Could this be described as the pain felt from his blood flowing in reverse? No, why would his blood flow reserve, in the first place? It sure felt like all his bones had been shattered and his flesh exploited into bits. The sensation of his shoulder muscles being shredded and torn into pieces was torture that could not be put into re words.
What made him feel even more confused was that he could not feel anything in either of his arms the mont the Dragontale Twin Sabers collided with the Divine King's sword.
'Another effect of a Divine Blessing, or multiple at once!' Zayn realized. He nodded his head inwardly in understanding and smiled lightly. The more Divine Blessings were activated at the sa ti, the bigger the toll on the Divine King's body.
When his vision reverted back to unclouded vision, he saw the Divine King's body and his burst skin. Blood covered the Divine King's entire body. It even oozed out of his emotionless eyes that stared down at him
'A Marionette through and through…'
Zayn couldn't move his arms, no…it was more like they didn't even exist in the first place. He even ended up thinking that his arms must have been ripped off from the force of their collision.
However, that was just an illusion, and Zayn knew that. Yet, instead of being able to do sothing against the illusion, Zayn was caught deep inside.
Only now did he notice that the surroundings had beco deadly silent as well. Everything was eerily quiet as if he was underwater. Not even the crackling of the searing flas or the noise of breaking icicles reached his ears.
Did he turn deaf under the influence of another Divine Blessing? For a mont, he even wondered if he died, but that was not it. Sothing was amiss.
The pain in his arms returned…and the dead couldn't feel pain. If he was really dead or his arms had been ripped off, he wouldn't be feeling them anymore. However, that was exactly the case. He could feel them once again!

His mind sobered up and his eyes shot wide open.
The first thing he saw when his view cleared up was a huge longsword. It was so close that it nearly touched his eyeballs. He could even pick up on the subtle tremors of the blade.
His arms were shaking heavily, and the blades of the Dragontale Twin Sabers were pressed against the longsword, stopping it from falling any further.
Zayn's expression distorted. For a mont he was relieved, only for trendous anger to spread through his entire being.
'He out-witted !!'
The first clash hasn't ended yet. The distance between him and the Divine King was close enough and Zayn failed to understand the wide variety of powers that impacted on him simultaneously.
It was a sudden intrusion, but the Divine King believed that he was stronger than Zayn from their first clash. And so, the hands grabbing the longsword issued a squeezing noise as he increased his strength. Just a little bit, a little bit more was all it would take to trample on the Spiritmancer….
Zayn groaned as the pressure increased. The Divine King's body ruptured in various spots all over his body to activate more Divine Blessings at the sa ti, but it was possible to inch closer to Zayn's head.
The sensation of the cold blade pressing against his forehead could be felt by Zayn now. Blood trickled down and pooled around his eyes. His sight reddened, and thoughts of giving up flashed through his mind.
But why was he having such thoughts, in the first place? Zayn was not soone who gave up easily…
The thoughts of giving up, telling him that it was impossible to win against the Divine King changed the mont he realized that another Divine Blessing had been activated. The thoughts changed to a wish, telling him to never give up.
His eyes shot wide open and regained their clarity as all thoughts of giving up, and all other negative thoughts were brandished from his mind.
He took a deep breath and summoned every little bit of strength and circulated every drop of soul energy throughout his body.
New power he had never felt before gushed up from deep within himself. The overwhelming and boiling-hot energy spread through his entire being like a food before it concentrated on his arms. The Dragontale Twin Sabers began to buzz strangely.
His face turned red, and all his muscles ballooned, while his veins bulged almost to the point of bursting apart.
Zayn gritted his teeth and slowly raised his arms higher.
It was at this mont when Zayn finally realized that he could defeat the Divine King. He slowly forced up the Divine King's sword.
Despite several Divine Blessings enhancing the Divine King's strength and endurance, Zayn's power exceeded his right at this mont.
Faced against the tidal waves of power that surged out of Zayn, growing stronger with each wave, the Divine King's eyes widened, and panic was the first emotion they reflected after centuries of living a life as the Gods' marionette.
The Divine King took several steps back, and he retreated.
'It's not or never…'
As soon as this thought flashed through his mind, Zayn moved. He used the energy that was already circulating through his body to erupt once and for all.
In the next mont, a single line of glacier-blue blades crossed the air, and the head of the Divine King flung through the air.
The longsword fell helplessly to the ground, and the widened eyes of the Divine King were the last thing that entered Zayn's view before the battle ended.
The Divine King's body burst apart as if it had endured powers that were too potent for a mortal being to hold; because that was exactly what had happened.
Looking down at the crumbling body of the Divine King, Zayn smiled faintly.
"Looks like it is finally over… "
