By now the Jane was laughing at the girl whose face was beetroot red.
"So are you now a couple or what?"
She couldn’t help but ask Rose but her mind could think of Liam once in a while.
"Not until he gives a grand surprise.."
"Jordan is a good guy, don’t let him go." Jane replied looking at her.
"So is Liam Jane, you were drugged but the man never took advantage of you, you slept in the sa room but he didn’t harm you. Do you think such n exist everyday Jane? They don’t girl. Stop trying to resist him. Whether it is love at first sight or his advances, stop resisting him Jane.I know you...."
Jane looked at Rose who was speaking and finally spoke up.
"I am afraid Rose, what if all of this is too good to be true Rose? What if he will be good to for soti and then beco like other n?"
Indeed the girl sounded worried making Rose sigh.
"Look at Jane, I want you to have soone who will give you the love of a man, I want you to have your own beautiful family soday, I want you to have soone you can confide in... I will be right here to beat him black and blue if he sses up, okay girl, just let nature take it’s course and stop trying to shut down your feelings towards him."
She did not finish when Jane pounced on her and hugged her tight, "Thank you bestie... thank you."
"No need to thank girl, just get the latest handbag in the market... Hehehe..."
The two girls burst out laughing but Rose’s phone cut short their mont.
She looked at the caller and a small smile tugged the corner if her lips. She imdiately picked it up as Jane stood and left the place to give her so space.
"Hey babe, I had a script to practice and only seen the news now are you okay?"
Jordan sounded anxious on the other end as he asked making the girl feel warm and loved.
"I am okay Jordan, thanks for the concern."
"No need to thank baby girl, it’s my duty hun. I am only worried about who our CEO is... especially if he turns out to be a man lusting after my woman."
Jordan’s words made the girl laugh real hard trying to imagine Jane as a man but she tried reassuring the man that all is well.
They spoke for so ti before their conversation ended.
In the Chen mansion, things were not good as Edward and his parents were sitted wearing grave faces.
"What are going to do now son?"
Mother Chen asked anxiously looking at her husband and son who seed to have aged 10 tis faster.
Their company had just lost a very important bidding that even Edward was unable to prevent anything from happening.
"I don’t know mom, the people we were supposed to be working together with started backing out and before I knew it, the bidding went to so confectionery company."
"We can only overco if we have a giant company in the business world to cover us."
Mother Chen’s eyes imdiately lit up,
"Call that girlfriend of yours and have her use the Lu family influence to help you out!"
Father Chen, who was quiet finally spoke up, "If she cannot do anything then she is useless son! If our company continues like this, we will lose everything!"
Edward, who was aware of Anna’s current situation could not help but frown a little. The girl gave her good sex and that is all that matters to him but lately he started having so feelings for her, even though he knows he still wants Jane but to date, the man has not realized that what he has for Jane is nothing but obsession. He does not love her, he just wants to posses her.
He thought about Jane, maybe he can sweet talk her into helping his company and use his company to secure Anna’s position in the industry, afterall, she has not been getting any works... maybe if he shows the world he loves her, she will be respected and can get her footing once again.
He stood up and bid his parents goodbye,
"I will handle the situation mom and dad and also, stay away from the Wu family. We have enough problems to involve ourselves in their scandal."
His parents seriously nodded as they agreed with him and Edward left for Jane’s penthouse.
The man did not know that all the problems both he and Anna were facing was because of Liam.
