The first round between Alex and Zerath was over. This battle had already shaken the air, but what ca next pushed everything to another level.
Alex’s eyes narrowed as he faced Zerath. His earlier attacks had done no damage to Zerath at all. Not even a scratch had been left on that abyssal’s body.
He waved his hand, and chaos energy started swirling around him. The next mont, a stream of golden energy erupted from his pores. The air around him suddenly turned heavy, and even the space around him seed to fluctuate intensely.
"Evil Lion Slash!"
Alex raised the Evil Lion Blade high above his head.
At once, the blade trembled violently, and a phantom of a colossal lion appeared behind Alex.
This ti, Alex’s attack was even more powerful than the previous one.
The lion’s body was wreathed in chaotic fla. Its mane burned with dark, evil energy. When Alex swung the blade down, the lion phantom also slashed with its claws. A tearing roar filled the heavens, and the slash carved across the land like a black storm, ripping apart everything in its path.
The floor split open into a canyon. Not to ntion the central building where Alex and Zerath were fighting, even nearby buildings crumbled instantly as the wave of Chaos Energy surged forward. The destructive force rushed at Zerath like a tide of annihilation.
"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!"
But Zerath smirked and then laughed. His eyes glowed a hellish red as he raised his horns.
"Abyssal Horns of Ruin!"
His two deep-red horns imdiately burst into flas of abyssal fire. They twisted the air around them, and when he charged forward, those horns cut directly through Alex’s lion slash.
Bang!
"Roar!"
The chaotic lion phantom roared again, but this ti in pain, as its body cracked and shattered into fragnts of black light.
Alex’s attack was gone just like that. His arms trembled from the impact, and his eyes widened in surprise, not expecting Zerath to erupt with even stronger power suddenly.
However, Zerath didn’t stop there. With a grin full of cruelty, he spread his arms wide.
"Bloodfla Corruption!"
At once, crimson-black fire erupted from his body. The fla clung to everything it touched. The nearby stones lted imdiately, and the ground blackened. The corrupted flas spread like a sea, sweeping toward Alex to devour him whole and erase his entire being.
Alex clenched his teeth and answered Zerath’s attack with another move.
"Evil Lion Roar!"
The Evil Lion Blade vibrated violently. A violent wave of energy swept over as a giant phantom of a lion again manifested behind Alex. The lion then opened its mouth wide and let out a deafening roar.
The lion’s roar wasn’t just sound; it was actually Chaos Energy compressed into vibration, shaking the sky and earth, and shattering the sea of corrupted flas before they could swallow him. The shockwave blasted outward, destroying houses, uprooting trees, and tossing huge rocks into the air.
Even Zerath had to step down a bit. He looked at the entire scene with surprise, not expecting Alex to burst forth with such power.
"Kekekeke!"
Still, Zerath laughed even louder and more evilly. All of a sudden, his body twisted like a shadow, disappearing for a mont before reappearing right in front of Alex.
"Shadow Explosion!"
Alex watched as black shadows wrapped around Zerath’s fists, and with a sudden thrust, he punched forward. The shadows didn’t stay confined around his fist. Instead, they exploded outward in all directions like an abyssal sun bursting.
"Bang!"
Alex wasn’t ready for the sudden attack, so he was unable to counterattack in ti. Due to the powerful impact, he was thrown backward as he felt a fierce pain attack his chest before spreading around his body. His body made an arc in the air before hitting the ground with a loud crash, and the earth cracked under him.
"You fight well, boy. But you are still too weak! Did you think your lion tricks could kill ? I am not like those monsters outside. I am Zerath, the Horn of the Abyss! Rember my na when you die!"
Zerath spoke in a tone that was filled with mocking laughter. It was also the first ti he spoke.
As for Alex, it was also his first ti eting a monster or an abyssal that could speak inside this Domain World. Alex’s eyes widened in surprise, but he didn’t think too much.
After all, there was no ti to waste. He can only prepare to attack before Zerath can make his move.
