Jane got up and headed for her kitchen. She took a glass of water and ripped open the bag of dicine Liam gave her.
She took her dicine and heaved a sigh of relief but just then her phone rang. She imdiately picked it up seeing Ryan’s na.
"Good morning darling sister. Why did you not tell your brother you are unwell?" Ryan grumbled on the other end.
"Co on Ryan, it’s nothing much, I am pretty much better right now." The girl ekly said. She fears getting Ryan angry because not even their parents can control his anger.
"Pretty well my foot! Jane Lu! Dress up and get your ass in my hospital in the next one hour, no argunt young woman!" Ryan just had to shout for this stubborn girl to know he was damn serious.
Jane sighed. She knew it! "Fine brother, I will be there." She said as she hung up.
She stared at her glass of water for so minutes before picking her phone.
"Good morning Nicole. Reschedule all my etings and appointnts, I have so health matters to attend to. In case there is sothing that requires my attention, solve it on my behalf or send it to my e-mail if it is not up to your level." She said to the girl on the other end of the phone.
After she received a reply, she headed to get a shower and to get dressed.
Minutes later, the girl ca out dressed in a denim trouser, a cute white top and a denim jacket. She finished her look with a pair of white fashionable sneakers.
Her beautiful black hair was curled and her face was free from makeup, just so lip gloss and mascara.
She picked up her bag and keys but as she was opening her door she bumped into sothing or rather sobody’s chest to be precise.
Liam who was just about to ring her doorbell t with her figure, her face directly bumping into his chest. He chuckled seeing her face turning into a pout but then rembered she is not well, especially her head.
Reflexively, his hands reached out for either sides of her head and massaged it lightly, "I am sorry, I was about to ring the doorbell when you opened the door." He said as he continued massaging her head.
Jane on the other hand stiffened when she felt a pair of cool hands massaging her head. Unknowingly, she felt better with the massage.
She looked at his face as he spoke and all she could see is perfection. He has a beautiful pair of lips...His well defined cheekbones and perfect jawline.
As she continued looking at his facial features, she t his blue eyes that carried a touch of gentleness and if she is not wrong, she could see love in his eyes. Wait... love? ’Snap out of it Jane!’ She quickly regained her posture and took his hands off her head.
"I am not going to work Mr Yang, I just have to make a quick trip to my brother’s hospital.
Liam smiled and took out a necklace from his pocket. "You forgot this, I know you didn’t lie to when you said you wouldn’t go to work ,I have no need to doubt you."
He stared at her deeply, picking up her vanilla scent happily. She looks cute and slls sweet! He would want to hug her every single night.
Jane took the necklace and thanked him quickly as she sprinted past him but before she could go further, she heard his voice,
"Please stop calling Mr Yang, you make feel so old and besides, we are neighbours, not strangers Jane."
The girl stared at him blankly before nodding her head and rushing out quickly. He thought she was in a hurry but he didn’t realize her face was tinted with so blush simply because he called her first na!
