Now that the Tribe of Tomorrow had fully revived, the connection between them and the Stone of Tomorrow had ended. The vortex that brought the souls of all mbers of Tribe of Tomorrow out slowly began to close. It shrank smaller and smaller until it vanished without a trace.
It was at this mont, a deep "vrmmmm" sound echoed through the valley suddenly.
Everyone turned their heads and saw the Freezing Sky Spear floating in the air had started to shake violently. Its surface trembled with great force, and very soon, a fine crack appeared on the shaft of the spear.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Following the first crack, second, third, and fourth cracks appeared. And then, one after another, many cracks appeared on the spear. The cracks spread quickly across the entire weapon like spiderwebs.
And then...
BOOM!
The spear shattered into countless fragnts and scattered into the air like stardust.
Alex's mouth twitched when he saw this.
He smiled bitterly and shook his head.
He had put so much effort into repairing that spear, and now it was gone just like that. But deep down, he understood that this spear had always been a symbol that proved the connection between the Tribe of Tomorrow and the Stone of Tomorrow. Now that the tribe was freed, the spear too had reached its end.
Suddenly, a soft pulse of power surged from the Stone of Tomorrow. It expanded and covered the entire valley.
Alex was shocked to see that everything in the valley had frozen. Wind halted, birds in mid-flight stood still, and even the revived tribe beca unmoving statues. Ti itself had stopped completely.
Only one person could still move. It was Alex.
Alex felt sothing stir within the air. He moved his head, only to see a strand of temporal energy slowly floating toward the Stone of Tomorrow, as if returning ho. This strand of temporal energy had co out after the Freezing Sky Spear was destroyed.
Very soon, a strand of temporal energy fused with the Stone of Tomorrow, and the Stone of Tomorrow trembled a little. Then, it gently lowered itself from the air and floated back towards Alex.
Alex opened his palm, and the Stone of Tomorrow ca down, resting in his palm.
Alex stared at it quietly. The stone sat silently in his hand. It was as mysterious and ancient as ever. He didn't know how to feel at this mont.
In the end, he sighed, tossed the stone into his personal space, and then disappeared in an instant. There was no need to speak to the Tribe of Tomorrow anymore. Their fate was no longer his concern.
Imdiately after he disappeared, ti in the valley resud.
The valley ca alive again. The wind blew softly. The grass swayed and birds chirped. The tribe began to move again, but this ti, sothing was strangely wrong with the tribe.
More than ten thousand mbers of the tribe looked around in confusion, and soon, a commotion was stirred.
"Why are we in this valley?"
"What happened to us?"
"Why did we co here?"
"Wait... I know we are a tribe, but what's the na of our tribe again?"
They seed to have forgotten sothing important.
Every mory related to the Stone of Tomorrow had vanished from their minds. Even the na of their tribe was gone.
The leader of the Tribe of Tomorrow also looked at the tribesn in confusion for a long ti. He looked around, not knowing why he was there or what he was supposed to do now.
He didn't rember the na of his tribe, but he rembered that he is the leader of the tribe.
After thinking for a mont, he stepped forward. His expression was serious. He looked at everyone and raised his voice.
"Everyone, please pay attention to what I'm going to say next.
Perhaps, they all rembered that he was supposed to be their leader. They stopped talking and looked at the leader.
"We've forgotten who we are. We don't know why we're here. We don't know our past or even the na of our tribe. But we are here now. Since we are here, then let's stay here. We will build our houses here. This valley shall beco our ho, at least for now. Until we regain our lost mories, we'll live here together."
None of them knew what had truly happened.
And Alex, who returned to the White Family, didn't know either.
He didn't know that because he randomly chose an empty valley, in just a dozen or so years, this quiet valley would beco a flourishing city, standing at the heart of a powerful trade route between two great empires.
.....
Sowhere in another world...
Bizarre Beasts Cave was a heaven for Demonic Beasts that Sky Sage Empire had spent a lot of effort to build.
In this place, Demonic Beasts could live and cultivate freely as they did in the forest. This was because this place was also extrely vast. It was a fifth of the size of the entire Sky Sage Empire!
It was opened in a secret spatial zone, much like a secret realm. However, because this spatial zone was not very stable, as such, only warriors below the Extre Void Stage could survive there.
The flow of ti here was different from other places. Besides, every ti the "Hundred Nation War" started, no human warrior would enter this place!
Although this Bizarre Beasts cave was a heaven for Demonic Beasts, every ti human warriors enter, countless demonic beasts are killed by them. Of course, demonic beasts also kill human warriors.
The cave was humongous, and there exist all kind of environnt inside. There were rivers, mountains, forests, desert, and more.
"Bang!"
At this mont, a deep sound was heard from the desert.
A figure appeared.
It was a human nad Xin!
However, Xin's current situation wasn't very optimistic. When he was teleporting, he was sensing the spatial force. After that, he couldn't help but touch the spatial force in the teleportation tunnel.
The consequences were tragic.
How mighty was the power of the teleportation formation that can teleport a person from the outside world to inside the Bizarre Beast Cave?
It wasn't sothing that Xin's superficial understanding of space could compare with.
The mont he released his spatial force and touched the spatial force of the teleportation formation; Xin's spatial force was instantly killed by the formation's spatial force!