The air around Alex’s body suddenly started churning. The veins on his arms bulged as Chaos Energy surged, flooding the world around him.
Chaos Energy surrounded his Evil Lion Blade as the weapon first shone with dazzling golden light, blazing like a golden sun in his hand. However, in the next instant, that golden brilliance twisted and collapsed into pitch darkness. The blade imdiately gave a different vibe. It suddenly looked evil and terrifying. The energy around it gave off a crushing sensation, as if it had the power to annihilate everything.
"Evil Lion Descend!"
The next mont, a massive figure materialized in the air. This figure was simply gigantic and terrifying, covering the entire sky. This massive figure was actually a completely dark lion, with golden patterns on its skin. Its evil eyes glowed like red suns, and its mane burned with lightning.
"Roar!"
The Evil Lion roared thunderously, shaking the sky with terrifying montum. Following that, it locked on Zerath and descended.
When the lion descended, the whole Domain World appeared to shake heavily. Countless buildings had already been destroyed. Now, even the city walls cracked quickly, mountains in the distance split, and the skies turned completely black.
The lion’s claws ca down with unstoppable force, aiming to tear Zerath apart.
But Zerath was not afraid. He looked at the descending lion and its attack before sneering. "Pathetic! Let show you true despair!"
His horns flared once again, glowing even brighter than before. The Abyssal Horns of Ruin released a surge of energy that clashed head-on with the descending lion.
BOOM!
Rumble~
Bang!
As the two opposite forces collided, the entire city crumbled to dust at the first mont. Next, the sky seed to shatter, and chaotic energy surged in every direction. The ground could no longer withstand the pressure and collapsed directly, forming craters as deep as bottomless pits.
A storm of Chaos and Abyssal Energy tore everything apart. The entire city disintegrated like dust. Streets vanished in fire. Flas devoured everything within an area of thousands of miles. The sky rained fire and shadows as everything was destroyed almost imdiately.
"Kekekekeke!"
Zerath’s evil laughter echoed in the air again. He was standing amidst the chaos, completely unhard. The corrupted flas were swirling around his body like a crown of ruin.
On the other hand, Alex stood across from him, holding a blade in his hand. His hand was trembling, and Alex seed to be finding it difficult to calm his trembling hands. His clothes were torn completely, and even blood was running down his arms.
Clearly, in this attack, he suffered injuries.
Alex couldn’t help but frown. He believed his attack was definitely powerful enough to injure Zerath. After all, one of his previous attacks was not even half of this power, yet it managed to leave behind a wound on Zerath’s body.
But for so unknown reason, Zerath remained completely unhard this ti.
It was only when Alex observed closely that he saw a thin layer of red energy covering his entire body. This red energy was so thin that it almost appeared transparent. Although that was the case, Alex could feel it was overbearing and extrely resilient.
Alex imdiately knew that this thin layer of energy must be the reason why Zerath was unhard.
"What is that energy?"
Alex can tell this energy was definitely not Zerath’s ability. It was an outer force. It was as if Zerath obtained the help from soone else.
But who can help Zerath in this situation?
Fortunately, he received the answer from Zerath himself.
"Keke... I didn’t expect the thing that Kaelrix, the Fang of Darkness, once gave would protect from an ant’s attack." As Zerath spoke, he couldn’t help but lant himself. "I didn’t expect to fall to the point where even an ant posed danger to ."
As Zerath spoke, his eyes glowed with bright red light. He raised his head and locked his gaze on Alex before saying, "Co, human. Show what you’ve got. This will be the last ti I’ll defend your attack. Because the next ti I attack, you’ll die for sure."
Alex didn’t say anything to refute Zerath, nor did he sneer or mock.
After all, Zerath used to be a Saint Sovereign who even dared to attack another Saint Sovereign much powerful than himself. Such a creature, even in his sealed state, was definitely powerful enough to kill countless True Divinities, or even Saint Foundation Stage experts.
Alex knew that the previous attack was definitely not Zerath’s most powerful move. He must have many more tricks, each more powerful than the last.
