He was worried that a large hand would suddenly appear in the sky, so after the third Divine Position settled into the core of his Cave Heaven and beca a part of his Life Fire, his gaze was fixed up at the sky. He stood there looking up at the sky as if he was expecting it to fall on him at any mont.

As he waited, he said to himself, ’ The four Divine Positions were gotten for show anyway. It is so that I can use the Divine tacs openly, so it doesn’t really matter if I can continue to use the Divine tac secretly without exposure. What matters is if a certain Dao Lord thinks that I am being greedy.’

Fortunately for him, while many divine beings thought that he was being greedy, no Dao Lord thought that he was being greedy. At least, no Dao Lord thought that he was greedy to the extent that he needed to be killed so that his greed could be curbed.

Because of this, no one ca to kill him for what he had done. So, he finally allowed himself to sigh in relief.

But then he shook his head and said to himself, ’Maybe it is still premature to relax. Let’s see how the sect will behave when I steal from them before I consider the matter done.’

There was still one last thing he wanted to do before going after the dium world, though. So after he said that, he took out his sect token and contacted the seer about the auction of small worlds.

He sent a ssage saying, "When exactly is the next auction?"

The seer said, "In the next five days, at dawn by 7 am. The auction will be held through the divine constellation."

When he heard the location of the auction, he chuckled and said, "I know that it is a bad idea that having divine beings gather in one place is a bad idea, but I still find this amusing. It makes it seem like we divine beings can’t be trusted to behave ourselves, which is true."

After laughing, he left for the second heaven. He went there to prowl for feasible targets to prey on.

He was not going to the second heaven to eat spirit creatures because he already had helpers there eating spirit creatures for him. He had released the manifestations of Fenrir into the second heaven over a month ago when he went there to loot the Cave Heaven of the six divine beings that he killed.

So for now, hunting is what’s on his agenda. It is basically what he can do to increase his strength aside from assimilating worlds. Since there are no small worlds for him to assimilate at the mont, he will hunt.

In the next five days, he managed to find and hunt three divine beings. Two of them were rank 7 divine beings. The last one was a rank 6 divine being.

He picked the rank 7 beings to hunt at the start because he didn’t plan to stay for a long ti in this tiline. In fact, he had planned to only target rank 7 beings. The rank 6 one was just too easy to pass up.

According to his plan, he will steal the heart of the dium world in a month’s ti. After stealing the heart, he would reverse ti.

In order to achieve his goal, his highest priority right now is growing stronger as much as possible in the little ti he has until he has to go and steal the heart. So he doesn’t care about sustainable hunting or scaring the divine beings away from the second heaven.

And he did scare the divine beings away. After two rank 7 divine beings and one rank 6 divine being died, the divine beings were scared off. But he didn’t care.

In fact, he didn’t stop hunting when the auction started. He remained in the second heaven as images of small worlds, and their information was sent to him.

He wasn’t the only one to whom the images and information were sent. There were many other divine beings who received the sa information. If they were interested, they would make a bid.

The bids were made public, so everyone knew when soone made a bid and could decide if they wanted to continue bidding or if they would give up.

So the auction was similar to the kind of auctions that mortals have. The main difference was that the participants of the auction were in different locations, and the currency being used was the essence of the hearts of worlds or the concentrated sedint of dead souls.

As it happened, Loki was in possession of a lot of the essence of the hearts of worlds. He got them from all the small worlds that he looted recently.

Usually, he would have given the world essence to the world heart of Hammock’s world to help it grow and advance to a dium world. But his goals were different in this tiline, so he kept the world essence to use them for the auction.

It also happened that Loki didn’t need the world essence for lifespan, as other divine beings do. So he was capable of spending every bit of world essence in his possession.

With the world essence in his possession, Loki was able to buy 2 out of the 10 small worlds that were up for auction. He still had more world essence left over, but it wasn’t enough to win a third small world.

The two small worlds were unlike any he had ever assimilated in the past, though. They were very big, with one at 87 million square kiloters and the other at 79 million square kiloters. This is why they were so expensive and needed the essence of the hearts of several small worlds to purchase.

In general, he was very satisfied with the two small worlds that he bought. However, he promised himself never to spend money to buy them in the future.
