I shouted at the top of my lungs and commanded all the won,
"Get inside the truck! Now! No matter what happens—
Don't co out!"
I knew it. This man was dangerous.
He wasn't just anyone—he was an Arcana.
And sothing about his presence... it sent chills down my spine.
This confrontation... it wasn't going to end well, no matter how it played out.
Imdiately, I gripped my tarot card tightly, bracing myself.
Step by step, I began to approach him, my eyes struggling to adjust to the shadows and the silhouette standing before .
And then—
He threw sothing at .
A wet, heavy thud hit the ground near my feet.
The mont I looked down, my body froze. My breath caught in my throat. My blood ran cold.
It was the severed head of Pastor Jun.
The very man I had co here to eliminate with my own hands.
And then... the man before spoke.
"Isn't this the one you ca for, The Fool?"
"Well, consider it my gift to you—
for our first official eting."
He stepped into the light.
"I am the Moon Arcana."
And when I finally saw his face clearly...
It was Kevin.
The sa man I had t... on that bus.
"Hmm... let's see what's so special about you, The Fool,"
Kevin said as he slowly walked forward, his voice laced with curiosity and nace.
"Judging from the pile of corpses inside the venue—
you slaughtered them without a shred of rcy."
"How'd you do it, huh?"
"What kind of ability do you have?"
His eyes burned into , but I remained calm, composed, my expression unreadable.
Inside, though, my senses were sharp—locked in and ready for whatever might happen next.
I still didn't fully understand what ability he possessed...
But if I recalled the bus hijacking incident correctly, he had moved with inhuman speed—
so fast I couldn't even see it.
He was dangerous. No doubt.
I couldn't afford to rush in blindly.
I needed to observe him carefully first—study his movents, his body language.
One wrong move, and he'd find a way to take down before I even had the chance to activate my ability.
And just like that—he vanished from my sight.
In the blink of an eye, he was gone.
Then I heard it...
A whisper—chilling and too close.
"Let's see what's behind that mask of yours, The Fool."
Kevin's voice ca from behind .
He tried to grab the mask from my face, to reveal my identity.
But thank God for my reflexes—I reached up just in ti, gripping the mask and pulling back.
I nearly caught his hand... almost—
But he slipped away with inhuman speed, retreating before I could react.
"Hahaha... so you really don't want anyone to know who you are, huh?"
"Don't worry... I'll find out eventually."
Kevin smirked from a distance, now keeping a safer space between us.
In my mind, I knew what this ant—
He was testing .
He still didn't know what kind of ability I had, and that gave an edge.
As long as he remained unsure...
He wouldn't dare rush in recklessly.
I decided to bluff—
To take advantage of the fact that Kevin still didn't fully understand my ability.
"Go ahead," I warned him coldly. "Try and touch again. You'll find out exactly what kind of power I have."
I stood tall, keeping my voice sharp, calculated, and believable.
"Do you see all those corpses piled up inside the venue?" I added, my eyes locked onto his.
"Every single one of them tried to hurt ."
"Look at them now—dead, lying in their own filth."
It was a lie, of course.
But I made sure not a single muscle in my face twitched.
I wanted him to second-guess...
To hesitate.
And he did.
I could see it—the flicker of doubt in his expression, the montary pause in his stance.
But then he moved again—reaching behind his back.
And just like that...
He pulled out a gun.
Before anything else could happen—
Before he could even raise that gun—
I lost my composure.
Panic surged in my chest, and without thinking, I activated one of my abilities:
Crow's Count: 1
Effect: You can control anyone's mind for three minutes, but you must always carry this card.
My first instinct—
I was going to force him to turn that gun on himself.
Unjust, maybe. But I had no ti. No options left.
But just as I opened my mouth to speak the command—
A flood of security forces and ard police arrived at the edge of the venue.
I was cornered.
But then I rembered...
My ability was still active on Kevin.
I seized the chance.
"You will let escape," I ordered him sharply.
"You will protect for one minute—until I get this truck far away from here."
Kevin's body obeyed.
No hesitation. No resistance.
I climbed into the truck, slamd the door shut, and started the engine.
No ti for second guesses.
I floored it.
I didn't look back—not even once.
All I could hear behind were the screams.
Screams of chaos...
Screams of n being slaughtered.
And in that blood-drenched madness...
Kevin, the Moon Arcana, stood—
A monster unleashed by my command.
