Seeing a confident smile appearing on Tristan's face, the Fire Lord frowned. "Why are you smiling? Do you understand what you've done is disregarding imperial law?"
"Because I don't know what you're talking about." Tristan shrugged. "If you are going to accuse , you should have checked my background first."
"You're nothing but a slave that has been smuggled into the Muivell Kingdom by Noel Ardagan!" The marquis didn't know where Tristan got his confidence. Sothing must be wrong.
When Tristan was about to release his card, Howard suddenly knocked on the door. "Sir. This is Howard. I have sothing important to report."
"Co in. What is it?" Tristan replied, not caring about these two people.
"You…" The Fire Lord gritted his teeth. However, he was soon stunned when Howard dragged the Light Lord, who was supposed to be trying to sabotage the rune technology, inside.
His condition was awful. His body was covered in wounds, and the energy coming from him was so weak that it was clear he was already half-dead.
"You bastard. What have you done to the envoy of the Tower Association? Are you trying to have an open war against the Tower Association?" The Fire Lord roared.
The marquis nodded in agreent. "We can't disregard the contribution of the Tower Association to this kingdom. Unless the Ardagan family has a proper explanation, we will consider this as the Ardagan family trying to challenge the Tower Association. The Muivell Kingdom will not tolerate such a barbaric thing."
Tristan knew that Howard wouldn't bring this person here if he didn't do any fault. Besides, there was no one who could fight the Light Lord without anyone noticing.
Hence, there must be sothing going on. And it would be in the favor of the Ardagan family.
Tristan carefully thought about it before asking, "What happened, Howard? Why would the Tower Association's envoy get beaten up in our territory?"

"Sir. The guards from the Water Storage facility are calling you. There seems to be sothing happening in the facility."
"Hmm?" Howard's heart skipped a beat, thinking soone must have done sothing bad. This facility was extrely important for the Ardagan family, so they couldn't afford anyone from ssing with her.
Without hesitation, Howard rushed to the facility, trying to find out what had happened.
He was shocked when he saw the Light Lord half-dead.
"What's going on?" Howard asked. He didn't know who beat the Light Lord, but this wasn't sothing they could brush off as incidents.
Unfortunately, no one could actually provide an explanation.
Howard inspected the area, including the Light Lord's body carefully, before noticing there was a small note in the Light Lord's pocket. It was deliberately hidden from soone outside.
This must be the culprit. However, his face soon imdiately changed the mont he read the content.
'Infiltration. Beat up. Bla the Rune.'
"!!!" Howard widened his eyes in shock. He looked around and realized there were so runes that had been destroyed.
It looked like soone noticed the Light Lord's movent and beat him up. This was an off-limit area in the water storage facility and the Light Lord had no authority to enter this area. Hence, the Light Lord had broken the rule first.
And the culprit must want to use this fact to shift the bla to the Light Lord and use it to pressure those people.
'Now that I think about it, the Lord has told not to worry about protection because there is already a guardian deity protecting this city. He doesn't tell other things.
