Chapter 255: 90% Recruitnt Rate.

The giant smashed its large fists onto Loki to stop him, but this only egged Loki on. He grunted as he pulled the shoulder away from the giant’s neck. There was so resistance, but it quickly gave way, so the giant’s shoulder and neck were successfully separated.

He continued the separation until he had torn the giant apart from his neck to his navel. Even the giant’s sturdy bones couldn’t stop this front from happening.

The giant stopped hitting Loki with his fist, so Loki said, "He should be dead now, right?"

He got his reply soon when the sect sent a notification to tell him that he had earned 5 grade 4 rit points.

This made him say, "Five of them at once? Does this guy have a Level 5 Dao Status? Good stuff."

"How many warriors like him are on this battlefield? I should et with them, so that we can have a heart-to-heart."

So he took out his token and said to Alia, "I just killed a warrior with a Level 5 Dao Status? How many of the warriors have Level 5 Dao Status, and where are they on the battlefield?"

Alia choked as she struggled to find words to convey her shock.

When she could finally speak, she said, "What?"

So Loki had to repeat what he said. He said, "How many of the warriors have Level 5 Dao Status, and where are they on the battlefield?"

She finally said sothing useful, saying, "That’s the commander of the warriors. He is Brock. He is the only one with a Level 5 Dao Status in Earthly Battlefield E6-137."

Loki was disappointed to hear this. So he sighed and said, "What a loss."

Alia’s eyes were shining as she said, "Yes. What a loss. It is a big loss."

Then she said, "I have to go. I have a lot of work to do."

She cut off the communication after that, leaving Loki disappointed. Since nothing could be done about the lack of enemies with Level 5 Dao Status, he got to work packing up the corpses of the three enemies.

He plans to sell their corpses. But that’s only if they remain intact after he tries the new and improved Devouring Ability on them.

After he was done grabbing their corpses, he took to the air in the direction of the airship. On the way there, he took out his token to check his recent notifications and to use the spoil of the fight in the form of the reward of rit points.

As he checked his notifications, he realized that the death of the three rank 4 enemies had granted him 4, 4, and 5 grade 4 rit points. This made a total of 13 grade 4 rit points. Together with the 4 rit points from earlier, he was now in possession of 17 grade 4 rit points.

So he now has enough to buy a Level 4 Dao Status. He went ahead to buy the Dao Status after collecting the spoils of the battle.

While he was elevating his Dao Status, Alia began to behave as if she had received a great tonic. The news of the death of the commander of the Martial Body Sect filled her with great energy. She transferred all of that energy into her troops by urging them to keep fighting.

She wasn’t willing to give anyone any rest. Both are soldiers, and the enemy troops were tired, but she kept forcing them to fight.

She was like a rciless slave driver. The enemies cursed her for her ruthlessness, and so did her soldiers. But no matter what they thought about her, they had to continue fighting.

Fortunately, she was able to grasp the opportunity that the death of Brocks granted her. In just one day, 90% of the warriors of the Martial Body Sect had been killed, and every city from line 5 to line 9 had been taken.

So, after a day of fighting, the Martial Body Sect had lost 5 of the six lines that they used to control. This was a loss of 83.3% of their territory. Unfortunately for them, things could only get worse because they only had 10% of their troops to defend this territory.

The Martial Body Sect still had 90% of its troops after all of the fighting, so they still had a lot of manpower to use for a final push of the shock campaign. But Alia didn’t stop there.

She offered to cancel Loki’s contract so that he would be free to venture into the third line and kill the rank 4 warriors congregating there. She will still give Loki the opportunity to earn a natural wonder, so he took the deal, and she supported him with the remaining 90% of her troops.

With everything set, she gave the order. So after a day of fighting, the combined might of Loki and thousands of soldiers struck the rest of the forces of the Martial Body Sect.

The Martial Body Sect was nearly wiped out by this move. The warriors who didn’t die only escaped by running out of the small world through the portal at the back of the battlefield.

So, line 10 also fell under the control of the Four Directions Sect. Thus, the conquest of Earthly Battlefield E6-137 was complete.

Of course, this didn’t mark the end of fighting in this small world. The small world can’t be sealed from the Martial Body Sect or the souls from the Northern Domain won’t be able to enter the small world. So the Martial Body Sect will always be able to gain access to the small world.

Even if Alia can seal the small world, she won’t do so because the hole in the small world is how the Four Directions Sect steals souls from the Northern Domain. And as long as the hole is open, the Martial Body Sect will always be able to enter the small world in large numbers and fight for control of it.

On the other side, the Martial Body Sect can close the portal at the other end of the small world that the Four Directions Sect uses to enter the small world. So only they can seal this small world and have a definite victory.

This makes this terrible defeat of theirs a temporary thing. But Alia didn’t mind.

What she cared about was maintaining the status quo of the battlefield for as long as necessary to earn the rit points that she had worked so hard to earn.
