Chapter 475: Infinite Energy Vs Infinite Potential.
He had appeared at this particular point in ti because it was as far as the Rewind tac could bring Fenrir and the Divine Position. Any further beyond this point required too much energy for the Rewind tac to continue moving.
So he was sitting down, relishing the changes and improvents that a Cave Heaven has provided to him, when Fenrir ca running from the future with a Divine Position in its stomach.
A Divine Position was created using the heart of a world as the ingredient, but a Divine Position is not the heart of a world. The two of them are not the sa thing, but he has had a lot of experience fusing with the heart of a world.
Besides, this fusion isn’t to create a Cave Heaven for him. He already has a Cave Heaven, so the fusion this ti was faster than before.
The fusion only took 23 minutes instead of six hours, like the fusion of the heart of a world and the subsequent creation of a Cave Heaven. After Fenrir finished fusing with the Divine Position, its multicolored body turned completely into gold.
Fenrir beca a statue of gold, but its body wasn’t made out of stone like before. Its body had beco a translucent crystal, so it looked like Fenrir was carved from a golden gem.
Then a golden spark appeared at the center of Fenrir’s body, which caused Fenrir’s body to catch fire. The fire was golden and pure and bright. As it burned on Fenrir’s body, it turned Fenrir into a bright star within the core of Cave Heaven.
This was the sa thing that happened earlier when the Divine Position accepted him and entered his Cave Heaven. The only difference now was that there was no infinite energy surging into his Cave Heaven from the core of his world.
His Cave Heaven still had to rely on him for its energy, but this didn’t stop the subsequent changes from taking place within him. The lack of energy to fill him to the brim didn’t stop the shackles limiting his growth from breaking.
This ti, the infinite energy surging within him isn’t the reason his limits were broken. Fenrir is the reason his body, soul, and mind can now grow beyond 5 units. Fenrir is also the reason he gained the Insight Stat.
This is all because even though Fenrir doesn’t possess infinite energy, Fenrir possesses infinite potential and is capable of helping him grow without limit as long as he devours great objects of power.
Since there was no infinite energy, his stats didn’t jump to 5.5 units. But when he eats the right thing, Fenrir will make sure that his stats go beyond 5.5 units without the aid of any Divine tac.
This kind of potential is sothing he is looking forward to seeing how far it will take him. But for now, he wants to enjoy the feeling of becoming a divine being.
It is a wonderful feeling that he didn’t have ti to enjoy in the previous tiline when he ascended. He was distracted at that ti because of everything that he was seeing thanks to the Insight Stat.
As his shackles were removed and his body changed, Fenrir, at the core of his Cave Heaven, beca the foundation of his consciousness. The little man in the Cave Heaven that represented his consciousness fused with Fenrir, so he has completely beco one with Fenrir in both body and mind.
anwhile, his body in the physical world also began to change. His body went from being solid to being an empty phantom shell, and then it beca an invisible mass of energy that only those who can see ntal constructs can see.
His body went through these three phases one after the other, again and again, for a long ti. The Insight Stat helped him determine that the change was caused by his body, mind, and soul fusing together.
The fusion of his body, mind, and soul wasn’t complete, but it created a product called the divine body. This divine body lost its organs and beca a construct of pure energy. So his body no longer possessed lungs, a heart, blood vessels, muscles, bones, a brain, and other internal organs.
He didn’t feel any different because of the absence of his internal organs, aside from the fact that he didn’t need to breathe anymore. But he knew even without the Insight Stat that he had now beco more difficult to kill.
However, the Insight Stat still provided the specifics of his situation by helping him determine that he can heal any injury, including regrowing body parts now. In fact, he can also regrow his head if it is crushed or beheaded.
This made him shake his head in wonder and say, "A Divine Position is definitely more powerful than the heart of a world. They may be created from the sa thing, but the will of the world of the Blessed Heaven World has done sothing to the Divine Position that makes it capable of turning a mortal into a divine being."
As he said this, he admired his body for a while. He doesn’t have a mirror, but he can see every inch of his body as clear as day with the Insight Stat. His perception was able to examine every part of his body, including where his eyes couldn’t reach.
Thanks to the Insight Stat, he saw that his body had beco taller, but his teeth had grown longer, and golden fur had grown all over his body. He also saw the black snake he now had for a tail attached to his butt.
His teeth were black, though. In fact, his entire mouth, including his tongue, was black. But there was a golden horn on his forehead, and his eyes were golden hexagonal.
All in all, he had beco a humanoid wolf. To be specific, he had beco a humanoid golden Fenrir.
His appearance made him chuckle and say, ’It has been a long ti coming."
