Chapter 110: A Small Fry
Who would have thought that the wife of the chairman had such a dark side.
If the allegation had been linked to Linda, their daughter, they wouldn’t be this shocked, but it was the calm and collected chairman’s wife who was accused of attempted murder.
Does it an she is not truly what she appears to be or has she been falsely accused?
This was the question seeking for answers in the minds of the staff mbers of Beazell Group but unfortunately, they had to wait for the revelations that only the future can unfold.
Linda on the other hand had always carried herself with an arrogant attitude, going about threatening and oppressing anyone that didn’t fawn on her.
Without a doubt such a person would not be excused from committing such a cri, after all they were all victims of her foul character.

In contrast to the atmosphere in the Beazell Group, there was so much laughter echoing throughout Fairview Villa, the residence of the Wyatts.
Eleanor, who was back from school with her brother, was busy narrating what happened during the competition their school had held with other schools today.
"Grandma, grandpa, do you want to know the answer the boy gave after the host asked what a screwdriver was?"
"Tell us dear, what was his answer?" Stacy asked, as she gazed adorably at her granddaughter.
Eleanor burst out in a bout of laughter just by thinking about the response the other boy gave.
Soon everyone joined in her infectious laughter.
Elvis, who wasn’t in Eleanor’s group but was separated into another group and sent to another hall during the competition also wanted to know what hilarious thing happened in Eleanor’s hall.
"Co on Eleanor, don’t keep us waiting, tell us what his answer was," he urged.
Sohow he felt that his sister was so multi-talented that she should also take up a career in storytelling in addition to acting. Her ability to build suspense was so impressive.
"He said...,’’ began Eleanor, giggling as she spoke, "he said, a screwdriver is a person that drives school children... hahaahahah."
"Ha ha ha ha, he actually thought they ant S-C-H-O-O-L instead of S-C-R-E-W, can you imagine," laughed Elvis.
"It is actually a tricky word. If one does not listen carefully the word might be misinterpreted," Kathleen said.
"Your mother is absolutely correct," agreed their grandfather. "I think that was why the host asked that question. He wanted to test the listening abilities of the children."
"Absolutely," their grandmother added. "That is why it is good to always pay attention and not be in a hurry to say or do sothing without proper understanding of that thing."
"I believe my darling Eleanor here knows what a screwdriver is, right ?
"Of course, I do," Eleanor answered without much ado.
"A screwdriver is a tool that is used in turning screws. I’ve even seen my brother using it several tis to fix sothing when he is working on his computer. And when I asked him once, he told
it was a screwdriver."
Elvis nodded in satisfaction, "My sister is indeed very smart," he praised, a proud smile lit up his handso baby face.
As playful as she was, she never forgets anything even if it is just once she gets to see or hear about it, it sticks to her mory.
"Wow! I’m so proud of my very very smart children. They are the best," Director Wyatt applauded cheerfully as he ruffled their hair.
Although Elvis didn’t like people ssing up his hair, his mother, uncle Jason and his grandparents were people he couldn’t object to, so he could only smile in response to return his grandfather’s love.
The butler’s announcent briefly interrupted the warm atmosphere of the family.
"Ms Moore is here Ma’am, her car just pulled up in the driveway."
"Show her in at once," Kathleen replied, a smile still hovering on her face. "And thank you, Mr Duncan."
"My pleasure," he bowed before heading outside.
Soon after he left, Cheryl was ushered into the house and she t the lively atmosphere which she imdiately blended into.
"Good evening Uncle, good evening Aunt, how do you do today?"
"We are doing great my dear," responded Stacy, her smile elegant and welcoming.
Director Wyatt on the other hand did not look too happy as he had a disapproving look.
"When will you stop addressing us as Aunt and Uncle? I’ve told you several tis to change your form of address. Or don’t you know you are already a part of this family?"
"She is only waiting for the day she will be all dressed in white," Kathleen chuckled while mimicking a wedding match. "...before taking you as her family," she finished.
"This is also very good for ," she added mischievously.
"How do you an?" Stacy looked confused, unable to catch on with Kathleen’s thoughts.
"I am not ready to share your love with her yet, who knows if she will even steal all the love leaving nothing for , considering her abilities."
"You are so shaless," Cheryl shook with laughter at Kathleen’s hilarious words.
"I didn’t know you had debuted and even taken up the role of a jealous housewife," Cheryl teased.
"Talking of abilities, I want to say a big congratulations to you," she added and gave Kathleen a high five.
Kathleen raised a brow as she slapped her palm against Cheryl’s, "for...?"
"You finally apprehended the big fish," she declared, beaming with smiles as she reached out to hold Kathleen in a hug.
"What big fish?" Kathleen’s lip curled up in disdain. "A fry you ant to say."
"She is indeed a fry as she was not even worth a mont’s thought," Cheryl nodded.
"I’m positive the Beazell group will already be boiling by now," Kathleen said..
"From an insider, I heard they had an ergency eting of all the stakeholders today and the tension is extrely high," Director Wyatt said from the side.
A glint flashed in Kathleen’s eyes."They have not seen anything yet, by the ti we finish with them, they will not know how they died."
