"Kill them all!" Milfa shouted while observing the battle. They were able to overwhelm the opponents, but for so reason, Milfa felt sothing was off.
There was still no ancient demon in sight even though they had killed close to a hundred thousand demons in this war.
’Do the demons really plan to sacrifice all these demons just to tire us out?’ Milfa didn’t want to believe this possibility, but if this was true, the main army of the demons would be several tis larger. That was the only possible reason.
Still, she couldn’t imagine how the demon kings could gather that many demons in such a short period.
However, it looked like the situation didn’t go to the worst possible scenario.
When she was observing the battlefield, she suddenly noticed a powerful energy eruption among the demons.
"!!!" People were surprised by the pressure emitted by this eruption.
"What is this?"
"An ancient demon?"
"So powerful..."
"Hurry up and raise our defenses."
The soldiers panicked. Even if they were from the Demon Banner Army, there weren’t any opportunities to clash with an ancient demon.
In fact, even when so of them followed Oscar to help Noel attack the demon king’s base, they could only see the fight between spirit transcendences, not the ancient demons.
So, there was no way for them to respond properly to such a powerful attack.
Milfa knew this problem. Hence, she leaped into the air and waved her hand. A cross light flew toward the incoming beam and split it into four so that the beam wouldn’t touch the airships.
"Ohh!"
"We are saved."
"Hooray!"
"Is that truly the power of the Demon Adjudicator Captain?"
"Isn’t she as strong as Commander Oscar?"
"Don’t tell , the one who will beco the next commander is her?"
People were confused, surprised, and curious. They never heard much about Milfa other than the fact that she was the one overseeing everything within the Demon Banner Army.
Still, her strength was real in front of everyone’s eyes. They knew Milfa had surpassed all other captains.
They were curious as to why they had never heard about this in the first place. Then again, the appearance of spirit transcendence was supposed to be rare until recently.
They didn’t know that Noel was the one allowing spirit transcendence rank experts to appear one after another.
Nevertheless, Milfa could face an ancient demon. This was the most important thing.
Milfa raised her hand and shouted, "All airships. Continue with the bombardnt. I don’t care if it accidentally hits , just kill them all."
No one disobeyed Milfa’s order. They imdiately increased the intensity of their attacks. Even so soldiers were helping in order to get an advantage.
However, the scale of this invasion was much worse than Milfa originally thought.
...
In the Ardagan family, Noel was surprised by the sudden appearance of Silvester.
"Silvester? Why are you here?" Noel didn’t expect Silvester to be here. After all, he was his parents’ follower.
Silvester’s expression turned solemn. "There are several ancient demons in sight. They’re coming with the second wave.
"I’m afraid that the scale of the second wave is twice as big as the first wave."
"!!!" Noel’s body shook. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, sir." Silvester nodded without hesitation. "We haven’t figured out the number of ancient demons, but we are sure this is the main attack."
Noel fell silent for a mont before ordering, "We will make a small adjustnt. Tell Rui to pull back with 10 airships. I’ll leave the rest there. Ask Incetta to take charge of the operation."
Elaine nodded. "Understood. I’ll relay your order."
Noel looked at the map again. If this were truly the main attack, the situation was much grimr than he originally thought. "Silvester. I need you to go to all battlefields, not just here but also in other kingdoms. I’ll lend you a speedy airship for the trip. I need to know their number as well as the ancient demons."
Silvester thought for a mont. In the end, he wasn’t Noel’s direct subordinate.
Still, it looked like he had co here after receiving several instructions. Ultimately, he accepted the order. "I understand. I’ll follow your arrangent."
"Thanks." Noel nodded with a serious expression.
"In that case, I’ll head out imdiately." Silvester took his leave.
Noel then turned to Elaine.
"Are you worried about your family?"
Elaine smiled wryly. "If you ask that question, I’d be lying if I said I am not worried. However, before the war, I had a conversation with my family. They want to win this war and don’t want to beco cowards.
"They’d rather die than beco a coward. That’s why I want to trust them. I believe they will survive.
"And to make sure that the overall war is won by us, I’ll stay by your side. I promise I won’t get distracted."
Noel smiled. It looked like Elaine had made her resolve.
"In that case, I’ll have to rely on you and Rose. Since the second wave, which is most likely the main attack, has co, it will be just a matter of ti before I fight the demon kings.
"At that ti, I might have to hand over the command to you and Rose. I want both of you to maintain the balance."
"Understood." Elaine nodded.
Noel wondered whether his parents were going to co or not. At the sa ti, it might be better if they didn’t co yet.
"Send a direct letter to the royal family. Tell them that the main attack has arrived."
"Should we give them the number of ancient demons?"
"Not yet. I just want them to be vigilant. I’ll be busy in the north, so the west should be taken care of by them."
Elaine nodded and imdiately executed the order.
On the other hand, Noel pinched the bridge of his nose.
He got the report from Silvester, but there was no way the ancient demons only appeared here.
They would definitely appear everywhere. In other words, all sides would soon be besieged by all these demons.
"I have to get Conrad, Layla, and the Demon Banner Army for this."
