Derick looked at his father but before he could wonder further, he grasped the aning behind his words and he couldn’t help but grin widely. "Yes dad.."
He turned to Cynthia and once again instructed her.
"I do not care how you are going to do it but I want you to establish a good friendship with Rose, she can help you get back your footing, even if it ans getting to talk to Nicole..."
Cynthia’s eyes widened but she knew her father was saying the truth. Unwillingly the girl nodded her head.

In a dark room, a man was seated surrounded by computers and in one specific computer, a red light was blinking and the man was carefully listened to everything coming out of the sound system.

He silently whispered sothing to himself as he smiled in a reassuring manner.
"Get an appointnt with that bitch." Cynthia hang up the phone after instructing her assistant.
She leaned back on the chair as she dived into a pool of thoughts.
The day ca to a peaceful end without the people knowing that everything was just calm before the storm as more mysteries were about to reveal themselves and so were about to hurt themselves with their own conspiracies.
Weekend finally ca and Jane got discharged with Liam not wasting a single minute to take her back to his pent..aheeem, their penthouse.
The girl was all smiles as she left the hospital but she was nervous deep down with the thought of sharing a bed with Liam.
What she did not know was that her assistant Nicole was more nervous than she was after agreeing to go out for a al with a man who has been bugging her all week.
Nicole sat on her bed as she tried different dresses for her lunch date with Peter Zhang or according to her, the annoying man. She sighed as she rembered the many calls she got everyday, the man asking to share just a simple al with her but she knew how she feared being in the sa space with a man.
She had definitely underestimated the man’s power of stubbornness which ended up winning and now here she was, on a Saturday mid morning searching for a perfect outfit for the date.
The girl realized that all the drresses she had were official and she had nothing casual to wear. She was about to give up when she saw a pair of denim jeans. She nodded as she searched for sothing to wear with and once she found it, she couldn’t help but smile approvingly as she headed for the shower.
On the other hand, Peter was so damn excited. After a whole week of trying, he finally got her to accept a al with him. The man was trying so hard to search for a casual outfit but just like Nicole, he realized he only had one. A denim trouser to begin with.
The two were busy preparing themselves but they did not know that they were low-key going to look like a couple especially when both of them were going to be in denims.
Peter finally finished dressing up and as he was about to leave, his mother’s curious voice stopped him.
"My son, you dressed so well in casuals, are you perherps going to bring a daughter in law?"
Peter smiled as he heard his mother’s words but he was surprised when his brain was trying to make him imagine how he will introduce Nicole as his woman in the future.
"Don’t worry about that mom. I’ll be out for the day. Take care, I love you."
Peter kissed her forehead and proceeded to leave but he did not know his mother had long ago made up her mind to stalk him.
Mrs Zhang smiled as she watched her son leave. She had clearly seen the smile when she ntioned daughter-in-law and she is also aware that the last ti he smiled in such a manner was because of Jane but he is now smiling back in the sa manner aning there is soone making her son go crazy and she must get to know her.
