Chapter 241: An Angel.

So the reason why she is lacking manpower is that she doesn’t want to request more. But even though she is being miserly with manpower and is working day and night to put out fires everywhere, she is still struggling to break even on this business called Earthly Battlefield E6-137.

Fortunately, things are about to turn around for the better. The thought of this put an extra spring in her step and put her in a good mood for the rest of the day.

But just to make sure that nothing would go wrong with her plan, she told Greg not to ss with Loki. She even ordered him to protect Loki.

She also sent so rank 4 cultivators to post 419 to protect Loki. This put a lot of strain on her already shallow pool of manpower, but she considered it worth it to protect her golden goose. She even requested more manpower to make up for the deficit.

Skarg wasn’t in a good mood, though. He still couldn’t find Loki, and there was nothing he could do about it. So there was no way he could be happy.

He went to find other death cultivators to help him, but they didn’t have any materials to work with, so that was also a dead end. This made him very angry, but he could only rage impotently as there was nothing left to do.

He didn’t know that Loki was on Earthly Battlefield E6-137, but hadn’t been seen by people because the people who saw him only saw him once, and most of them were dead after the failure of Alia’s shock campaign.

He also didn’t know that Alia had lied to him. He suspected that she may be hiding sothing from him, but again, there was nothing he could do about it.

He waited for one more year for news of Loki. When that didn’t work out, he decided to give up.

He quit and left the world barrier. His departure was one carried out with imnse regret, but he also left with the intent to find the person who killed Damon.

Of course, Skarg failed to find the person who killed Damon. So he could only give up on that, too.

Later on, everyone who was looking for Loki also gave up in their pursuit. This allowed Loki to live the next few years in peace.

With Alia doing her job, no one disturbed Loki. Everything was peaceful for him until 2 years and 7 months later.

This was exactly 5 years since his awakening in this tiline. He was busy with his eyes closed as usual when he felt the world begin to shake around him.

This caused him to open his eyes in surprise and say, "Is it an earthquake? I thought earthquakes didn’t happen in the Central Domain."

But after looking around, he saw that it wasn’t only the ground that was shaking. He also felt that the air was vibrating. This caused the air to hum in a low tone.

As he was wondering what was going on, he heard people shouting outside, so he quickly stood up and went out to find out what was going on.

Just as he got outside, he saw sothing that took his breath away. He saw a pillar of light that was shining in the distance, and he saw golden animals and golden clouds ford out of golden light frolicking around the pillar of light as if they were celebrating sothing.

This made him say, "What is going on? Is an angel descending to earth?"

No one answered him because everyone was looking at this scene, and they were focusing on it with all of their attention. They were also srized by the sight, just like he was.

As they stood there gawking at the beautiful sight, the vibration in the air continued to rise until it reached a crescendo. At this point, the golden pillar faded away to reveal the figure of a woman. She was the most perfect woman he had ever seen.

She was naked, so her whole body was open for the world to see. What they saw was a body sculpted in perfection. Those who saw her body felt awe, and so were so moved that they shed tears.

No one who saw her body felt lust. This was because her body was beyond lust. Her body was beyond mortal standards of beauty and had reached a realm beyond it that couldn’t be blemished by lust.

Above her head was a golden fire. It was ford by all of the light of the golden pillar concentrating into a single point.

This fire was small, but it was very bright. It was so bright that its light ford a golden halo around her head, which made it difficult to see her face.

As they stared at her, she spread her arms wide and rotated around as if to show off her body to the world. But it was only to show off her achievent to the world.

Then she said, "Today, I ascend. Today, I beco holy. Today, I beco divine."

"From henceforth, I shall be known as Monarch Winter Blade. May my blade bring down more foes and help my divine throne ascend further."

As if on cue, voices like the ringing of bells spoke up from every corner of the world. One voice said, "May your divine throne ascend."

A second voice said, "Congratulations on your ascension, Monarch Winter Blade."

A third voice said, "Impressive."

Then a fourth voice said, "Fuck you. I hate sword cultivators. You disgust ."

A fifth voice said, "You have disturbed . So if I et you, I will kill you. You have been warned."

The mortals below couldn’t see the source of the voices, but they surely heard what the voices said because the voices were so loud that they reached every corner of the world.

She didn’t reply to anyone. Amidst all of these voices, the perfect woman with bright golden eyes and a golden fla on her rose high into the sky until she disappeared.
