The assembly ended in a tensed up way after I had spoken and then Reagan had agreed with . But he had to send so guards to go see what was at the border and he also stated he would be stating this problem to the king who I’m sure had already heard of it but he was just too lazy to do sothing about it. And even if he was, I know it wasn’t going to be sothing more other than to kill them all just to serve a lesson.

My father’s only solution to any difficult problem, was death! That was the way it always have been with him and it doesn’t matter how less or petty the cri was. It was ended with one thing only, death or being locked in the dungeon which was a slower death. It has always been that way even when I was a child, I’ve watched him chop of heads for complaint against the crown or anything that hurts his pride and I’ve seen him whip other people for just even breathing the wrong way.

So when Reagan had concluded that he would be taking the matter to the king, I honestly wanted to talk him out of it. I didn’t want him near my father and as much as I wanted him to stay away from my father, I knew that he was bound by duty and all of that.

There was also the issue that I didn’t tell him about the whole plan I had with the rebels. I probably should tell him before he finds out but perhaps now isn’t the right ti. Knowing that I was the black knight was sothing different, but telling him I was siding with the sa rebels who were causing troubles in the provinces were sothing else.

I was going to tell him when I was sure that I was ready, not now!

When I had decided that, I stood up and went out of the room while Reagan stayed along with so of the n to talk more. I acknowledged so of the people who bowed their head at as they left and others I just couldn’t stress myself enough to be bothered with them.

I was just about to start heading to my house when I saw Ivana chatting with so ladies, few feet away from as they walked hand in hand.

Unable to resist myself, I was already calling out to her before I could figure out what I was doing I was already calling out to her. "Ivana!"

The three won turned to look at , squinting while shielding their faces from the sun with their gloved hands. Ivana slowly dropped her hands as she stared at with a blank expression on her face. Heaving out a deep breath, I cradled my stomach with one hand while I headed towards the ladies as fast as I could.

"Ladies!" I panted when I finally reached them.

It just felt as I had run a marathon with the short distance I walked, I was starting not to like this stage of pregnancy. The tiredness, hormones and also the fat that I was fat and it looked like a large sized lon had been strapped right on my belly.

"My lady!" The won chorused as they curtsied perfectly.

I smiled at them acknowledging their greeting before I turned to look at Ivana. "Can I please speak to you?"

Ivana stared at for a mont before she gave a curt nod. Then turning to the rest of her companions she said. "Ladies, I’m afraid our delicious gossips will have to be cut short but please you are welco to have tea at my house later this noon!"

I willed myself to keep my expression neutral at the theatrics of Ivana and watched as the other ladies nodded their heads before they bid Ivana goodbye.

Ivana waved at them with a smile then she turned to look at with that blank look she had on earlier. "What is it you want my lady?"

Right, this wasn’t going to be easy! I thought to myself as I swallowed before I spoke. "Listen about the other day at the castle, I apologies!" Ivana didn’t say anything so I assud that she was still waiting for to continue, so I did. "Back at the castle, emotions were running high and I took out my aggression on you, sothing I shouldn’t have done because that isn’t how a woman should behave. For that, I apologize." I finally finished as I stared up at her, awaiting her response.

Ivana stared at for a minute, not saying anything then she nodded her head at with a tight smile on her face. "Apology accepted, Lady Dahlia!"

Lady Dahlia? I asked myself with a frown but before I could ponder on about it, Ivana was starting to turn away from . "Um, Ivana, do you need help?" I called just before she could leave.

Ivana looked confused as she cocked her head at . "Help?" She repeated, "Help with what?"

Why was she acting like this? I leaned forward my voice dropping into a whisper. "I thought you needed help with Lord Skarde. Don’t you?"

Ivana cocked her head at , "Listen my lady, I don’t know what it is you might have heard but I’ll have you know that the relationship between and my husband is just fine my lady I don’t know what you are talking about."

"Ivana I..." I tried to speak but she was cutting off

"Besides, I honestly don’t think we are close enough to start jumping into conclusions about my husband, isn’t that right my lady?"

Ivan didn’t give a chance to reply because she was already walking away. I didn’t bother to call after her because she was right. I had said those words to her, told her we weren’t close and that she can’t be close to at least not without wanting sothing in return.

I should not have thrown it in her face like I did back then but I had and I was facing the consequences which was I didn’t call her back but instead watch her walk away. Her figure walked faster towards the gate making rapid steps while maintaining rigid posture as if she was trying to escape quickly from .

My grip tightened on my sides while quiet cursing erupted from my mouth. I honestly don’t know what had gotten into to make her push away like that, I had just been so angry I had said all of that. I an sure Ivana doesn’t help soone without wanting to get sothing in return but I failed to recognize the one thing she truly needed from , help!

Ivana needed help and I do not care what it is she says right now, Ivana needs my help and this ti around I was going to offer it to her! I thought to myself with determination.

I was just about to go after her when I heard soone call my na. I turned only to find a servant walking towards fast. I slowly appraised her with my eyes, wondering who she was.

"My lady." The servant said while bowing her head, "My lady has requested to see you in the drawing room."

"My lady who?"

"Lady Marina!"

Of course! "Well lead the way!" I said when all I wanted to do was just crawl into my bed and bury my face in a book till I fall asleep.

I followed the servant till I finally reached the huge mahogany doors which led to the drawing room. Bowing her head, the servant pushed the door open and taking in a deep breath to brace myself before I entered.

Lady Marina rested besides the windows, her dark in an elegant updo as always. The minute I entered she turned her face towards , her dark eyes assessing through their typical calculating and critical and evaluative manner.

"You sure took your ti coming up here!" She made her observation while leveling with a cool glare.

"Oh my apologies, but in case you haven’t noticed, stairs and I aren’t the best of friends right now thanks to this!" I patted my stomach.

Marina nodded her head at , "Actually that was what I want to talk to you about."

"If you are going to tell to get rid of it, it’s a little too late for that now don’t you think?" I asked with a laugh while Marina narrowed her eyes at , clearly not finding it funny like I did. "I jest!" I told her before I went to go and take my seat.

"So what exactly do you want?"

"Since you are almost due it’s ti for you to go on a trip to mount callum with the sisters of the earth!" Marina stated and all I could do was just stare at her more confused than ever.

"I’m sorry, the what now of the earth?" I asked not quite following.

"Every ti a woman in this household is to born an heir, she spends the last few days of the trister with the sisters of the earth at mount callum. The sisters of the earth pray for your safe delivery and make it easier for you and there’s no woman who has been with the sisters of the earth that have any complication with delivery."

Okay, sothing doesn’t quite sound right with it but I nodded my head either way. "Alright, so when do I leave."

"Tomorrow, at night!" Marina stated and my eyes widened.
