"Rose Lu, so explaining to do?"
Jane continued, not minding the glare being sent her way by Rose.
By now, Mary had been settled in between her grandparents as her grandma braided and played with her hair.
"So my own daughter has been dating without my knowledge... I see.." Rebecca’s voice echoed making Rose give a sheepish smile as she glared at Jane but the girl gave her that ’say it or I will’ look with her eyebrows raised.
"It is still too early to even introduce him to you people, we’ve only been dating for two weeks, that’s still a short period, right?"
She was expecting everyone to nod, agreeing to her statent but the elders gave her a look telling her that she has even delayed introducing him.
Grandpa Huang had a dissatisfied look on his face, "I just found my grand daughter and now so brat wants to steal her, humph!"
He looked back at Rose, but this ti he had an evil expression, "Bring him over, I want to see how worthy he is of my granddaughter."
Grandpa Lu,Ryan and Father Lu nodded with equal serious expression but the ladies wore bright and smiley faces especially Rebecca.
Rose sighed,nodding her head as she inwardly made a prayer on behalf of Jordan.
She was happy and worried at the sa ti. Happy because she really loved the man and him being introduced to the elders was like an approval for marriage.
She was worried because she feared her family might do sothing serious to the man she loves but little did she know that the man she was worried about was going to perform better than expected.
"Dad, now that you have found your family in country X, what do you plan to do?"
Rebecca’s question made the old man wear a serious expression as he sighed.
"My influence in both countries is just so powerful, I can either chose to take your mother back with or remain here but honestly, I do not want to go back there.. you are all here my darlings, we will miss you if we go back to Country B."
The man’s voice carried so pain and sadness as his wife nodded supporting him.
"The Huang mansion has no use for us my children. We want to hand over everything to you,we want to be near you and give you the love you have missed all these years. Even if it won’t match the amount of trouble you have gone through..."
Grandma Huang spoke as she looked at the four ladies, tenderness clearly visible in her eyes.
Grandma Lu who was finally quiet spoke up, "If you do not plan to head back to Country B, you can all stay with us for as long as you wish and besides, we can do alot of things together, we can be one big family and give these girls the best love there is."
Her husband imdiately nodded as the Huang couple widened their eyes in shock but Grandma Lu nodded, indicating she was okay with it.
Her eye sight fell on Nicole and Mary.
"From today my girls, this is your ho. After you finish your work, co back and let us share a happy al together."
The girls nodded their heads though for Mary all this was hard to believe! In just one day, she turned out to be a Huang and in just one day, she was about to live in the infamous Lu mansion!
Mrs Lu seed to be the happiest of all. Her ho was going to be super lively with all these people around. She could also use them to push her children to get spouses... Hehehe...
Since the elders seed to have a topic to discuss, the youngsters imdiately rushed to the kitchen, one by one as they went to check on the als and for people like Nicole and Mary, they were to bond.
Nicole felt a tap on her shoulder and looked over only to see Mary standing in a weird position as she seed to want to say sothing.
She lightly laughed.
"We always clicked as friends but who knew we were more than that Mary? She tried laughing but her laughter seed to be turning into chocking tears.
At the sa ti, Mary was staring at the girl before her as Jane’s statent of her being molested rang in her head.
She did not know what pushed her but she ended up pulling her sister for a tight hug, the exact sa ti Nicole was pulling her in for a hug.
"I never knew that I had a twin sowhere but now that I know, I will protect you with every single breath I take my dear sister, I won’t let any bastard harm you again. I am here...I will revenge for you, for us my sister."
Mary whispered as the hug got tighter but she did not realize that her eyes had turned red as she spoke and back to brown almost imdiately, but this small change was caught by Rebecca, who was heading for their direction.
The woman gasped, attracting the other people’s attention but quickly covered her mouth, giving them awkward smiles.
