"And you go get this and this and this...."
Mother Lu turned to Liam as if rembering that this other son of hers existed, as she imdiately handed so instructions for him to comply and take care of making the man nod as he replied before leaving Ryan, who was busy standing looking offended, but one glare from his mother imdiately made him go to the apple tree as he started plucking the apples, grumbling from ti to ti.
Looking at her two sons, who imdiately got to work, Mother Lu looked satisfied as she went towards the sofa where Jane was busy breastfeeding the kids, intending to help her daughter with anything she thinks that she would need help with.
Alongside that, she started inquiring about her health, what she felt, and if she was okay with her letting the rest of them know that she was awake.
"Well, I was planning to let everyone know that I am awake, but uh, you ca in suddenly. So I guess apart from Ryan and Liam and you, others are yet to know of my awakening. But we had planned to actually inform them maybe later on or tomorrow."
"Hmm, that’s good. The rest will be really excited because we have missed your presence so much. Like nothing is normal without you around, my dear."
"And of course, the one who experienced the biggest blow is your husband."
"Speaking of husband, I was not able to ask him himself because I know he was going to hide so things from , but how exactly was he during these past nine months?"
Jane casually and cautiously asked her mother as she maintained eye contact with her, intending to get out each and every reaction from her mother, not wanting her to lie to her.
"Well...as I said, your man had the whole situation harder than us since Liam completely detached himself from us, we couldn’t even call or I couldn’t even treat him like I used to treat him before the accident happened. Liam beca so cold that we as his family had to be cautious around him."
"He only visited us once as we were having a reunion or just a al, and the man left in between the al and I could guess...I an, I could understand him because everyone else had co with their kids and their won of course he would feel so left out because he was struggling to raise the twins, at the sa ti struggling to cope up with the fact that he was not going to see or hear from you for we don’t know for how long, well.. until you wake up, that is."
Jane pitifully looked at the direction her husband had left, and her heart couldn’t help but ache for him.
"Of course, he beca even more brutal in the business world that everyone beca so cautious of him that the na President Yang was like a curse to many."
"And when the details about you being in a coma were released, the man did not even bother denying it as he stayed to protect your na as even in a recent situation, just yesterday, he got a whole family brought down from the upper society, all into bankruptcy, because the head of the family stated that you were just in a coma or like you were just dead, and that they should let you rest in peace while his daughter replaces you and the girl even went ahead to insult you, sothing that rubbed him in the wrong way."
"Liam. Liam. Liam...."
Jane muttered her husband’s na, and she couldn’t help but chuckle from ti to ti because she felt like this man was just sothing else.
"I’m still glad for him though. I’m just happy that I am awake and that I would be able to heal his heart once again because I know he’s still not in a stable situation and so situation earlier proved that he’s still trying to heal and maybe the pain or the fear of all this being a dream to him is still sothing that he’s trying to tackle, but managed to win. We have always won."
The mother and daughter nodded their heads in unison as they ca to a similar agreent, so quietness imdiately taking over as the chirping of birds and Ryan’s constant curses could be heard.
"Oh! soone needs a diaper change? Wow sll is so pungent!"
Both Jane and her mother had the sa reaction, as they could sll that the twins had imdiately done so business and they couldn’t help but smile because they really ant business.
Mother Lu imdiately rushed inside as she intended to take so diapers, so wipes and of course, a towel to lay on so that they can change them from there.
"Oh! Who is that stinky Boo Boo? Who is the stinky Boo Boo? Who is a stinky Boo Boo?!"
After burping the children, Jane started joking around with them. Her voice of course adjusted to sound baby like and of course enticing to the kids as she joked around with them with the situation that was currently in their diapers.
It was at the sa mont that Ryan ca back with a bucket full of apples only to find his mother missing.
"Where is my...Oh!! what is that sll?"
He wanted to ask where his mother was when he was imdiately hit by the sll coming from the diapers of the twins, and the man couldn’t help but scrunch his nose, intending to look at the twins to ridicule them, only to find them staring at him as if daring him to actually show them any ridicule.
"Why do I get wronged every single ti? Look at how you two little monsters are looking at . I an, I’m not the one who has soiled my diapers, now am I?"
Ryan shalessly started arguing with his nephews, only to receive a smack on his back and the mont he turned, intending to reprimand Liam, he ca face to face with his short mother, making him shut up imdiately.
"Oh, I do question myself sotis if you’re really my son, cause look at how stupid you act. Really Ryan? Arguing with 9 month old children?"
The twins equally looked at their uncle as if asking him if he was really going to argue with such angels like them. Like was he even not ashad?"
Ryan raised his hands in surrender as he handed his mother their bucket of apples, only for the woman to just side eye him as she said an almost silent thank you.
"I’m going to complain to grandma. Mommy has stopped loving . Look at you putting all your attention on your daughter and your grandsons as if your son doesn’t exist."
"Yeah, quit speaking."
Liam imdiately intercepted the mont he got back on you to find his brother-in-law complaining about his mother-in-law loving his wife. And when it cos to his wife, he would naturally be biased. Doesn’t matter how good the relationship with the other side was, making Ryan just take a seat as he resigned to fate.
Liam and Ryan watched as, Jane and mother Lu carefully changed the diapers of the kids, and the mont they were done, one could see the relief on the eyes of the twins as they looked fresh and they looked pumped up.
They were busy laughing when Liam’s phone rang and the mont the man picked it, his expressions imdiately changed as he stood up.
"Hmm.. soone is causing trouble again. Just excuse as I got deal with it, yeah."
Liam imdiately went towards Jane as he pecked her and gave the twins a kiss each before saying goodbye to his mother and his brother-in-law.
"Huh? What happened?"
Jane imdiately asked before Liam could leave and the man thought for a minute if he should tell her or not but after considering for a mont, he spilled out the truth, only to see Jane’s eyes brimming with jealousy, making him inwardly chuckled as he felt glad that his wife was here to protect her property.
"The people really think that I would never co back like.. how do people have this amount of audacity?"
She cautiously asked, earning a chuckle from everyone around making her pout because they could understand she was coming from a strong level of jealousy.
"I an, first of all, you have an outstanding man, that already should be alarming to you, and second, you’re not near him at the mont, so of course those little insects will try to have a bite."
"Seems like I have to quickly recover."
"How is it? Is everything in place?"
Liam carefully asked Dan the mont he was away from the rest making Dan’s eyes twitch but still politely answering his boss.
"Yes boss. All ready. Should we invite madam’s family and the rest?"
"No. That will be for mid day. I will take care of it."
"Okay president. The package has already been taken to the place you had instructed."
"Aah! Good, good job!"
