"Don’t you think our baby will develop so violent tendencies If you continue loving such things? You should slow down..."
Ian innocently gave out his view of Mary’s excitent towards such torture, but he never knew that he was about to experience torture himself just from his words.
"What did you say?"
Mary turned back and looked at him with a very sweet smile. A smile so sweet that it started creeping the heck out of Ian and that is when he realized that he was not supposed to utter what he had just said.
"Oh! What is I...Who am I kidding? Go on, enjoy my love. Enjoy baby! As long as it makes you happy, it makes happy! The baby will just have to adjust with it."
Ian imdiately wore the role of a very happy and carefree husband, earning a nod of satisfaction from Mary and the mont the woman turned her back on him, he breathed out a huge sigh of relief because for him, his life flashed before his eyes for a second there.
"Phew! So close!!"
"What do you an you are trying to do us so goodwill? Oh please!! We’ve known each other for years, and if there’s a person I know who is so selfish, then it has to be you, Mother. So don’t bullshit us anymore. Just don’t!"
Cynthia imdiately shouted at her mother the mont she heard her saying that she was doing them a favour, that the simple betrayal was for their own goodwill and she couldn’t help but keep her emotions at bay, cursing out and glaring at mother Xi.
"Why are you acting all pretty and innocent? Why are you not telling your brother and father that you were about to run away with ? It’s only different that you were caught. Why won’t you tell them? Are you afraid that they will kill you? Oh, please!!"
John and Nicholas simultaneously turned their necks towards Cynthia as they sent a death glare towards her, making the girl grit her teeth in anger as she turned to look at her mother. No emotion and no affection towards the woman who gave birth to her.
"I did not betray my family. I did not run away from my family! You did! So suck it up and take the responsibility but anyway, there’s no responsibility to take because I’m going to finish you."
Cynthia ’s eyes were extrely empty and murderous that one could see the only thing that was running in her mind was murder and nothing else.
The mont she was about to jump on, mother Xi, all four of them imdiately curled up in pain as they felt like sothing was eating their insides, burning them to the core.
"What is this? Sobody make it stop!
Sobody? Anybody make it stop!! Aaaah!!"
Father Xi started shouting in a lot of anguish and in a lot of pain, coupled with the fact that his wounds were apparently still fresh since they were not properly bandaged, but bandaged to a point that will just keep them alive.
"Ah. I never knew the sea family could be this week or is my poison not tolerable?"
Mary’s voice was heard in the chamber, scaring everyone except for Daniel and Emily.
Rita imdiately curled herself in fear the mont she heard her voice, because to her, that voice was like a nightmare. That voice was like a chanted curse that scared her to her wits.
"Oh! Rita, sweetie, it’s just my voice. You don’t have to coil that much, you know. You’re gonna hurt yourself, how then will I torture you enough?"
" Emily!! You lied!! You activated the poison!"
John turned to look at Emily with eyes holding a lot of betrayal, making the woman wonder what this man was onto, because according to him, he was clearly betrayed. He was acting as if they were so lovers, and she had ssed up. She couldn’t tell but roll her eyes at his dramatic expression, coupled with the expression of pain, he looked like soone who had his shit stuck in his body after nurous trials of getting it out.
"Now.. now, John, relax. Go easy on my mom. First things first, nothing cos easily. So you all thought she was just gonna let you fight your way out and that is it? Listen. The rules are very simple."
"You have to fight with that poison activated and the winner would actually get an antidote and their lives free. Their lives would be given back to them. Isn’t that gracious? Isn’t that wonderful? Please applaud..Hehe..."
Mary added in a twist while clearly mocking them and at the sa ti, putting their spirits to fight very hype because according to them, each one of them was determined to survive and the mont they survived, they were going to rise back up and take their revenge. That was the only thing that kept them going at the mont.
What Mary did not tell them was that the poison had only 30 minutes maximum before the all collapsed dead.
She of course, was not going to ruin the fan, but instead just hurried them up because she was clearly keenly watching them with Ian by her side mouth completely shut.
Emily turned to look at Danielle since she had the sa concern as Ian but the mont she saw the proud look on Daniel’s face as if the man was contemplating on asking Mary about more of her poisons, she face pald herself inwardly as she sighed, giving up.
Who knew if that child was going to be a pure copy of Daniel? Not even his or her father?
She just wanted to question heavens real quick on how strong Daniel’s genes have been because Mary is acting more than Daniel himself acts.
"Hurry up, When are we going to start? I..."
Cynthia was clearly writhing in pain, feeling as if she was about to die but death was even trying to evade her when she felt a knock on her head, only to turn and angrily seeing her mother trying to kill her first.
"Your skunk!!"
Of course it was a tactical understanding between the three since they all jumped at mother Xi at the sa ti since they were determined to finish her first as they face off their next opponent individually.
Emily and Daniel retreated out of the room quietly as they watched the family being in a quite a fight, with everyone intending to win.
Rita had long given up as she had lost consciousness because her heart and her thoughts were just so jumbled up because first of all, this woman that she had been fighting for long could have killed her with just a simple thod but she chose to keep her life for a while so as to torture her and she felt like what was about to co her way wasn’t sothing good.
Just like that, Daniel and Emily watched as mother Xi died in the hands of the sa family that she cared for, and the sa family that she ended up betraying.
They equally watched as the father and son imdiately turned to Cynthia with no intention of sparing her, despite her calls help and despite her pleas of being let off.
The father and son didn’t even think twice before murdering their sister/daughter with the zero rcy.
Just like mother Xi, Cynthia was killed through excessive choking. Their bodies were weak enough and therefore with all choking that ca, and the blockage of air that ca, it prevented them from even fighting further as they imdiately left the world.
The mont John and Nicholas were about to turn to each other and start fighting each other, they heard the clapping of both Emily and Mary at the sa ti as they were instructed to stop.
By this ti, The two looked so worn out and tired as they wanted to fight each other because each one of them wanted to leave this place.
By this ti again, they were left with barely 5 minutes to live, sothing that Mary was anticipating, really watching because she wanted to see how these guys were going to die with the great regret covering their eyes and with betrayal, the betrayal that they were going to feel deep into their souls.
"You have earned your freedom. You are free to go."
John and Nicholas thought that they were hearing Mary wrong, but imdiately heard Emily’s voice repeating the sa thing, and they couldn’t help but open their eyes wide in surprise, shock and happiness. In their eyes one could also spot a glint of rcilessness, a glimpse of ruthlessness, one that clearly declared that they were going to be after their lives the mont they stepped out of the room.
The door was imdiately opened as Ken stood by the it, watching the two, literally wanting to break down with laughter because he has never seen people this stupid before.
Their happiness was really at its peak, that they did not even feel the burning of the poison increasing at a level that was alarming and strangely wanting to kill them.
"You hear that, son? We are free! We are free. We are free!!!"
"Yes dad, what we’ll have to do after we get out of this place is what we should be thinking of right now."
"That’s not a problem son, we can always build ourselves right from the start. Our only downfall will be the fact that we cannot function like normal n and human beings in general anymore."
