Liam was shocked by her actions but that was not the point right now, the point was that Jane did not say no to him or was yesterday a test for him? Were his actions yesterday a pass ticket to her heart?
Liam looked at the woman on the bed who was looking back at him. He scooped her from the bed and made her sit on his lap.
He carefully looked into her eyes,
"I am glad you are not resisting my advances Jane, you don’t know how happy I am right now. I promised to make you feel loved and I promised to pamper you endlessly and that is what I will exactly do."
He planted a kiss on her forehead as the girl closed her eyes reflexively.
Before Jane could reply, her cell phone rang and she stretched her body, moving a little bit on Liam’s laps, making the man groan.
His groan attracted her attention but the girl did not seem to bother. She took her phone and received the call.
"Jane! I am glad you are okay, forgive this useless bestfriend of yours, I t with Jordan Yang yesterday, I will tell you the rest of the story once I see you..."
She had to put her phone further as she listened to the girl endlessly talking.
"I am fine Rose and there is nothing to forgive you about..."
They spoke for so ti before she turned and looked at Liam who seed to be struggling with sothing.
"If I rember correctly, you have nothing underneath and trust if I tell you I can barely control myself, now that you are seated on my laps."
His words startled the girl who imdiately got off and buried herself in the comforter.
"Get your ass out Liam Yang before I throw you out of your own suite." The girl muttered underneath the comforter making Liam chuckle.
"I will take a bath and leave, as you wish milady. Do not forget to take your dicine too."
The man disappeared to the bathroom as Jane got out if the comforter and made a call to Nicole, for clothes, including undergarnts.
She took her dicine and started scrolling through her phone but what she saw about Diana shocked her.
Her eye sight imdiately landed on the bathroom door as a smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
She was still reading articles when the bathroom door opened and the man ca out in only a towel, hanging dangerously on his waist and another one drying his hair.
"Damn!" He looked so fine but she did not want to give him the impression that she might have started falling for him and looked back at her phone imdiately.
Liam saw through her small actions and smiled, he did not want to expose her though.
Since it was the weekend, both of them went back to their penthouses to rest as they prepared for the next week.
Throughout the day, Jane got alot of calls from her parents and brother and even Chloe who only relaxed once she told them she was okay.
In a building in the southern part of the country a man was seated on he chair as he listened to his assistant’s report.
"So Rick, your are telling that Nicole is my daughter and the other girl is sowhere in the country unknown?"
The assistant, Rick, nodded his head.
"Sir Daniel, Miss Emily’s death might have nothing to do with the influential families as John had earlier told us. In fact, I highly suspect that man."
Rick said making the man behind the table sigh.
"I want to find both of my daughter’s and the mystery behind their mother’s death before revealing myself to them, for now, I will just protect Nicole from the shadows."
The man stood up and looked at the remote area they were in as he spoke. He really wanted to hug his daughter’s and smile, laugh and talk with them but his current situation wasn’t allowing him.
"Emily..."
Tears left his eyes as he whispered the na.
