Once a day—of course, that wasn’t a problem.
Liam smiled to himself.
Any property he bought would effectively multiply the value of his money tenfold.
The System didn’t say he couldn’t sell it again.
Unfortunately, it seed to only apply to properties built on land—perhaps including factories, hotels, or shops—but not stocks.
And Liam was interested in buying that gym.
3 million dollars. As long as he didn’t try to negotiate the price down, would the company that owned the gym really refuse?
And he would only need to pay 300 thousand dollars.
However, for an asset of that scale, it would be better if he purchased it under a company’s na.
"Yingyue, actually I want to start an investnt company, but that might be too complicated, so it’s better to just buy an empty investnt company instead. Can you help ?" Liam said.
Qian Yingyue was quite surprised when she heard that.
"What are you going to do with the company?" she asked.
"Buy so properties..." Liam replied with a faint smile.
Qian Yingyue froze upon hearing that, wondering what kind of properties he intended to buy.
If they were comrcial properties, nothing in this city would be cheap.
"Are you really sure?" she asked again.
She was actually curious about how much money Liam really had.
"I don’t look like I’m joking, do I?" Liam chuckled.
"How about you work for instead?" he added.
Qian Yingyue froze when she heard that.
She seed to think deeply.
"It’s very easy to buy an empty company. There are many offered online. The price ranges from 500 to 6,000 dollars, depending on its age. The more expensive ones are companies that have previously operated," she said, not directly answering the job offer.
"A new one is fine. I don’t need a reputation," Liam replied.
After hearing that, Qian Yingyue nodded and took out her phone.
"Look, is there anything that interests you?" she said, showing him her screen.
(X City Capital LLC)
(Creshoint Investnt LLC)
(Vertex Capital LLC)
It was a list of registered but inactive investnt companies.
"They belong to my friend at the office," Qian Yingyue said.
"X City Capital LLC..." Liam imdiately chose.
As a resident of City X, he was happy to use that na.
"That one is 1,000 dollars," Qian Yingyue replied.
"No problem."
"Alright, I’ll call her." Qian Yingyue nodded and called the woman.
"Elsa, can you co to our usual McDonald’s? Soone wants to buy your X City Capital LLC. It will definitely be purchased, so bring all the docunts," she said once the call was answered.
After that, she ended the call without waiting for a reply.
"Let’s wait," she said.
"Yeah..." Liam wasn’t in a hurry.
He finished his al completely.
An old sedan arrived, and a woman in her 30s stepped out. She had curly black hair and wore large glasses, carrying a stack of docunts, including a bank book.
She was likely Elsa, as Qian Yingyue imdiately waved at her.
The woman quickly approached them.
"Yingyue, is it him?" she asked, quite surprised that the person with Qian Yingyue was still a young man.
"Yes..." Qian Yingyue nodded.
At the sa ti, Liam took out ten 100-dollar bills.
"Here’s the money," he said.
He wasn’t interested in small talk—he just wanted everything transferred to his na.
"Please fill in the details here..." the woman responded quickly after seeing the 1,000 dollars.
Filling out docunts, signing the asset transfer, then going to the city office to update ownership, followed by the bank to update the company account holder.
Everything was quite easy and fast, requiring only a small fee.
After everything was done, Liam returned to the university with Qian Yingyue.
She was still curious and occasionally glanced at Liam.
When they arrived at the university, Liam didn’t get out of the car.
"Where are you going?" Qian Yingyue asked.
"Sowhere..." Liam replied with a mysterious expression.
He wasn’t sure how Qian Yingyue would react if she knew he wanted to buy the gym her company was targeting.
Maybe she wouldn’t mind since anyone had the right to be a buyer—but if he said it, she would definitely be shocked, considering the gym was worth at least 3 million dollars.
After Qian Yingyue got out of the car, Liam drove off again.
He could see her still watching his car with a questioning expression.
When he returned to the gym, there were already quite a few muscular people inside.
Liam didn’t see the manager, so he approached one of the receptionists.
"Where is your manager?" he asked.
"Sir, the manager is in his office. Is there sothing you need?" the receptionist asked curiously.
"I want to et him," Liam replied briefly.
Hearing that, the receptionist nodded.
"I’ll call him!" she said, contacting the manager by phone.
The bald manager arrived shortly after.
"Mr. Hemsworth, are you planning to hold another competition?" he asked.
He was happy at the thought, as he could make so profit from it.
Liam didn’t answer imdiately and walked to a corner.
"I want to buy this gym. Tell where I should make the paynt," Liam said, getting straight to the point.
The bald manager froze, his mouth slightly open.
He scratched his ear.
"Hemsworth, you’re not drunk, are you?" he asked, forgetting to add "Mr." before Liam’s na.
Even though Liam had spent a lot of money hosting competitions at the gym, buying it was on a completely different level.
Liam understood—it was hard to believe, especially given his age.
"Just call your boss. Tell him the buyer is willing to pay 3 million dollars upfront," he said, pretending to be indifferent.
The manager froze again.
Seeing that, Liam had no choice but to show his bank account.
It was the company account he had just filled with 3.1 million dollars.
He would only use 300 thousand dollars, but the rest could remain as company cash.
"This?" The bald manager imdiately brought his eyes closer to Liam’s phone.
His eyes blinked repeatedly in a short span.
He seed to be counting the number of zeros in that account.
