"!!!" Noel raised his eyebrows. "A clone organization? Are they trying to make the sa organization? Who will be the ultimate leader? I don't think the third prince will remain silent and just take orders from the Supre Devil."
"Unfortunately, I don't know much about it. Maybe there's a record about it in the headquarters." Laufey shook his head helplessly. "However, his strength can't be underestimated anymore. He is already as powerful as the royal family if they wish to fight. But if they combine their power…"
"Yeah. We'll be in trouble, especially since Anna is not here right now. Besides, the only way for us to win is to eliminate all of them…" Noel fell into deep thought.
"Although I don't know much about the third prince, I get the gist of how they operate. Most of the ti, the third prince will just remain silent and wait for orders. That's not because he was willing to obey us but because he wanted to stay out of the spotlight to build up his strength.
"Still, he couldn't escape our eyes as we managed to track his progress most of the ti. For now, he won't do anything, especially with how big our loss is. The third prince will prioritize getting separated from the organization and regaining his full control over his own organization.
"But after that, we don't know what he will do," explained Laufey.
The crown prince should know that the Ardagan family got stronger over ti, so there was no way he would just leave them alone. Hence, Noel knew the third prince would do sothing against them to halt their progress or even weaken them.
What he couldn't afford was another loss like Old Jade, so he had to be extra careful.
Noel asked, "Since we know their hideout, what about other traps or movent of the demons? I don't think they will just leave their base empty."
"That is indeed true, but at the sa ti, the Supre Devil doesn't like the idea of sending unnecessary force that will just die needlessly. So, I think it should be pretty safe. As long as we remain careful, that is."
Noel nodded. "All right. I will coordinate with Commander Oscar after this. Is there anything else you want to say other than those three? It doesn't need to be important."
Laufey recounted everything carefully before raising two fingers. "There are two, actually. The first one is regarding the connection the Supre Devil has with the nobles. I have a copy of them, but I can directly tell you about it."
Noel smirked as if he had an evil plan. "For now, write it down on a paper. If they end up burning this record, we will put this one inside their base."
"Ah!" Laufey was able to see through his plan almost instantly. It was a terrifying plan. "The Demon Banner Army will find out about it, and they will suspect them. We might be able to purge so of them by utilizing the Demon Banner Army."
"Correct. But it's even better if we have any proof that can show their connection. This way, even the kingdom won't be able to stop Commander Oscar."
"That's indeed true. I do have several proofs, but I'm not sure if they're safe or not. I put this one in a not-so-safe location, so they might know about it and burn it."
Noel shrugged. "We can check whether it's fine or not once we reach there."
"Understood." Laufey paused for a mont before continuing to the second topic. "The other one is regarding sothing that helped maintain my sanity against the demon that kept devouring my mind."
"!!!" Noel crossed his arms. "Now that I think about it, what's the process of becoming a demonic human?"
"The process is rather simple. Just get a demon in its original form and swallow it. The demon will take root in our heart and destroy our spirit seal so that it can bring in its own demonic energy.
"The process is just like that. And you successfully beco a demonic human. This also ans that demonic humans don't have elents like spirits do. However, there's nothing the spirit can't do once the spirit seal has been established, so…"
Noel frowned. "Well, the spirit can't really breach their own contract. The least they can do is stop talking with their host if the host has gone on the wrong path. However, the host is still more than capable of utilizing their power."
"Yes. That's why those with useful elents, like Josephine, will keep their elent instead of becoming a demonic human.
"At the sa ti, the demonic human is also a new path for them. The Supre Devil has been given a manual to utilize the demonic energy. It can rival spiritual energy, he said."
Noel let out a long sigh. "This is getting annoying. They will get stronger and stronger as more ti passes."
"Yes." Laufey was disappointed in himself because he couldn't do much about this matter.
"Anyway, what about the thing that helped you earlier?"
"Ah, that! Actually, I found a corpse inside the base. It was accidental, and I thought nothing much about it, but I was surprised when it actually suppressed the power of demons when I just stayed beside that corpse.
"Of course, one's own will is also a factor to consider, along with their achievent in their power, but basically, if you don't resist at all, you will be possessed right away.
"If you resist, they won't know about it. But eventually, you will still be possessed because it's not sothing that can be stopped. I have never thought your power could erase the trace of the demon from inside my body and allow to regain my spirit."
Noel waved his hand. "It's not a big deal. I found that thod a long ti ago, not for this reason, but we're lucky that it's actually a possible thod."
"It doesn't matter. That ability has saved my life…" Laufey smiled, glancing at the orange sky. Now that his sacrifice was over, he didn't know what he was supposed to do next. After all, people wanted him dead if they knew he was still alive.
Noticing his expression, Noel chose to bring it up as well. "Uncle. Now that other matters have been settled, why don't we talk about your future plan? Uncle… what do you want to do next?"
