house when father Wu did sothing he has never done to his daughter.

The man lifted his hands and slapped her so hard without rcy.
"You fool! Whom did you offend?!"
The slap was so hard that Diana lost her footing as she widened her eyes in shock.
"Daa...dad.. you slapped.. ?"
She stuttered in her speech as she spoke.
"I slapped you and I will slap you again! Look at what you have cost ! Iam sure you offended sobody else first!"
The man was so angry that one could see his vains popping from the side of his head.
"Husband.. you cannot hurt our..."
Mother Wu tried defending her daughter but her husband’s angry voice stopped her,
"If you had trained this useless daughter of yours my business would be alive and booming right now!"
He angrily spat as he got into his car and left the two won, in a daze.
Diana couldn’t believe that her father who spoiled her to no end slapped her today, for the first ti in her life.
She turned to her mother who was staring at her in a dissapointed manner,
"Whom did you offend my girl?"
Despite the fact that she loved her daughter, it just hit her that once their business is in shambles, she cannot enjoy the rights of a dignified lady in the high society.
How will she afford a luxurious life if their family business is not stable?
Diana looked at her mother with teary eyes,
"Mom... I.."
"Diana, you need to know that if you offended soone of great power our family business is going down the drain.."
Diana started thinking hard but suddenly Jane’s na appeared in her head.
"Jane Lu...." She whispered the na but her mother heard it and scread in shock.
"Diana Wu! Do you know the kind of havoc that lady can cause? To make matters worse, she is rumoured to be dating Liam Yang! Are you stupid or what?!"
The woman couldn’t keep cool hearing Jane’s na being involved. Just a snap and she can easily ruin them!
Diana couldn’t say a thing but on hearing Liam’s na, her face paled in shock..
"I did..didn’t know... mom.. if I ask for... forgiveness... I just wanted to teach her a lesson for offending brother..."
"Just shut up and find a way to apologize to Miss Lu before our family goes down the drain."
Knowing her daughter had offended Jane, she had to be strict on her to apologize before their company got ruined.
She did not even look back and left Diana standing outside the Chen mansion by herself.
By now, Diana started having recollections of that party and realized that Jane might have known about her plan all along.
She gasped as she shook her head, ’I...I made a mistake but did she really notice? No.. no.. she can’t notice right...what if she did...?"
The girl was in a panic mode, if her parents feared Jane, she should be scared, afterall, she is the one who drugged her.
She paced up and down before she ca up with a solution,
"I will just ask for her forgiveness but Anna Lu..." Her eye sight fell on the mansion as she smirked before leaving.
Inside the mansion, the Chen couple was busy flattering Anna because of her pregnancy.
"We will have to hold an engagent for you two." Mother Chen said as she smiled widely.
Father Chen nodded as he added on to his wife’s words, "Make sure you invite the whole Lu family Anna. No mistakes."
The girl smiled as she nodded her head shyly, "Yes uncle."
Her reply satisfied the elders as they started discussing more about the coming baby.
After a long day at work, Jane got out of her private elevator and headed for the parking lot, only to et a dashing handso man leaning lazily against his car.
His top two buttons were undone and his shirt sleeves were rolled up revealing his strong arms and one could clearly see the many veins.
His concentration was on his phone but Jane’s voice brought him back.
"Liam?"
Liam looked up only to see Jane giving him a confused look. He imdiately put his phone in his pocket and approached her, pulling her in for a hug.
Jane did not resist the hug but she felt like his hugs keep on getting better every ti.
"I missed you baby girl.."
The man spoke as he inhaled her sweet vanilla scent.
Jane did not reply to his statent but the man quickly broke the hug after realizing the girl’s silence
"Uum.. I ca to invite you for a al, please.."
Her silence made Liam’s confidence go down that the man had to carefully ask for her permission.
Jane giggled surprising Liam,
"What’s with your little confidence mister Yang?"
She asked in an amused manner as she tried to suppress her laughter.
She was busy giggling but she did not notice how Liam was staring at her with dreamy eyes. Her giggles were like music to his ears.
He did not know what pushed him but he just pulled her into his arms once again and buried his face in the crook of her neck.
He cald himself and lifted his head looking into her eyes, "You love kidding that much baby..I’ll let you do it for the rest of our lives.."
His voice sounded a little hoarse but super attractive. The laughing Jane froze the mont she was pulled in his hands.
Still staring at her, his face started inching closer and in between, his eyesight fell on her lips before going back to her eyes.
When the tips of their noses were about to touch, Liam suddenly stopped as if he had rembered sothing.
He imdiately pulled back and gave an awkward cough.
"Sorry...I.."
