The box had mainly bullet back and toggle closure type. There were a total of six pairs, each made from a different type of material.
She took a careful look at them and in the end decided to purchase all of them. They were all so beautiful that she could not even decide.
It was expensive but she did not bother or even care. She took out her black card and paid off the bill. All she wanted was to thank Liam.
She got out of the mall, into her car and headed back for the penthouse.
When she arrived, She imdiately rang the doorbell to Liam’s house hoping he was still around and the man really didn’t go to the office today.
The door was opened and he stood there, in a pair of grey sweatpants and a vest. Looking hotter compared to when he dresses in suits.
Damn! He looked so fine with his ssed up hair but still cute that the girl zoned out once again.
Liam on the other hand looked at her with an amused expression because by now, he was already getting used to her zoning out. He snapped his fingers before bringing her out of her own world.
"Right, Mr Ya.. uum..Liam, this is a small gift to thank you for taking care of yesterday and for the wonderful al this morning." She said, smiling brightly ,handing him over the perfectly wrapped up box.
Liam stared at the box and imdiately picked it up before she changed her mind. This is a gift from wifey! She gave him a gift!
He smiled back happily thanking before she disappeared back into her own house.
Liam closed his door quickly and put his hands over his chest. His heart was beating real fast the mont he saw the gift box from her. He sat down on his sofa and carefully unwrapped the box.
He carefully and slowly opened it only to et six beautiful, expensive pairs of cuff links. He literally wanted to jump right now. To think the woman he fancies bought him six good pairs, all for him, he couldn’t help but wear a very big smile.
He imdiately took out his phone, took a perfect picture and went with it to the bedroom. He walked into his closet and carefully placed them next to his watch collection. The man kissed each and every pair smiling until he felt satisfied did he let them be.
Jane thought that she did this because she wanted to thank him but she did not know that a seed of love was sprouting deep down and no matter how much she will try to deny it, her heart will eventually fall for Liam complety.
In Chloe costics, Chloe was busy planning for her next launch when her cell phone beeped, indicating a ssage.
She picked it up absentmindedly but the content of the text ended up putting a smile on her face. ’I will be back in two days!’
She spent the rest of her day smiling but no one understood what exactly made her that happy.
The day ca to a peaceful end and for people like Jane and the rest of the Lu family, the weekend was here and they were about to start solving the mysteries surrounding Nicole.
