The car stopped outside Ian’s apartnt and Ian did not waste any ti before taking Mary’s hand and leading her into his house, leaving his parents busy giggling outside.
Once they were in, Ian took a long pause before finally speaking, "Welco to our ho darling but during the ti I won’t be around, you can spend ti with mum at the Mo mansion if you want to."
Mary gave him a smile before nodding her head when Ian spoke again. "So Uum... can I kiss my bride?"
Mary gave him the ’you already did’ look but that was not about to stop the man because the next second, he started walking towards her, making the girl walk backwards the more he approached. It was not until Mary hit the wall that she realized she had been tricked.
Ian gave her a smirk before closing the distance between them. He looked straight into her eyes as he took her hands and put them behind his neck.
"Mary, I know this is not how you wished for your life to turn out but let tell you sothing." Ian started and the girl nodded as she listened.
"I have never fallen in love but I want to try falling in love with you.. I know it is early but just a reminder, I won’t treat you like soone I do not know but I am going to treat you like a woman I have married after falling in love with. I..."
Ian did not finish when Mary sealed his lips with hers, pulling him for a very deep kiss. The man was surprised since he did not expect that but regardless, his hand snaked her waist as he let her take charge because it really felt good.
After 3 whole minutes of kissing, Mary broke the kiss as she looked at him, her eyes teary. "Due to the path I chose, I have never had a normal life but from the mont I t you... I don’t know how to put it Ian but you are a blessing Ian and this mont, I promise to be a faithful and caring wife to you, I promise to try my best." She finished her statent accompanied with a sincere smile that struck a chord in Ian’s heart unknowingly.
"I know you do Wifey." Ian replied as he joined their arms together only to realize that he had forgotten sothing very important! The mont he intertwined their fingers, he realized that his wife lacked a ring and that was so wrong. He only hoped that she was not going to feel bad about it before he made arrangents for a set of rings.
Before the two could talk further, Mary’s phone rang and imdiately she picked it, she got a report about Victoria and so she had to leave. "They got Victoria in the base.. I.. I have to leave." Mary said as she tried finishing her statent but she did not know what Ian was thinking.
"I will go with you." He said only to earn back a firm no. "NO!" I an..you can’t co because you are the major general and that is the underworld." She said but in a panicked mode.
"You know, no one else is able to read you but I can and I know you fear letting tag along because you think I will judge you." Ian spoke earning a guilty look from her. When she did not answer, Ian grabbed her hand as he led her outside, "I will be happy if you trust my words Mary, I told you I can’t judge you and I truly can’t."
Inside the car, Ian made her sit and he drove to the base through her instructions. They both arrived at the base and no one seed surprised to see Mary together with the major general but they seed shocked since they didn’t expect such a person to step into such a place.
Before they got to where Victoria was, Mary took Ian to a certain room where they were able to change clothes and put on masks. The two did not say a word to each other as they stepped into the room where the whole place was filled with sll of blood.
"Wake her up!" Imdiately Mary ordered, a bucket of freezing cold water was poured all over the girl making her scream as she woke up.
"Aaaarh! Who are you,show yourself bitch, do you know who I... Aaaaargh!" She did not finish her statent when a bullet flew just a few centiters from her ears and Mary’s voice filled the place. "If you do not shut up, the next bullet is going to hit your forehead woman."
Victoria was now shaking as she almost pissed on herself due to shock. She nodded her head continuously earning a satisfied nod from Mary who comfortably sat down on her seat.
