Madam Heidi sat on the chair wearing a puffy blue dress which shimred with silver embroidery that decorated the bodice under candlelight illumination. She maintained a calm look with several gemstone rings on her hands that softly rested on the tabletop as she observed .

For just head of the servants in the castle she looked exquisitely coiffed with her hair elegantly pinned into an elaborate updo which revealed more power beyond her servant title. She reached for a cup of tea and calmly drank from it.

"You are late." She said without looking at .

Gritting my teeth I imdiately knew that I had no choice but to imdiately slip into the role of the docile princess. Clasping my hands in front of , I bent an ankle behind as I lowered myself into a courtesy.

"Apologies, I got delayed." I replied, my tone even and rational, careful not to let any of my emotions bleed through.

Madam Heidi’s smile pulled at the corners. "Hmm." She humd and I noticed the way her eyes darted to sothing behind .

Before I could figure out what was going on, I suddenly found myself being seized from behind by two maids. I struggled against them but they held on tightly to , their grasps iron like despite their delicate features.

Feeling more confused, I raised my eyes up to glare at Madam Heidi who was busy sipping her tea and right next to her was Marian who looked even more nonchalant, I gritted my tea as I glared at them. "What the hell is happening?"

"Put her down on her knees!" Marina suddenly ordered and before I could react, the maids suddenly swept my legs from under causing to fall down to my knees, the impact sending a sharp jolt up my legs.

"My lady!" Heather yelled, about to rush forward to help but suddenly she was being restrained too!

The maids grabbed Heather and imdiately shoved her down to her knees, forcing her to lie down as one pressed a knee to her back restraining her movents completely. Heather continued to struggle but she couldn’t move and I could see a hint of fear in her eyes as she glanced at .

Feeling a surge of anger, I glared up at the two won who sat still as if couldn’t be bothered with the whole thing that was going on. "What is the aning of this?"

Madam Heidi sighed before she glanced up at with a look of pity on her face, "Well I suppose it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t tell you why we are doing this." She said before she tsked again, shaking her head at in mock pity, "But I want you to understand that’s it for your own good."

My own good? Oh please give a fucking break! "What about this says it’s for my own good?" I yelled at her, "Unhand this instant and let my maid go!" I said.

Madam Heidi and Marina shared a look, a silent communication passing between them before Madam Heidi turned to look at again, "I’m afraid I can’t do that." She said before she carefully set down her tea cup.

I watched as Madam Heidi rose from her seat walking towards with deliberate movent that made her puffy dress gently billow slightly while the silver embroidery glead like tiny icicles under the candlelight. She proceeded in a thodical manner through the silent room as she walked.

"You see princess," She said stopping in front of while I raised my head up to glare at her, "I’ve been told you’ve been quite unruly lately, acting unladylike and using your authority over the...weak." She said in a disappointing tone.

My gaze flickered over to where Lady Marina was sitting, sipping her tea with an innocent look on her face as if this wasn’t her doing. I couldn’t believe that she would stoop so petty as to report to Madam Heidi. But then, that was not even surprising since she took ti to always watch out for every mistake I make so she can go ahead to report back to my father and I’m guessing she did that now which is why Madam Heidi is standing right here front of .

Drawing in a deep breath, I closed my eyes and reigned in my anger. I let myself relax against the won who were holding tightly even though I could over through them with just the slightest movents. But I decided to stay calm, revealing what I am wasn’t going to do anything to help anyone at the mont, all it would do was just get in more trouble, so it was best to let them think that the ball was in their court.

I lowered my head in a submissive manner, "I didn’t know I had offended the lady of the house in any way and for that I apologize."

"Oh but you see dear that wasn’t the case." Madam Heidi continued, "I was told you were aware of your every action, every words spoken from your mouth."

Resisting the urge to sigh I kept my head down, feigning ekness even though on the inside I was battling with reigning my frustration in. This was what they wanted, total submission and complete obedience for . It was best to give them that so this whole thing can end quickly!

"I am sorry my lady, it was just bunch of words said from anger, it doesn’t an anything." I replied bowing my head low.

Madam Heidi humd and I couldn’t look up to see the expression on her face. I do hope she believed though but sothing in suspects she wasn’t going to let this go easily. "You said sothing about respect about it earned both ways but you disrespected the lady of the house in front of the servants yesterday."

Lady of the house? When will she understand she isn’t the lady of the house anymore? I glared at Marina who was now watching the whole thing calmly, though her expression was one if complete satisfaction.

"You really disappointed Dahlia." Madam Heidi said with the sa asured tone that had sothing cold and final underneath it. "But then, I suppose it is my fault, I should have taught you better, but I am here now, so I will teach you a great deal about the respect you so demand, strip her down and give her fifty lashings on her back!" Madam Heidi announced and sothing inside of of snapped!
