Inside the penthouse, Rose looked at the two and rushed for her handbag, still trying to suppress her giggles.
"Hehe.. see you later girl.." She smiled at Jane and lightly patted Liam’s shoulder before rushing out of the house leaving just the two of them.
Liam looked at the girl standing opposite him and finally spoke up.
"I know you are thinking that I hugged you to save you from the situation you were in but that was not the case Jane."
She gave him a confused look but he continued speaking.
"I rushed to hug you because I should be hugging you and you look so damn sexy right now, I couldn’t let him continue feasting on your body. I am even sure I have a hard on right now."
He chuckled lightly but his voice didn’t sound normal.
Jane’s eyes widened in shock and she was about to rush and go change when an arm pulled her and she landed in his arms.
One of his hands was touching her bare waist making the girl feel like her body was on fire.
"Li...Liam.. you... I..." She was even stuttering, not knowing what to exactly say.
"Ssh..relax your mind first baby girl then talk to ."
The man brushed his fingers through her hair as he spoke.
"How sincere are you Liam? How sure are you that you will not change how you treat in the future?"
She finally relaxed and asked and as usual, she maintained eye contact with him.
He took her hand and placed it on her chest.
"You rember what I told you when we were in the elevator? I told you that this heart beats for you Jane. I can never mistreat you and even if I ever make you cry, feel free to beat up to your satisfaction."
He took her hand off and placed her head on his chest, just like he did last ti.
"I love placing your head here so that you can listen to my heart beat. It gets crazy when you are around, it gets excited Jane. You make happy that is why I imagine just us and nothing else."
"I told you I do not care how much the world has made you hate n or love, I care making you love , I care making you smile every single ti Jane. I want to show you off, I want to be under your rcies... I want you to call yours girl..."
The poor girl couldn’t take his words anymore and burst out crying, beating his chest as she spoke.
"Where the f*ck were you all that while when I was in a baseless relationship? Why didn’t you co when I wanted to be loved Liam? why?"
"Where were you when he was forcing to sleep with him Liam where were you...."
Liam could feel the pain in her voice that he felt like soone was stabbing him.
The girl in his hands was crying so hard that it pained him.
He changed the position of his hands, as the other one drew circles behind her neck, the other one brushed her hair soothingly as he whispered to her in a low soothing voice,
"I know it hurts babe.. I am here my queen, let it all out, I am listening.." He did not get to finish when she wrapped her arms tightly around him and buried her face deep into his chest, inhaling his minty cologne that seed to always calm her nerves.
She did not lift her head but kept crying prompting the man to lift her head up.
"I will take away every single pain Jane, I will make you smile every ti and make you feel glad for choosing . You are a wonderful woman my queen, he hurt you because he is a fool, he doesn’t know what treasure you are my love but I do, and I will prove that my woman is the best and she is the undisputed queen."
"Don’t shed no more tears for him Jane, okay?"
The girl who had stopped crying but her eyes puffy nodded her head as she listened to his words.
"You are so good Liam that I am afraid you are pulling in."
She spoke as she looked at him.
"Then don’t resist my advances Jane, let in.. "
He replied back looking at her.
"I am confused Liam...I am afraid that if I let you go I won’t be able to find soone like you Liam and at the sa ti, I do not want to say yes because I love your comfort, I want to say yes when I am sure I love you... I..."
She sounded confused and hurt at the sa ti making the man speak up imdiately ,
"Do not force yourself into sothing you are not comfortable with Jane, just take your ti ,I will always be here.."
He patted her head softly and pecked her cheeks.
"Do not stress yourself, open up to when you are sure about your feelings for , I know you don’t feel a thing for now but I know soday you will although right now.."
He caressed her cheeks, a sincere smile plastered on his face, "Right now I can confidently say I love you Jane..."
