"Why do you let the spiritual energy control you, its master?"
"!!!"
Abel was shaken by that question. The spiritual energy controlled him? That was right. The spiritual energy was just a tool for him to beco stronger. Just like his spear or other weapons, it was a tool he should master.
Yet Noel said he let the spiritual energy control him. It was like a wake-up call for him.
This kind of burst was powerful, but he had no way of controlling it. The mont he realized this truth, he rembered Noel's question earlier.
"Did you see it?"
It was a simple question, but it might be due to his ego that he couldn't see what Noel was trying to show.
That simple swing might look simple, but it showed the pinnacle of control of spiritual energy.
It was sturdy like a mountain but explosive like the magma inside it. However, because of his full control, the spiritual energy looked stable and firm.
Even though it looked like a simple swing, it carried all the spiritual energy that a spirit master could muster at a ti. That was why Abel was overpowered so easily earlier.
In addition, with Abel's explosive power, his stance beca unstable, which made it easier for him to be taken down.
Still, Noel thought that Abel had enough talent to beco strong. Although it only showed 'B,' it was amazing for him to reach this level. In fact, Noel personally wondered why it was B instead of A.
Nevertheless, if Abel could realize his full potential, it wouldn't be a problem for him to reach a spirit grandmaster.
Then again, he didn't seem to have any spirits backing him. There was a chance that the spirit never woke up, which resulted in his low talent. At the sa ti, his talent in spearmanship and combat was top-notch.
After listening to Noel, Abel paused for a second. His blazing energy gradually cald down. It was still like a blaze, but it was much firr and more stable.
Although he hadn't fully mastered it yet, he had a certain degree of skill in controlling this spiritual energy.
He switched his stance and lowered his spear. The blazing energy then gradually thinned out around his body. It flowed and gathered around his hands, feet, and the tip of his spear.
His expression had changed as well. A smile appeared on his face. "Here I co, my lord."
Noel nodded. "I like your expression now. So, co!"
Ophelia widened her eyes in shock. She couldn't believe what she had witnessed.
The mont Abel leaped forth, instead of the explosive stomp that cracked the ground, his feet only left behind a small trail of his boots. Yet the speed was actually 30% faster than earlier.
Even Noel had to swing his sword faster. They recreated the first clash they had.
Bam!
"Kh…" Abel gritted his teeth, but it soon turned into a smile. His body might be lowered, but he didn't fall to his knees at this ti.
He then lifted up Noel's sword and struck him multiple tis. On the other hand, Noel repelled his attack again and again, albeit he didn't manage to push the spear so far that it would disrupt Abel's stable form.
As a result, the clash looked even more solid and exciting for the normal people.
But for those who could see through the true nature of the battle, they were dumbstruck. With just a simple piece of advice, Abel had grown much stronger. And it did seem he could still refine the new power further. At this rate, it wouldn't be weird for him to beco a spirit grandmaster as soon as he had enough spiritual energy.
In just a single sparring, Noel was able to develop Abel to this degree. They finally understood why this chance was so precious. They couldn't help but laugh at the people who didn't take advantage of this opportunity.
They would definitely fight Noel and get even stronger. For Noel, this fight served as a show so that the training would proceed smoothly.
"What you have achieved is amazing, but sotis, it's good to retrace your steps and grow your foundation. Once you're able to master everything you have in your repertoire, you will grow stronger just fine.
"It doesn't seem like you are rushing, so will you continue to beco stronger? Or will you fall one more ti? What will you show , Captain of 3rd squad, Abel?"
"I will not disappoint you, my lord." Abel grinned.
"Is that so? Let's end this fight then. To be able to realize what I'm trying to show, I will give you sothing to ponder." Noel struck his spear and knocked it back before kicking him again.
Once there was a distance, Noel raised his sword. From the energy on his sword, it didn't look anything special.
But the mont he swung it down, the spiritual energy erupted like a raging ocean wave and rose up. It ran through the ground and reached Abel.
"!!!" Abel put his spear forward, trying to stop it. But this attack was so powerful that it pushed him back to the corner of the field.
"Raaaaa!" Abel shouted, unleashing everything he had to stop the attack.
"Ha… Ha…" He succeeded, albeit it tired him out. He never thought that an attack could beco that fierce. It looked stable and firm at first, but when it left Noel's sword, it turned to sothing like his energy.
Abel looked at Noel in shock. He wanted to ponder it right away, but there was sothing he should do before it.
Abel fell to one knee while lowering his head. "Thank you very much for your guidance, my lord. I won't disappoint you."
"Uoohhhh!" The citizens cheered. The soldiers couldn't help but do the sa. More importantly, they were excited and couldn't wait for their turn.
Noel was satisfied with the first fighter, but it seed the other party couldn't wait for that long. Noel could feel an ominous energy from afar.
"!!!" Noel turned around and lifted up his body with his spiritual energy.
