It was after he had recreated the four Divine tacs of the Luck Pathway that he went ahead to create the Divine tacs that his ntor wanted him to create. But he had created four at once because he couldn’t afford to be slow or be stopped.
He believed that if he created one Divine Position, the threat would take him seriously and take action against him. So he prepared everything just in case he would have to fight shortly after becoming a Divine Being.
However, now that he had acquired so much power, he realized that the enemy he was so wary of wasn’t so strong. It made him a little bit amused, a little bit relieved, and a lot disappointed.
Now that he had all of this power, he had to decide if he should kill this threat or not. This is the question he has been grappling with ever since he beca a divine being five weeks ago.
The question wasn’t easy to answer, which is the main reason he hadn’t been able to make a decision all along. He also thought that he wouldn’t have to make the decision when Loki remained in the world barrier.
Since Loki stayed in the world barrier, he expected Loki to die. But five weeks later, Loki was still alive and well, which further made him hesitant about starting a fight.
At the end of the day, he made up his mind, thinking, ’He is not the highest threat right now. The highest threat is now the old man Myriad Phenonon.’
’My advancent to rank 6 must have alerted him. It is only a matter of ti before he discovers my existence. If I use his Divine tacs and Divine Positions to fight soone, he will notice even faster.’
’So what I need to do now is use the amount of ti to prepare to cut ties with the Talisman Pathway and create a new pathway. That way, I will beco a legitimate rank 9 divine being. From there, I will start working on becoming a Dao Lord.’
’It is going to he easy, so instead of using up my ti and resources to fight a dragon, what I should do is find other beings who want to advance to rank 9 and help them. That way, they will be able to help distract the Dao Lords and take away so attention from .’
So at the end of the day, he decided not to kill Loki. It was all because he wasn’t a Dao Lord and couldn’t afford to draw the attention of Dao Lords or fight them.
In fact, he isn’t a real rank 9 being yet. He is only half of a rank 9 being. This is because he has the power, but he can’t use it.
He is definitely a rank 9 divine being of the Luck Pathway, and he can definitely use the power of a rank 9 divine being. The problem is that if he uses that power, every Dao Lord in the Sea of World will notice him and co for him.
In fact, the sa thing might happen if he initiates a new pathway and uses it to beco a rank 9 divine being. The power of a rank 9 being is just too conspicuous.
However, there is a difference between an old Dao Lord coming back to life and a new divine being trying to beco a Dao Lord. The forr identity ans that he knows how to beco a Dao Lord and will have an easier ti doing so.
There is also the fact that most of the Dao Lords in existence currently hate his old identity, so none of them would want him to return. But if he uses a new identity and a new pathway, the Dao Lord will treat him like any other upstart.
With his new pathway, he might be able to hide the fact that he is rank 9, and he might be able to gain the assistance of one of the Dao Lords to help him. These are all important reasons why he needs to create a new pathway.
On the opposite side of what he wants to accomplish is using the Divine tacs and the Divine Positions of another Dao Lord to fight Loki. He believes that he will surely be able to defeat Loki with this power, even if he restricts himself to using rank 8 power.
But even if he doesn’t use the Supre tac of the Luck Pathway to fight, he will still be noticed by the Dao Lord of the Talisman Pathway. This handicap is why he had to let Loki go, even though he didn’t want to.
As these things went through his mind, he cursed inwardly, thinking, ’These bastards won and wove a trap for everyone. Now, no one can beco a Dao Initiate anymore. I bet that this is the lord of slavery’s idea.’
Then he looked in the direction Loki left in again and thought, ’I really hate dragons. But I cannot deny that he has a lot of potential.’
’With his potential, it will be easy for him to beco a Dao Initiate. If he had been at rank 8, I would have helped him to beco a Dao Initiate. That way, he can help draw so attention.’
A cruel smile spread across his lips as he said to himself, ’How fitting would that be? A dragon Dao Initiate that is trying to beco a Dao Lord and is being stopped by another dragon who is already a Dao Lord.’
’Maybe the dragon lord of slavery will enslave him. It won’t be the first ti, and it probably won’t be the last. Or maybe the dragon lord of slavery will just kill him outright. After all, he does hate other dragons.’
He was talking about the Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect. That person was also a dragon before they beca a Dao Lord.
