Diana left the place shouting she would be back for revenge. It is a good thing there were no paparazzi around or it would have affected the reputation of the company greatly. Being on the li light for a CEO because of rumors and scandals is not sothing pleasing.
Inside the car, Jane took so wipes and handed them over to Nicole. "Good job back there." She told her in her normal voice.
Despite the fact that they have a work relationship, Jane never mistreats her, she receives a lot of privileges and gets punished when she goes wrong.
Anna Lu was receiving a lot of pressure from Mother Chen because of the rumours still circulating, this could easily kill her chances of becoming Mrs Chen. She knows how cunning the Chen couple is and the are probably planning to get rid of her.
As they were talking, the Butler imdiately rushed and whispered to Mother Chen, "Madam, Miss Diana Wu is here."
Mrs Chen’s eyes imdiately lit up in comparison to how they were while talking to Anna. "Let her in imdiately." she instructed the butler.
Few minutes later, a beautiful young woman stepped into the living room dressed in a presentable piece of clothing but her make up looked thick. She rushed to mother Chen and gave her a tight hug, "Auntie!" She bowed down to Mr Chen as a sign of respect. "How are you auntie and uncle?"
She asked them in a sweet voice ignoring Anna completely.
"We are fine Diana, when did you land that you even forgot your own auntie?" Mother Chen asked trying to act all cute.
"I could never forget my auntie and uncle, my flight landed today and I decided to co say hi, where is brother Chen auntie?"
Diana spoke and asked carefully at the sa ti.
"Sigh! Edward has been continuously working in the company, it is facing so problems here and there." This ti round it was father Chen who spoke.
"Is there anything that I can do to help auntie? I can tell my father to do sothing to help Chen Enterprise." Diana spoke trying to sound sweet and understanding at the sa ti which of course impressed the Chen couple.
"We will get back to you when we require your help Diana, thank you dear." Mother Chen patted her head lovingly making Anna boil in anger.
She could not let this bitch win! "Auntie, my father is also a shareholder in the Lu Cooperation, I can ask him to intervene on the matter about Chen family." Anna spoke trying to attract the attention of the three people in the room.
"Oh please forgive my manners, I did not see you here, My na is Diana Wu, the heiresses of Wu enterprise and brother Chen’s childhood sweetheart." Diana pretended to be shocked hearing Anna speak and even went ahead to remind her that she knew Edward since they were young. Her words sounded kind but Anna could detect mockery in her tone. She gritted her teeth in annoyance and switched to her acting mode.
"Nice to et you miss Diana, I am Anna Lu from the prestigious Lu family and Edward’s girlfriend." She said sounding proud of her words, reminding Diana that Edward was now hers.
