"…" Noel couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows, realizing that the Supre Devil's attack this ti was to expose his trump card. In other words, the spirit transcendence rank experts under him. "To think you would attack here for such a ridiculous reason... In that case, you can remain here forever!"
Noel leaped toward him. He swung his sword close to the Supre Devil in order to stop him from completing his attack, but the Supre Devil simply jumped back to gain a bit of distance and hit him away.
On the other hand, Alexander's hands turned into claws as his eyes turned bloodshot like that of a beast.
Alexander punched Rui, as the latter used the sa attack to compare their strength.

Alexander could only grit his teeth, realizing sothing had gone wrong. He hurriedly leaped away instead of taking her head-on.
"Where do you think you're going?" Rui pulled both hands to the right side as her fingers imitated a pair of jaws and their sharp teeth. The energy around her hands turned into a dragon this ti.
Alexander's nails were extended with his spiritual energy, turning into a claw. He slashed the dragon with his claw, but the dragon simply roared, refusing to be cut.
Their energy clashed for a few seconds before they exploded, pushing both of them back.
Noel had been observing the whole thing, especially the Supre Devil's reaction. "As expected, it looked like you knew about her."
"!!!" The Supre Devil's heart skipped a beat. He didn't realize he had given away so much information to Noel.
Just from the reaction alone, he realized he could narrow down the potential nas of the Supre Devil. Despite him having hidden himself from Ardagan, he still couldn't hide from Noel's eyes.
"…" The Supre Devil could play dumb, but it didn't seem to be worth it. He shouted, "Alexander. Watch out. That girl is using the Divine Beast Martial Arts, an ancient martial art that was developed by a martial prodigy a thousand years ago."
That shout had shown everything. It was enough for Noel to know that this person was indeed soone from a thousand years ago. Even if he learned a lot of things from books or history, there was no way he could recognize Rui's martial arts, considering Ihui specifically went to another land away from them. Hence, there was close to no record of this martial art.
The only ones who knew about this were either the people who fought alongside Ihui back then or the demon king himself.
However, based on his current condition, it was clear that this person was actually the traitor that caused the downfall of Margaretha in the past.
Of course, he didn't know whether the traitor was actually a demon king or not, because there was not much information about it. In the end, the demons could possess a human, so there was a chance he was true.
Hence, Noel said, "You are indeed related to our ancestors. However, this is the end for you. You won't escape this ti. Even if I'm weaker than you, I can still hold you long enough until your body can't take it anymore. I will destroy that mask of yours!
"You're going to pay for everything you did one thousand years ago!" Noel's expression darkened.
Both Alexander and Rui could feel the chills down their spines. This was the first ti Noel looked so angry. At first, Alexander thought the Supre Devil was overestimating Noel, but it turned out he was the one underestimating him.
Despite being threatened, the Supre Devil smirked. "Do you think I'm here to fight you just to confirm your trump card?"
As he said those words, a powerful burst of energy suddenly occurred from Golden Dawn City's direction.
"!!!" Noel glanced to the side with his eyes wide open. Without hesitation, Noel shouted, "Rui. Retreat!"
Noel hurriedly leaped toward the city, but the Supre Devil simply caught up to him and struck him, stopping Noel.
"Kh." Noel gritted his teeth.
"Where are you going? Do you think I can allow you to go back just like this?"
"You bastard." Noel's killing intent soared.
The Supre Devil's smile simply beca wider, as if he was enjoying Noel's reaction. "You have conveniently gathered all those people for . Your desire to understand that power has ended up backfiring, and that's what's going to kill your people!"
The Supre Devil laughed out loud. With Noel and Rui stopped here, Laufey and Josephine could kill those people. Even if there was Howard inside that city, Laufey was enough to stop them while Josephine could kill all the people and etch this city as a city of tragedy in history.
"You are a fool. Had you not sent all the powerful people under you, such as Dimitri or that spear user, you wouldn't have suffered this kind of attack. This is the end of your foolishness. Rember that your recklessness is the one that destroys you."
Anna was probably his biggest trump card. But if Anna were here, the Supre Devil could simply tell the Third Prince to stop Anna while letting the rest strike the city.
Of course, even if Dimitri, Incetta, and Howard remained in the city, Josephine could simply make several portals and send forth the organization mbers as well as the demons to massacre the people. Even with all those talented knights, Noel couldn't stop it until it was too late.
It was a perfect plan, except Noel had another trump card he didn't know about.
