He did not mind the stares he was getting as the man was mainly focused on getting to Jane’s office where he knew Chloe was. On reaching the president’s floor, the man ca along Nicole who was about to get into Jane’s office.
"Hey cuz." Nicole greeted the man who responded with a smile. "Is Chloe inside?" He asked with divided attention making Nicole chuckle. "Yes she is, dad to be." Imdiately she responded, the girl ran away because she was actually dying of laughter seeing Ryan’s expression.
"Did she just.. wait! So I am a dad!!!" Ryan was busy trying to hold in his excitent when he noticed the cara staring at him making the man try acting serious. "Great! Now Jane has a reason to laugh at for heaven’s knows how long!" The man grumpily said as he walked into the office.
The whole place was quiet and he assud they might be in the washroom and he wasn’t wrong when he started approaching the washroom only to hear voices. Ryan took a deep breathe before he opened the door and since Jane was facing the door she was able to see the man who put a finger on his lips to silence her.
"You know Jane, the only thing left is to inform Ryan about this but how is he even going to react girl? I am so scared!" The mont Chloe finished her statent, she felt a hug from behind and two strong hands directly massaging her stomach. The girl was about to flinch but she picked his signature scent, making her relaxed and nervous at the sa ti.
"R.. Ryan?" She asked only to feel the man’s breathe on her neck. "Yes my queen?" He replied in a low but soothing voice calming Chloe down. Jane who was watching all this couldn’t hold her excitent and tears at the sa ti that she had to excuse herself.
The girl lightly tapped their shoulders with a smile and left after picking up her car keys. Back in the washroom, Chloe was still trying to figure out how she was going to break it to Ryan when the man spoke.
"Thank you for carrying our child my love." His voice still low, the man did not disappoint as he was trying his best to calm Chloe. "Did you just say ’our’ and did you call your love?" Chloe asked her voice full of uncertainty prompting Ryan to turn her around making her face him.
The mont their eyes locked Ryan panicked when he noticed the fatigue in her eyes making him carry her bridal style imdiately. "Ryan! Put down!" The girl scread from surprise the mont her feet left the ground. The man in question did not bother listening to her as he took her to one of the coaches in the office and made her sit comfortably.
"You shouldn’t be standing for long Chloe, you will hurt yourself and our child baby." Ryan said as he took off her shoes and put her feet of the coach as he covered them with his suit jacket. After the man made sure she was comfortable according to him, he nodded approvingly making Chloe roll her eyes.
"Right, to answer your questions, yes you are carrying our baby, the next heir /heiress of the Lu family and yes Chloe I called you my love because..." The man got closer to her as their faces were barely inches before he finished his statent. "I am in love with you Chloe Yang..." Ryan dropped the bomb expecting to see a surprised Chloe but the girl was extrely relaxed scaring him.
"A.. aren’t you surprised Chloe?" He asked when the girl did not answer back. "I figured out you were Ryan..hehe..."The girl wore a proud look as she answered back acting as if she was not the shocked girl earlier when Jane told her that he was in love with her.
"Well...I know everything happened without our planning but can we focus on taking care of our baby together? I wish you knew how happy I am Chloe! I am a dad! This child will be having both of our genes Chloe!!" The man’s voice took a whole turn as he sounded so excited making Chloe laugh as her eyes teared a little but she suddenly stopped when sothing hit her.
"Ryan! What about our families? How are we going to tell them???" The girl sounded worried making Ryan chuckle a little. "Relax baby girl, everyone will know about our upcoming family only when you want them to." Chloe stared at him giving him that ’I don’t get it look.’
"Is our baby taking away all your thinking senses baby gi..ouch! I am sorry!" Ryan wanted to tease her when she grabbed his ears and started pulling making the man apologize imdiately.
"Ouch! It still hurts you know.. but my heart is open to accept any apologies." The man said waiting for her to at least apologize but when he realized he wasn’t going to get any, he tried being serious for once. "What I ant is that, when you are comfortable to let the whole world know about our baby then that is when they are going to...Wooah!"
Ryan stopped midway when he realized the person he was explaining things to was already asleep!
