Jane had a reason why she cut off Nicole imdiately. When she found her, Nicole had been molested with no hope to live. She helped her seek justice and slowly rise up to where she is today. She knew if Nicole knew what happened to her, she might even have a panic attack knowing she stood in the sa room with such a man.
Nicole did not bother thinking much as she proceeded to do as instructed by her boss.

Such were the news spreading but people felt this was similar to Jane’s and Liam’s way of dealing with those who ss with them. Either way, no one bothered to defend the Li’s after evidences of their wrong doings hit the internet.
In country B, Edward Chen was struggling to deal with the situation about his branch companies. The heads of the branches were already behind bars as the cases were deed serious for the suspects to be walking freely.
As he was leaving the police station, with no solution at all he saw a figure that seed too familiar for him to ignore it. The woman strongly resembled soone he knew but he couldn’t exactly find out who she is.
He looked at the figure shaking hands with one of the police heads when a woman’s face ca into his mind, Rose Lu! The woman she was seeing right now resembled Rose Lu but what is she doing in country B?
He doesn’t rember Jane talking about Rose’s origin. But again she is a Lu, what does country B have to do with her? It might even be a coincidence or he must be tired that his brain is not functioning well. He tried convincing himself that that is the case.
If only Edward was a little careful, he would realize that the woman he saw was an older version of Rose Lu and the reason he is in this situation right now. He decided to drive off and relax his mind, maybe then will he be able to find a solution to the problems at hand.
As he drove off the sa woman looked at his car disappearing with a smirk on her face. She silently muttered under her breath, "Edward Chen, you hurt my darling niece and your girlfriend hurt my precious baby girl, this is just the beginning of everything."
