Chapter 477: Power Is Good.
The sight of that golden fla made him decide not to make any mistake by saying sothing he shouldn’t say. His mind is made up to only do what he was asked and not say anything unless he is asked to speak.
Loki noticed the little thoughts going through Muni’s mind and chuckled to himself. Muni didn’t know what was funny, but he didn’t dare ask.
He also didn’t dare to look up at the divine being. In fact, he kept his eyes on the ground as if he didn’t want to miss a single step.
In this way, the two of them walked all the way to the secretariat in total silence. One of them was walking while the other one was floating by his side with a golden fla burning on his head.
Loki’s appearance nearly gave the attendant at the secretariat a heart attack. But even though the attendant’s heart wanted to give out in fright, the man didn’t allow himself to faint. He waited until he was done serving Loki before he allowed himself to faint.
This sight also brought a smile to Loki’s face. As he left the secretariat, he said with satisfaction, "Power is very good. It is the best."
After Loki finished his registration, he went looking for Rusty. Thanks to his Insight Stat, he could see the entire city at a glance. Not even walls could block his sight, so he knew where everyone in the city was.
Once he spotted Rusty, he used his Cave Heaven to create a tear in the dinsion of space he was in. He tore the hole directly into the third dinsion, which is the gray dinsion. Then he entered the tear in space and moved into the third dinsion.
As he entered the tear in space, he felt his body shift a little bit in order to help him acclimate to the changes in circumstances. Unfortunately, his clothes couldn’t adapt like his body.
His clothes were shredded into dust as he crossed the tear in space. So even though Loki didn’t feel any discomfort, this was enough to tell him that the extradinsions weren’t places for mortals to trespass.
There was also the fact that there was no air in these extra dinsions. Loki didn’t feel anything amiss about this, and neither did the dead souls in the black river below. But he was sure that a living mortal would find these circumstances to be unbearable.
When he reached the third dinsion, he looked up at the sky for a brief mont. He saw the stars twinkling in the sky. However, he didn’t see his own star.
He wasn’t surprised by this developnt since he knew that he hadn’t beco a divine being because of a Divine Position from the Blessed Heaven World. His ascension was all thanks to Fenrir, so he has no right to stand among them in the sky.
He could also tell that he could never reach the stars in the sky, so he didn’t bother to go after them to attack them. Instead, his gaze shifted back to beneath him, where the Crystal City lay.
He had entered the third dinsion from inside Crystal City. But now that he was in the third dinsion, Crystal City was below him, and it looked flat.
Upon taking a closer look, he saw that everything was flat. It was as if the whole world had beco a picture while he had stepped out of the picture.
The whole world had beco a vivid map before him. From his position, he could see every city in the Central Domain, including the cities at the world barriers. Everything was exposed to his eyes, and it looked as if he only needed to reach out to touch them.
This superior position grants him a positional advantage to view the world from a greater height. But it also makes it impossible for him to interact with the world. So if he wants to interact with the world, he will still have to return to the physical dinsion.
Another thing that he noticed was that there were no humans in this third dinsion. In fact, he couldn’t see any living things, from insects to birds. The whole place was barren of life.
He was thinking about this as he picked a location in the picture of the city below him and tore through space to reach that point. In response to his will, his Cave Heaven moved, and a tear appeared before him. When he stepped out of this space tear, he found himself in the sa room with Rusty.
He wasn’t surprised to be in the sa room with Rusty, but Rusty was definitely shocked to see. But the man didn’t fight or shout at the sudden intruder. Instead, Rusty fell to his knees and put his head on the ground.
His presence made Rusty feel overwhelming fear, so his voice was shaky as he said, "I am at your service, my lord. I will do anything you want
to do. Just say the word."
That was what he said, but what he was thinking to himself was vastly different. He thought to himself, saying, ’What have I done to encounter this calamity? Was I cursed in my last life?’
What he wanted was to be as far away from this place as possible, and what he wished for was infinite speed so that he could move as far away as possible.
Unfortunately for him, wishes aren’t horses. He can’t have whatever he wants by wishing. And he can’t say whatever he wants to a divine being either. He has to say sothing pleasant that won’t get him killed.
Loki could tell what Rusty was really thinking, so he knew that Rusty wasn’t really happy to see him. But he didn’t care about this.
Rusty’s thoughts and opinions didn’t matter for what he wanted to do, so he walked over to Rusty and put his hand on the kneeling man’s head.
