"Hmm, where should I leave you champs?"
It was finally the day of the event and Liam was carefully studying his twins, trying to think whether he should go to the event with them and introduce them to the world or have soone babysit them. But again, not everyone in the family was going to attend the event.
The elders at this point were careful of their health, so they did not participate much, but the most active ones were still Father Yang and Father Lu representing their parents in terms of family matters.
Liam therefore decided to drive to his grandparents in law’s house and leave them there.
He knew he was bound to find his grandparents there too, and that was okay with him because the more the rrier.
"What did you say?! Liam is here?"
Grandma Yang almost fell off her chair at the mont she saw a servant running into the house, alerting them that Mr. Yang was around.
The Elders turned to look at each other, as if asking each other if anyone of them had ssed up because they knew that Liam wouldn’t just approach them or visit them without a valid reason.
The elder shook their shoulders, so shrugging because they didn’t do anything, but of course they were interested to know why Liam was visiting them.
They were about to speak among themselves when they heard the giggling of young voices followed by a man trying to appease his children as he made funny faces at them.
Their hearts instantly lted when they saw this sight of Liam, a side that they all missed so much, but of course, a side that they knew would only be triggered back by Jane and the kids only.
Liam could feel the burning longing gazes on him and he imdiately lifted his eyes as he ca face to face with the elders, making his heart feel at peace because this does give him so type of peace that he couldn’t explain and he felt like he could just say anything to them, but at the sa ti, he didn’t know how to even start saying the sa things.
"Grandma. Grandpa."
He greeted both sides with respect, and of course, and they could spot the softening of his voice, and the elders felt good knowing that they still had a spark in Liam’s heart.
"Oh, I brought you these little angels. I’m sorry to abruptly visit, but if it’s play, would you mind accompanying them as I attend the event? But if you’re busy, I can find a nanny for them or carry them to the party."
Liam had started his speech well, but almost got nervous in the middle, making the elders try to stifle their laughter because they felt like he’s like that one guilty kid who doesn’t know how to display his sorry actions before the people he wronged but tries to encourage himself.
"No, son, it’s absolutely fine. In fact, we were bound to just lazy around, but at least we have soone to accompany us, more like our little angels."
It was not the first ti that the kids had co into contact with their great grandparents, and therefore the mont they hears their voices and they felt the aura of the elders, the two twins imdiately started giggling, revealing their toothless gums.
"Oh please! I feel like I’m about to fall in love!!"
Grandma Yang had to hold her poor heart because the sweetness that was coming from these two twins was just so beautiful that the rest of them were stupified as they watched the two handso young boys stealing their hearts away.
"In that case. I’ll feel at ease, Grandma, Grandpa, thank you so much."
"Hey champs, you’re going to stay with your great grandparents today. Behave and don’t pee on them. I love you champs."
Liam carefully lectured his twins as he handed them over to his grandparents, and as if the twins did it intentionally, they imdiately ignored his father, their father, as they turned their attention to the elders, giggling and laughing, trying to attract their attention because they felt so good having all the attention to themselves.
Liam stood by the side as he watched them, his heart bubbling with happiness, seeing the scene before him.
On the other side were his grandparents and his in laws and on the other side were his beautiful handso twins. All the cute nas that you can give a beautiful, baby, they all belonged to his twins.
As if soone was controlling his emotions, Liam imdiately opened his mouth and spoke, attracting the attention of all four elders who softly looked at him.
"Grandma. Grandpa. I’m so sorry..."
All the elders shook their heads at him as if telling him that all was OK and that he had nothing to apologize for because they felt like they understood him and the situation that he was going through.
Liam softly smiled back as he nodded, but his nod imdiately stopped the mont he realized the dirty looks that his sons were giving him, as if to tell him that he had interrupted their quality ti.
"OK, fine, fine. I’m leaving. You don’t want your father around. I am leaving. Bye!!"
Liam chuckled as he left the mansion, feeling a little bit relaxed because he felt like he had halfway nded his relationship with his grandparents, sothing that gave him imnse happiness.
"Let’s do this!"
Liam pumped himself up as he looked at his suit before him, one that he was supposed to dress in for the event.
By now all the cars were leading towards the biggest hotel in the country, where the event was going to take place.
Reporters had already camped outside their event, waiting for the socialites to co in because they had so juicy reports to focus on.
"Do you think Mr. Young will like this?"
"I hear all this and I think you are just that stupid. Do you think that man would even have the heart to have another woman? With how much he showed and displayed his love for her? Now before real girls!"
The socialite girls were busy bashing each other as they reminded the delusional ones that Liam was not going to take in any other woman, but of course, they never listen.
"Is everything in place Dan?"
Liam coldly asked his assistant and the man nodded in response as he showed his president each and everything that was to be done, all that has already been done and the event ready to rock and ready to start.
Liam proceeded to nod in acknowledgent as he left, to prepare for the big event.
He passed by Jane’s room and the man couldn’t help but get in and head over and have a word with his woman.
"Hello my love. How are you this evening? Your cheeks look so rosy and so beautiful. If only you’re beautiful erald eyes would equally be open. I tell you, I would be the happiest man right now!"
"Anyway, love, don’t stress yourself. Take your ti, recover well. I’ll always be waiting for you."
Since Ryan had re diagnosed Jane and told him that the girl could actually hear him or the girl could actually hear his thoughts, Liam found so new motivation and therefore each and every ti he did not forget to include every single information, no matter how small or no matter how small it might look to the outside world. To him, it was a big deal because he felt like he was including Jane in their everyday life.
"Rember when I told you that I was going to step in as the CEO? In your place? Baby, yes, today is the night and I am excited to finally take your wishes to another next level. I know when you wake up you’re gonna have to repay and reward with a lot of things and I honestly can’t wait!"
Jane on the other hand, was just listening to him as she felt like crying because she could note the excitent and the pain altogether in her husband’s voice. But again, she was happy that she got to love a considerate man, a man who put all her thoughts before his and she knew that the mont she was going to wake up, she was going to make sure that this man is treated like the king he is because he is more than a king.
"Anyway, love, I think I’m getting late. Let go prepare and head to the event. I don’t know if soone is going to ruin my mood because you know, the girls outside there are just not it but I know. I’ll make sure to co back ho without slling anyone’s perfu and I’ll make sure to slap anyone who dares co close to because I am your property and you should wake up soon and claim your property. It’s not good to let your property walk outside here all alone without any safety. Baby, I don’t feel safe....!"
If Jane was to be awake right now, she could have busted out in laughter because Liam was acting as if he couldn’t just give these girls a glare and they would imdiately run with their tails tucked in between their legs in fear.
Liam had learned to treat talking to Jen as a two way conversation so as to reduce his pain and so far it was sothing that was really working.
Therefore, after saying a few words to his wife, he finally stood as he left the room, going into his own room to finally prepare himself.
He looked at the erald suit that was brought up by Dan for him, and he couldn’t help but smile at Dan’s thoughtfulness. He felt like he should reward that man with a heavy bonus very soon.
He looked at the suit that resembled Jane’s eyes carefully before finally deciding to pair it up with the very first gift that she ever gave him, those six pairs of cufflinks. He knew one of them was going to perfectly fit with his suit.
