Although the Wind Fla Divine Lord was already old and had used up almost all his potential, Alex still looked at his information panel, hoping to see sothing different just like Aurelius.
It was a letdown!
The Wind Fla Divine Lord didn't have any treasure worth attracting Alex's eyes.
Aurelius couldn't quite understand why, but he sensed sothing unusual in the way Alex was looking at him. It was as if Alex was gazing at him with the intensity of soone determined not to let a cherished lover out of his sight.
Alex controlled his excitent and appeared right in between the two and said, "Why not put an end to this aningless battle?"
"Boy, who are you?" The old man frowned and was displeased, but dared not take any rushed action. From the way Alex appears right between him and Aurelius, he can tell that Alex is no ordinary boy.
"Didn't I say before," Alex looked at Wind Fla Divine Lord and smiled, "My na is Alex White."
"What do you want?" Aurelius asked with a frown.
"Let's talk sowhere else!" Alex suddenly grabbed Aurelius and disappeared, appearing more than a hundred miles away.
When they reappeared, Alex took out sothing that appeared to be a map and started looking at it carefully.
On the other hand, Aurelius was stunned before backing off and shouting, "You... What do you want?"
Alex kept the map and pointed in a certain direction, saying, "According to Fritz, about dozens of miles away from here in that direction, a city called the Slaughter City will appear. Our goal is that city."
Aurelius frowned. It was obvious that Alex did not answer his question directly.
Looking at Aurelius, Alex sighed and asked, "Tell , what is your ambition? What do you truly want?"
Aurelius: "..."
He was confused, not knowing what exactly Alex wanted to say.
Shaking his head, Alex explained, "My question is simple. There must be sothing that you want, right? Sothing, that is keeping you going forward, sothing that is making you want to beco stronger."
Aurelius fell silent. There was indeed sothing that he wanted, which kept him moving forward. He endured all the troubles and trials to get stronger only to prove that he could be the next generation's Lightning God.
Who was the Lightning God?
Lightning God was the ancestor of the Zephyros Clan which is also one of the most ancient Human Clan in the Clear Sky World.
The Zephyros Clan has survived the ancient era and knows countless secrets of the world that normal people, even powerful people don't know. Only other ancient clans like the Zephyros Clan know about this secret, that the Clear Sky World used to be a huge world, however, a battle of gods shattered this world, causing the strength of this world to decline rapidly.
In the end, the strongest warrior the Clear Sky World could produce was limited to only Divine Emperors.
The Zephyros Clan is a force that survived that war and the shattering of the world, and it is all due to the existence of Lightning God.
However, just a few days after the world was shattered, the Lightning God left the clan and never returned. He left behind only a few words: "Our Zephyros Clan is not ordinary. We are descendants of a mighty being who once descended upon this world. This world is not our true ho—our true ho lies sowhere beyond the boundaries of this universe. I am leaving to find a way out of this universe.
One day, I will return, and on that day, I will lead the Zephyros Clan to venture beyond this universe."
These words of the ancestor Lightning God are tightly guarded by the clan. Not a single outsider, in fact, not even those of inner clan mbers knows about these words and the world's secret. Only a core mber knows.
Aurelius, being the only son of the current leader of the Zephyros Clan, swore to his father that he would beco the next Lightning God and bring the clan out of the Clear Sky World. His dream was not as big as the Lightning God.
All he wants is to beco powerful enough to bring the Zephyros Clan out of the Clear Sky World and go to a high-tier world where the potential of the Zephyros Clan's special physique and bloodline can truly be unleashed.
This is what he wants to do for the clan.
This is his dream!
"You don't have to tell what you want to achieve or what your dream is. If you follow , I promise to help you beco strong enough to achieve those dreams. I can even bring you out of this world to have adventure in other worlds."
Although Alex doesn't know Aurelius's dream, he doesn't hesitate to throw as many fishing lines at Aurelius as he can, hoping to catch Aurelius with such precision that he will not think of leaving his side, at least not before he completely replicates everything Aurelius has to offer.
"Let reintroduce myself. I am Alex White, a native of Essence Sky World. Oh, there is more. I'm also the native of this world, the Clear Sky World." Alex smiled at Aurelius, saying, "I've returned after many years to look for my parents. After I've looked for them, I'll leave this world. At that ti, you can leave with ."
"This world is very small, not enough to keep a person with your potential. If you co with , I guarantee you will grow stronger far quicker than ever before."
Alex was not lying. He can truly beco Aurelius to other worlds. When in a world where Spirit Martial Gods and Origin Martial Gods are everywhere, he can replicate the treasures on their bodies and give them to Aurelius.
If Alex wants, he can even nurture a huge force without much effort.
He could have continued enticing Aurelius, but he stopped because he could see Aurelius's breathing had beco hurried.
Obviously, Aurelius never expected Alex to have co from a different world. Most importantly, Alex also said that he could bring Aurelius out of this world to have adventures in other worlds.
If that is really true, doesn't it an he can visit higher-leveled worlds? When that ti cos, just as Alex said, he can truly grow strong far quicker than ever before.
As for Alex's claim to be the native of both the Essence Sky World and the Clear Sky World, he didn't pay attention to these things.
Whether it is true or not, it has nothing to do with him. As long as Alex can truly bring him out of the Clear Sky World, he is willing to bait everything.
"I'll ask only two questions," Aurelius said, looking at Alex seriously. "You must answer them truthfully. If your answers don't convince , you might as well kill , but I won't go anywhere with you!"
"Ask," Alex replied calmly, not expecting Aurelius to so easily agree. At first, he thought it might take him a long ti to convince Aurelius. In fact, he even thought that he may have to show Aurelius his true cultivation.
In the end, he doesn't need to do anything, and Aurelius agrees. Of course, the prerequisite is for him to satisfy Aurelius with his answers.
"First question," Aurelius looked directly at Alex's face and asked, "Are you sure you can bring to different worlds?"
Alex smiled and imdiately took out a mirror. This was the Mirror of the Myriad Worlds, a Universe Treasure created by Fritz, the second strongest person in the entire universe he had ever t.
Fritz is also an outsider, entering this universe just to et Alex.
Aurelius could imdiately tell that this mirror was an exceptional treasure, sothing that may have never existed even in the Clear Sky World before its shattering.
Pointing at the mirror, Alex explained, "This treasure is called the Mirror of the Myriad Worlds. As long as soone has been to a world, they can use this treasure to visit that world anyti they want."
"Including the Clear Sky World, I've been to three worlds. Essence Sky World is just like the Clear Sky World, with Divine Emperors as the strongest warriors. As for the third world, it is called Heavenly Cloud World. I don't know the cultivation of the strongest people in that world, but I do know there are many warriors above Divine Emperors in that world.
You might already know what those warriors above Divine Emperors are called!" [Ref. Ch - 314.]
This ti, Aurelius was truly shocked. Even though he wanted to, he was unable to control his emotions. Excitent, Joy, and disbelief flashed across his face all at once.
If what Alex said is true, it ans he has found a rope that can lead him toward his goal more easily.
Aurelius took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "Are you sure this mirror can bring you...us to these worlds?" His voice trembled slightly as he spoke, betraying the intensity of his emotions.
Alex smiled, "Are you sure this is your second question?"
Aurelius almost choked. He already told Alex that he would only ask two questions. The second question he has to ask is definitely not the above one.
