Chapter 488: Divine rits.
Then he shook his head and said, ’How did the Four Directions Sect beco such a behemoth anyway? Is there no place safe from them? Is the entire Sea of Worlds to tremble at the ntion of their na?’
He sounded like he was lanting the state of the world, but what he was really doing was feeling sorry for himself. He was feeling anxious that, with the way the Four Directions Sect and other sects are expanding through the Sea of World, there would be nothing left for him to take when he is strong enough to compete with them.
Unfortunately for him, there was nothing he could do about it. He could only sigh in pity while he continued to look through the list of things he could do to help the sect expand.
He saw in the list that there were very few missions that involved doing things in the Blessed Heaven World. One of them was attacking and subduing small heavens that had been captured in the heavens.
After looking through the list of missions, he went to look at the requirent to raise his Dao Status. His eyes widened when he saw that he would need 1,000 divine rit points to raise his Dao Status from Level 6 to Level 7, and he would need a million divine rit points to raise the Dao Status from Level 7 to Level 8.
His eye twitched, and he said in anger, ’The mission to subdue a small world will only reward 10 divine points. So they want
to subdue a small world 100 tis before I can be promoted to Level 7 Dao Status. What greedy cheaters!’
He was furious, but he didn’t dare to make his complaints out loud for fear that soone he couldn’t afford to offend would hear him. Now that he has gained access to the divine constellation and can use it to acquire information, the fact that the sect has always been able to know when he killed soone has gained a new aning for him.
He has also gained a newfound understanding of why the information broker had been unwilling to talk about Dao Lords. He, too, has to be afraid of them if only because he doesn’t know what they are capable of.
Without becoming a divine being himself, he could never imagine that there were many dinsions of space. It wasn’t until he beca a divine being that his worldview expanded and he beca aware of the extradinsions and the divine constellation.
Just like he was largely ignorant of the capabilities of divine beings and didn’t know that they could check his whole history, there is no way he can be sure that Dao Lords can’t know when he is talking about them and learn what he said about them.
This thought went through his mind as he realized that there was no way to raise his Dao Status to Level 9.
The absence of this crucial information made him chuckle and say to himself, ’I would be surprised if they offered a way to make
beco a Dao Lord.’
After chuckling, he said, ’I guess I will just have to get that information on my own. I should ask my informant while we chat about other things.’
He was already tearing through space as he said this. The space he tore went right from the first dinsion into the third dinsion.
When he got into the third dinsion, he looked at the picture of the world at his feet. Then he picked the nearest city and jumped into it from the third dinsion to the first.
A few seconds later, there was the sound of breaking glass as space was torn aside. A dark hole also appeared after space was torn open. Then he stepped out of the tear in space.
Many people in the city noticed that he appeared above the city. His appearance filled them with fear, and they began to panic.
Everyone beca frantic and rushed to leave the streets. They all ran into their hos as if their walls would protect them from him.
From his position above the city, he looked at them below with an indifferent gaze. They all looked like ants to him.
In fact, they were ants that he could eat. The only reason he hasn’t eaten them yet is that he doesn’t want to expose his capabilities to the other divine beings.
For one, he doesn’t know if a divine being is watching him secretly. Secondly, he doesn’t want to give the other divine beings a reason for them to inquire about his information, only to have to spend all of the lifespan he will gain from eating the mortals on stopping the inquiry of the divine beings.
Thirdly, this city could also be an investnt of a certain group of divine beings, like the Thorn House of Comrce, and he didn’t want to offend them and create new enemies by destroying their investnt.
So, for now, he is only willing to take action in a place that isn’t right under the nose of so many divine beings and where everything that takes place here is accessible by the divine constellation of the Blessed Heaven World.
While he was thinking about this, his gaze scanned the city and didn’t stop until he found his destination. Then he tore through space and dipped into the third dinsion.
A few seconds later, he tore through space again and appeared in a room in the Central Market of the city. This room was also in a shop. The shop was an information broker shop.
As soon as he appeared in the room, he attacked all of the people in the room. His goal was to kill the attendants, but he didn’t hold back from killing everyone at the sa ti.
He simply nudged his Cave Heaven a little bit and made it crush the whole shop from the third dinsion. All ten people in the shop were crushed to death along with the shop. Six of them were attendants, while the other four were people who ca to the shop to buy information.
