"Baby. This is mommy saying hi. I love you already, behave and be good for mommy, okay?"
Jane slowly spoke to be stomach as she gently rubbed it, trying to converse with the little bean in there, a gentle smile etched on her face as she picked up her phone and called her husband.
"Are you done with the eting and everything?"
"Yes, baby, I’m done. I’ll be ho in the next 30 minutes."
"Oh, Okay. I’ll be preparing and waiting for you then."
The couple had a tactic understanding that afternoon as Jane prepared waiting for Liam since they were going to visit the doctor so as to know how far she is into her pregnancy and of course to pick up her pregnancy nutrients and dicines.
"Oh, you’re glowing mami!"
Those were the first words Liam said the mont he saw her walking down the staircase, and the man couldn’t help but stand looking srized because she indeed was glowing. She just had so kind of glow and so charm at the mont that he really couldn’t wrap his arm around, but he is for sure that his woman is looking so beautiful and glowing at the sa ti.
Jane, who just got complented by her husband, imdiately flushed as the tips of her ears beca red, but deep down she was feeling so boastful as she giddily danced because who doesn’t like to be complinted, especially by the other by their other half?
"Oh, I think this pregnancy suits you a lot. Look at you. You’re so glowy and I think I need to hide you. Or maybe I should just call the doctor here..."
"Absolutely not Liam! We are going to the hospital now, co on let’s go, ohh and thank you for the complints."
Liam and Jane, alongside the doctor sat together in the small examination room, anxiously awaiting the news about Jane’s pregnancy. The doctor, a kind and experienced professional, began to speak, but Jane visibly winced because she feared being told that maybe the tests were not accurate.
"Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Yang. Based on your last nstrual period, you are seven weeks pregnant," the doctor said gently, observing their reactions. As a mother and grandmother, she could help but gently smile as she observed the powerful couple imdiately lt before each other, as their eyes blazed with absolute happiness.
Jane’s face lit up with a mix of excitent and worry, while Liam leaned forward, his eyebrows furrowed. "Seven weeks...hmm... with my calculations, it seed to be the night when..."
He didn’t get to finish his words before his mouth was forcefully covered by Jane’s hand as the other one smacked his head, the doctor forgotten about.
"Stop being a rouge and behave Liam."
"Don’t you let a single word slip out of that mouth else you are sleeping out-of the house for a week. Got it?"
"Yes ma’am."
Liam replied in a careful manner the mont he got told that he had chances of sleeping outside, making the doctor giggle because she didn’t know that even the most powerful animal just got tad with a few words. She gave the couple so ti to co out of their bubble, and when they did, she proceeded to speak.
The doctor nodded, understanding their emotions at the mont. "Yes, seven weeks. Shocking ,right? Now, let’s talk about a few important things. First and foremost, prenatal care is crucial during this period. I highly advise you to schedule regular check-ups and follow a healthy lifestyle."
Jane nodded as Liam started noting down everything because they can’t depend on her pregnancy brain moving forward.
Jane nodded eagerly, her ears fixed on the doctor’s words. "Absolutely, I want to do everything I can to ensure a healthy pregnancy."
Liam leaned back, crossing his arms as he didn’t even think for a mont before running his mouth.
"What about intimacy? Is it safe for us to be intimate during this ti?" he asked, causing Jane to shoot him a stern look, as she smacked him because she knew how forward he could be at tis, as she embarrassingly slid down the chair.
The doctor maintained her professional composure, understanding Liam’s concerns, but couldn’t help but inwardly laugh on seeing Jane’s reaction.
"It is generally safe to have sexual intercourse during pregnancy, as long as there are no complications or dical reasons advising otherwise. However, I recomnd discussing any concerns or questions about intimacy with or your wife’s gynecologist Mr Yang. It’s important to maintain open communication throughout this journey."
Jane held back a frustrated sigh, wishing Liam would choose a more appropriate ti and place for such discussions. She gently placed her hand on Liam’s arm, reminding him to be respectful but that arm ended up pinching his thighs very well, changing Liam’s facial expressions as he tried maintaining his cool but that pinch was really painful!!
The doctor continued, offering reassurance. "Rember, every pregnancy is unique, and your experience may differ from others. It’s important to prioritize Mrs Yang’s comfort and well-being. If at any point sothing doesn’t feel right, it’s crucial to consult or seek dical advice, as soon as possible."
Jane silently thanked the doctor for responding tactfully, grateful for her guidance. She squeezed Liam’s hand, subtly urging him to show more restraint, and not ask any more weird questions.
Liam nodded, absorbing the doctor’s words. "I understand. We’ll make sure to communicate and prioritize Jane’s well-being every step of the way. Thank you doctor."
The doctor smiled, pleased with their response. "That is wonderful to hear. Rember, I’ll be here to guide and support you throughout the pregnancy. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any concerns or questions. We’re in this together. Oh, and Mrs Yang..."
As the conversation continued, Liam listened more attentively, as he gently took all the dicines provided for his wife and after a couple of conversations the couple finally bid the doctor goodbye.
"Oh, mom is already here!"
Jane imdiately shouted the mont she saw her mother’s car packed after they just got ho. She was resting in the garden when she heard rushed footsteps and when she saw her daughter, she couldn’t help but imdiately stand, her face carrying extrely gentle expressions.
"Mom! It’s so nice to see you. How are you? Where is the food?"
"Hello my baby. I’m doing well, thank you. Your food is inside honey."
On hearing her mother’s words, Jane did not waste a second as she imdiately rushed past her husband into the house, montarily forgetting that she was supposed to be hugging her mother.
"And you got ditched..haha.. How are you mom?"
Liam made a light joke as he led his mother-in-law back to the house, where they conversed on their way.
"Actually, mom, you were right, We’re going to have a baby!"
"Oh my goodness, congratulations! That’s wonderful news! I’m so happy for you both! Grandma can now start her own shopping, Hehe....."
"Thanks, mom. We’re really excited about it too."
"Wait, won’t she kill you when she finds out that you have spilled the beans without her?"
"She won’t, she’s busy ravaging on her food to care."
Mrs Lu imdiately burst out laughing the mont she heard her son’s words.
"Baby girl, you know how proud of you I am already, and now this news makes even happier. You’re going to be a great mother once again and this ti round you will be around fully."
She gently held her daughter’s hands after miss girl was done eating and now looked so relaxed, making it the perfect ti to continue the conversation.
"Thank you, mom. I really appreciate your support. I’m going to do my best and you should also do your best by dropping around with more of your food daily."
Of course, honey. I’m here for you, and I want to make sure you have all the support you need."
"That would be really helpful, mom. I am also thinking of hiring a nanny because those two balls are getting more energetic and with taking care of the companies and Wifey pregnant, I would really need so help."
"Of course, son. That’s a good idea I’ll do my best to help you select the best."
"I agree with hubby mom. Although we should be extra cautious now. I want an experienced loving nanny of course it will be good if she is of your she mom, one considerate and one whose presence will makes the twins feel so lively."
"Don’t bring any young girls. I’m not trying to get my wife snatched away from ."
Mother Lu and Liam nodded at her words, letting her know that she has all the rights to be worried and they were going to take into keen considerations when planning.
"I think you should move to the Yang mansion. Liam, you will be busy with work, it would be good to of course surround your wife with a lively environnt."
The couple stared at each other as if considering her words as Jane imdiately nodded, making both Mother Lu and Liam smile because Liam had been thinking about it ever since he found out she is pregnant.
