Chapter 490: Not So Fearso.
After he recognized the wall, he said in surprise, "How co the world barrier is here? Is it everywhere in every dinsion?"
The world barrier has a fearso reputation in the world, but he wasn’t willing to give up on what he wanted to do just because he encountered the world barrier. He only had 20 and a half years’ worth of lifespan left, so he had to go sowhere to replenish his lifespan and prepare for his next step.
Already, he had begun to feel the drain on his internal energy. If he didn’t have infinite internal energy, he would have been drained dry.
He continued to press on into the wall by using the power of his Cave Heaven to create a path for himself. As he walked through this path, nothing happened.
This lack of danger made him entertain the idea of eating the crystal wall. After thinking about this idea for a while, he decided to go through with it.
He summoned the Devour Ability and took a bite out of the wall beside him. Unfortunately, the black forcefield failed to gain purchase on the wall.
The black forcefield was like oil on water. It slid off the wall without doing anything to it. So he shrugged and continued his journey through the wall.
Nothing else happened to him until he left the other side of the wall. This made him snort and say with pride, "Here I thought the world barrier would be more fearso. I guess only mortals have to fear it."
Then he continued his journey.
He encountered another world barrier a short distance away. This one was at the very edge of the world and indicated that he was leaving the Blessed Heaven World, not just the Central Domain.
He still didn’t stop and went ahead to walk through the world barrier. As usual, the wall only drained so of his internal energy. It didn’t do anything else to him.
From there, he gained access to the vast empty space between worlds. This space was completely dark and bereft of light. It was pitch black.
The darkness made it easy for even a divine being like him to get lost. If not for the tracking mark guiding his way, he would have stepped back into the Blessed Heaven World because he knew that going further without guidance would only lead to getting lost.
After a few seconds of traversing the darkness of the third dinsion, he finally encountered another wall. As his Insight Stat swept through this wall, he was able to determine that this was the crystal wall of the small world that he was going to.
This made him say, "So it isn’t only the world barrier that appears in the third dinsion. Even crystal walls also appear."
Then he shrugged and said, "I suppose it is appropriate that crystal walls also exist in the third dinsion. After all, what kind of defensive asures would they be if any divine being could bypass them easily?"
As he ruminated on the defensive power of crystal walls, he attacked the wall in front of him with the Devouring Ability. This ti, the black forcefield managed to grip the wall. So he was able to take a bite out of it.
Unfortunately, all he gained from the crystal wall was so energy. Since he already had an infinite supply of energy, this energy was useless to him.
However, the devouring had managed to open up a hole in the crystal wall for him. Before the hole could heal, he stepped through it and gained access to the small world.
Even though he was successful in gaining access to the world, he still complained, saying, "Not only have I lost the ability to use Branch tacs, but even entering a world has beco prohibited. What else will I have to lose in my pursuit of power?"
He was being sarcastic, of course. He didn’t really have anything to complain about, as he believed that gaining more power was always good.
On the other hand, the will of this world had begun to panic. It was completely frightened by his intrusion, especially since it didn’t have a world king to protect it.
The world is still in the process of raising and selecting a world king. So Loki could go directly to the heart of the world without fighting a world king.
But he didn’t do that now. Instead, he appeared in a place deep underground. When he appeared, he was above an ant.
The entity bearing his mark was a literal ant, not an euphemism for a weakling. The ant was also a giant ant, so it wasn’t exactly weak.
The ant was even bigger than Loki. It was the size of a three-story building.
He had appeared just above the head of the giant ant. The giant ant was in a giant cavern filled with other giant ants. These other giant ants were tending to the giant ant beneath him.
As he looked around, he noticed that the giant ant beneath him was at the center of the cavern. He also saw that this giant ant had a large soft abdon and was laying eggs every second.
This made him say, "This must be an ant queen. The rest should be the workers and soldiers."
Then he chuckled and said, "Who would have thought that the information broker was an ant queen? Then again, it suits him. It is just like him to have attendants everywhere working for him like worker ants slaving away for the colony."
No one responded to what he said because he had used the Mind Freeze tac to freeze the minds of everyone in the cavern. So both the ant queen and every ant in the cavern had frozen and beco immobile.
The ntal influence of the Mind Freeze tac lingered in the cavern so that fresh ants that entered the cavern were also frozen as soon as they entered the cavern. This gave him the peace and quiet to do his work.
