With the revenge ga in plan, a month went by super fast with everyone having their own expectations, plans and so on. For people like Jane and Rose they so hopped that they were already pregnant.
In the Mo household, the family of four, the Mo elders together with Ian and his wife were having a quiet al when all of a sudden Mary stood up and rushed to the washroom, her hand on her mouth.
Her action startled everyone as Ian imdiately rushed after her, leaving his parents tightly holding each other’s arms hopping that whatever made Mary puke was pregnancy.
"Love? Are you okay?" Ian asked as he went behind her and held her hair back in place as the girl threw up every single food she had eaten that morning.
Mary did not reply but when Ian pulled her in for a hug and was about to kiss her, the girl quickly detached herself from him while giving him a disgusted look.
"I’ve just thrown up Mr, my mouth slls and so does the puke... Lemmi brush first." She said as she took a toothbrush and started cleaning every corner of her mouth.
Ian just chuckled as he watched the girl make sure she got to the furthest part of her mouth but deep down he was actually scared knowing the chances of her being pregnant were 99.99% but he was not scared because he didn’t want a child.
He was scared because he didn’t know if he could make a good father, considering the fact that he always ca ho after a month, how on earth was their baby going to feel his father’s love?
These are among the many thoughts the man had but he didn’t know that his was already in love with the child in her womb. Yes, Mary knew she was already pregnant but didn’t tell anyone and has been hiding it but she suddenly started puking today.
She had also put into consideration all of Ian’s worries but the man was ofcourse unaware of her plans. Being soone who grew up without her parents, she wanted the best for her children and will make sure they are more than spoilt.
The couple was brought out of their imagination by Mother Mo’s voice and that is when they both realized they were drowned in thoughts.
Mary looked at the woman before her and hugged her assuring her she was okay but that was not what the woman wanted to hear.
She wanted to hear the ’I think I should go to the hospital’ phrase. Mary saw the dissapointed look but it dissapeared as fast as it ca and the girl was really holding herself from from spilling the news but she knew it was not yet ti.
This was going to be her birthday gift to her mother-in-law and she just couldn’t wait for the weekend to reach because she was getting tired of keeping this secret even from her own husband.
It so happened that Mother Mo, Mother Lu and Rebecca shared the sa birthday and let’s just say the birthday party that has taken a whole month to plan was going to be the birthday of the century, with three powerful won sharing the sa birthday.
If only Mary knew she was not the only one planning a super gift....
The three went back to the dining room without saying a word but Mary couldn’t help but drop a few hints here and there because she couldn’t just stand seeing her parents being this dull knowing very well what the two elders were expecting from her.
By now, Ian could already guess that his wife was indeed pregnant but didn’t want to force the information from her. He knew very well his wife was smart and calculative so he wasn’t going to tamper with any plan she had coming.
"Make sure you get the best present this Saturday hmmph!" Mother Mo pouted as she looked at her son, reminding him to free his schedule and prepare for his mother’s birthday to which Ian smiled as he pecked her cheek and from Mary’s expression, he could vaguely guess what she was planning.
’I have two more days to squeeze the truth out of her and make this mom’s best present.’
The man smiled inwardly because he knew his mother and as a woman who had complications while giving birth to him and a woman who always wanted more kids, no present was going to beat being a grandma.
After eating, Mary decided to leave for Lu cooperation because she suddenly missed the girls and she knew for a fact that the chances of the girls being in Jane’s office was very high since the party was being planned by Jane herself.
