Chapter 42: Ultimatum.

The fourth one also encouraged Slav. Their words were so good to hear that even though they were his slaves, they were able to soothe his anger and appease him.

But the appeasent wasn’t nearly enough to make him forget his anger. He won’t take out his anger on them, but sothing has to be done to remove the source of his anger permanently.

So he said to them, "He must die."

His words were like the decree of a king. The four of them had to take it seriously and think of ways to execute his decrees.

But what he was asking for wasn’t sothing that could be achieved easily. The four of them looked at each other in dismay before one of them gritted his teeth and tried to calm Slav down.

It was the one on the right who spoke. He summoned all the strength and courage that he could muster as if he were going to war or fighting for his life, and said, "We have tried to kill him many tis, but we have never had the opportunity to. He never goes to the hunting ground, so we can’t ambush him there."

The lackey on the left saw the opportunity and quickly took it as he said, "No matter how we lured him, asked him, or tempted him with benefits, he never entered the hunting ground. If he doesn’t enter the hunting grounds, how can we kill him?"

Slav replied with a snarl of anger, "I can’t wait for him to enter the hunting grounds, and I don’t want him to leave the sect grounds for an opportunity to attack him. I want him dead now, and I want him dead at all costs."

He glared at them and asked, "Do you understand ?"

At this point, he has had enough of Loki. He literally can’t let Loki continue to live anymore.

The main reason he ca to participate in the initiation program this early was to get rid of Loki from within. He has tried his best to sabotage Loki at every turn. Unfortunately, Loki has been slippery and has always been able to survive his sches.

He could have asked his brothers for help, but Loki has always been low-key and has never appeared to be worth the cost of breaking the rules of the sect.

His father and brother have decided that they will act directly to kill or subdue Loki when their initiation program ends and they leave the sect grounds. But he doesn’t want that to happen.

He wants to be the one to kill the wayward slave. This is another reason why he hasn’t asked his elder brothers to co to the sect grounds to kill Loki.

However, wishes don’t co to pass simply because one wants them badly. He has failed at every turn to kill Loki, and now he is running out of ti, so he has beco quite desperate.

His desperation showed on his face, so even though he hadn’t explicitly told them how exactly they should kill Loki, they already understood what he wanted from them. So they nodded in reply to his question.

Their nodding satisfied him. So he cald down a little bit as he said, "I will give you one day to solve my problem. Either you do that, or all of you will die. If you can’t offer

tily solutions when I need them, then you’re useless to , and there is no need to keep you around."

"If you do well, my father will save you and reward you. If you don’t, then all of you can forget about living."

Then he snorted and turned away from them. He continued on his way to his house while the four of them stayed behind to rack their brains on how to kill Loki.

After they ca up with a solution, the four of them picked lots to determine who would execute their plans. The unfortunate responsibility fell upon the shoulders of the lackey who used to stand on Slav’s right.

The unlucky man’s shoulders slumped, and he sighed in despair. But he didn’t argue with the other three. He could only say to himself, "It is my fault for selling myself to Slav."

The other three said so words of encouragent to him, but their words did little to uplift his spirits. This wasn’t their fault because nothing could make him feel better about what he was going to do.

After a round of encouragent that ended in failure, the man turned in the direction of Loki’s accommodation and began walking. The other three followed him, but from a large distance.

This man is on the Forging Pathway, so when he got close to Loki’s house and took out his weapon, what he took out was a large hamr.

The hamr has a head that is bigger and heavier than his whole body. The handle of the hamr is also longer than he is tall.

All in all, the hamr is sothing that a giant should wield, not what a normal man should be able to carry. The reason he can carry it is because of the Telekinesis Core tac and the Living Armant tac.

The range of telekinesis at rank 1 is very short, and its power is weak, so it is not a good tool to use to fight on its own. The best way to utilize the power of the Telekinesis tac is to use it with one or more Branch tacs.

The Living Armant tac is a tac that allows non-living things to move on their own by infusing them with the will of their owner. Of course, the cost of the movent in terms of energy will be borne by the person who used the Living Armant tac.

In this case, he is using the Living Armant tac to make the hamr lighter. By combining this effect with the power of the Telekinesis tac, he can easily move the large hamr.
