Her eyes took in all the familiar and unfamiliar faces, so looking at her with adoration, others looking at her with both adoration and love, so with envy and so with a little bit of hatred. Of course, hatred is expected when Anna is around but what on earth was up with Liam’s assistant and that look she gave her?
Jane chose to ignore it and turned to her man, giving him the biggest hug she could as she thanked him, afterwards turning towards her big family, thanking them each.
"Everyone, thank you so much for taking your ti to attend my queen’s birthday, the only woman I am ready to die for. Welco to the party! Officially that is.. " Liam’s little speech was followed by a loud applause mixed with laughter.
He led Jane to the stage, the birthday girl was ofcourse expected to give so speech.
Jane stood before all the people looking at her, a couple of stairs separating them.
"I honestly don’t know what to do right now, should I cry or laugh?" Her angelic voice imdiately filled the whole Sports Club.
"Ladies and gentlen, this man right here.. " She pointed at Liam as she continued speaking.
"This man right here made today a success, of course I expected it to be a success even though I had no idea he was planning sothing for but..." Her speech went on as a couple of lies rolled smoothly out of her mouth but the good thing was that, everyone including Liam didn’t know she was lying.
Jane could have sworn as ti went by, the uneasy feeling she had earlier was getting stronger but her line of thoughts was cut of as the lights suddenly went out, the whole place becoming pitch black.
She felt her heart start beating faster as saliva suddenly got stuck on her throat, surprisingly making it hard for her to swallow it.
Before anyone could say a word, the lights suddenly ca back, gasps echoing from the crowd making Jane frown as she turned towards their direction of sight only to turn and co face to face..well, face to knee with Liam.
The man was down on his knees holding a teal velvet box as he looked at her with eyes full of adoration, love and fear. Fear because he scared her knowing she hates the darkness, fear because he knew he will get his ass whooped later on but of course, if his vows impress her tonight then he will be able to get away with his actions.
"Jane Lu, I honestly don’t know what you do to love. You have the reason I am happy. The reason I recently smile alot, the reason I feel my world complete."
Jane’s eyes were ofcourse stinging with tears but she was trying to hold herself and her tears.
"Today marks your birthday but today also marks the day when I officially ask for your hand in marriage. The day I ask you to marry , the day I ask you my queen, to grace with the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with you."
A couple of adoration chants ca from the crowd, just in ti for Liam to finally open the velvet box in his hands.
"Jane Lu, or should I say Mrs Yang, you make complete, you make happy, you are a blessing because I an look at you babe..you are so fucking beautiful and gorgeous, you are one intelligent lady, you have a beautiful and heart warming smile love and I swear I won’t trade you or that smile or this ravishing body for anything...Lord! I swear you are just so gorgeous love!"
By now Liam was taking in deep breaths to calm himself down while Jane was now crying, her emotions over the edge, she couldn’t get his beautiful words out of her mind and before she knew it, She imdiately pulled Liam up, crashing her lips with his, a kiss nowhere near gentle but a kiss where she poured out all her emotions, their tounges fighting for dominance but as usual, Liam won.
"Damn Mother Nature.." Jane mumbled in annoyance as she was forced to pull away from the kiss so that she can catch so breath.
The two love birds were busy catching their breath, their foreheads resting on each other, both of their eyes shining with both love and adoration.
"Will you marry babe? Will you grace with the opportunity to grow old by your side love?"
Liam was finally on his knees once again, popping the question as he finally opened the box.
The dia imdiately zood in giving everyone a clear view of what’s inside the box and imdiately gasps were heard as everyone finally saw the ring.
Inside the box was a beautiful silver infinity three stone ring. The ring was curved with utmost beauty as the infinity symbol symbolized their love and journey which was going to last forever, the three stones symbolizing their past, present and future.
"Yes Liam.. Yes baby.. Yes! Yes! Yes!"
She responded back with the sa enthusiasm and energy as the ring was slipped into her finger, perfectly fitting, her huge smile combined with so tears of happiness telling everyone that she had long accepted to tie her fate and future together with Liam.
Her tears of happiness telling everyone that she was ready to embark on another journey in her life, one which she clearly intended to include Liam in all the way.
A big applause could be heard as Liam slipped in the ring wearing a very big smile, the dia shuttering their caras furiously, each trying to get the best and perfect picture of the couple.
