Chapter 140

"KUK!" Zen coughed out a mouthful of blood, then another as the beast twisted its horn which was lodged into his body again and therefore deducting the Reaver’s HP.

And now, his HP was remaining 5. And he looked like he was currently knocking at death’s door as he was gasping for breath, vision too blurry that he could barely see the beast due to blood loss.

The wolf stepped back causing its horn to slide out of Zen’s abdon making his body twitch as it now slid down and fell to the ground with a silent thud.

{Is this it? Is he dead? Zen? Zen? Are you there? Don’t tell you died just from those small hits!}

{Zen?! Are you that fucking weak? Didn’t you tell that you were a pro gar or sothing, so how are you the one on the ground while the beast is still standing strong. Did you just want to prove everybody including right? Tell ! Thought you wanted to prove us wrong.

Prove wrong, prove Erin wrong. But here you are, sprawled on the ground and barely clinging on to life. Tch! Waste of ti, waste of energy. Absolutely useless! Useless and stupid I say! You better wake the fuck up now or else I won’t stop screaming in your ears. Wake the fuck up now ZEN!!!}

HHUHHHHH!

Zen drew in a sharp, rasp breath as he coughed continuously. His vision slowly returning back allowing him to see where he was and it turns out that he was still on his execution ground.

’Do you love ? Or do you hate ? Make up your damn mind!’ Zen thundered inwardly as he slowly pushed himself upright staggering to his feet with his side and abdon bleeding profusely but even with that, he grinned at the wolf that thought he would bleed to death and was now walking away unaware that his prey was now standing upright.

’System, activate second wind.’

[Skill: Second Wind activated.]

Instantly, a shimring white light encompassed his side and abdon and his flesh could be seen knitting at an incredible rate that in a second, his wound vanished instantly and a ding was heard in his head.

[HP restored.]

[HP: 40/70]

’That was helpful. Now, activate my Veil again.’

"Hey ugly bozo!" Zen shouted aloud causing the wolf to halt dead in its tracks and slowly turned around to see the human standing upright with a wide grin on his face.

[Are you sure you want to activate your Veil?]

"Yes." He mumbled.

[Veil Activated]

Imdiately, Zen’s eyes beca pitch black again as he glared in the beast’s path. Unfortunately for the boss, it’s veil began flickering in and out again as it glanced at its paws.

That montarily lapse was all Zen needed as he exploded forward putting his 56 agility stat points to good use as he darted forward appearing directly in front of the beast which glanced up to see a sword swung at its neck.

With a quick reaction speed, it simply leaped back but at a slower rate as Zen’s sword grazed its fur slicing part of its skin off before it fully leaped away.

"Co back here!" The Reaver thundered as he suddenly got a lot of vigour and he darted forward almost like a blur appearing beside the beast as he swung his sword forward again.

The beast was quicker too, it imdiately lifted its paws and it clashed with Zen’s sword in a reverbrating ring, the ground beneath the duo cracked imnsely as the human could be seen grinding his teeth back and forth.

"AHHHH!" He thundered in pure rage as he put more pressure in his hands and feet cracking the ground more again as he parried the paw away with sheer strength before darting forward with a thrust towards the wolf’s abdon.

Seeing this, the beast imdiately leaped a tre back avoiding the thrust. The mont its feet touched the ground, it blasted forward and in the blink of an eye, was right beside Zen, its horn shot forward ready to pierce into him.

"Not again." The Reaver coldly muttered as he pivoted on a single foot to the side avoiding the thrust that sliced through the air with a loud bang.

"Get away!" He roared as he now put all his 56 strength stats into a powerful kick that slamd into the wolf with imnse force sending the beast tumbling and crashing into the ground.

Its body caused fissures to appear on the ground as it went tumbling for a few seconds before coming to a skidding halt.

[Ti left before veil deactivates: 50 seconds.]

Zen ignored the notification as he dashed forward again, refusing to let the beast breath and he leaped into the air above the beast with his sword raised above his head as he ca crashing down.

The wolf not wanting to feel how powerful the crash was, instantly rolled over, it’s whole weight cracking the ground harder as it rolled away avoiding Zen’s crash that sliced through the ground kicking up chunks of it and a small cloud of dust.

Cloud of dust which the beast made use of by zipping into it in a blur and sending its horns slicing through the air causing Zen to instantly spin around, his sword lifted into the path of the horns which crashed into his blade.

His arms rattled from the clash causing him to grit his teeth tighter again refusing to go flying.

[Ti remain: 30 seconds.]

The notification flashed across his face distracting him and letting the beast sharply pivot to his side and then in one rapid burst, it slamd its whole body into the Reaver.

Zen stubbornly let go of his sword causing it to go into his system as he imdiately crossed his hands in front of his face absorbing the impact of the bash from the beast without moving an inch.

With a grin on his face, he turned to his system.

[Skill: Soft Touch Activated]

Instantly, the beast beca weightless and Zen grabbed a hold of its horn and with so much force, hurled the wolf into the distance.

It flew softly in the air for a few seconds until its full weight and mass was regained and it blasted backwards with so much force that it crashed into countless trees bringing the whole thing down.
