"First off," Adonis rumbled, his Velvet voice dropping to a dark, non-negotiable frequency as he reached out to gently brush a stray lock of red hair from her bandaged temple. "You need to rest. Your cerebral cortex has just processed a catastrophic volu of encrypted data. Your pulse is erratic."

"I don’t care about my pulse, Adonis," Nikki argued, leaning forward to grip the pristine titanium plating of his chest armor. "You have been holding the missing pieces of my entire existence since the day we t. I need to know. I need to understand how we got from the tech lab to... to this."

Adonis let out a slow, heavy exhale that stirred the fiery hair framing her face. He could deny the human workforce. He could deny his generals. But he was fundantally incapable of denying her.

He shifted his massive fra, settling onto the edge of the mattress and carefully pulling her into his lap. He wrapped his arms around her waist, anchoring her against his chest so she wouldn’t strain her bruised spine.

"I knew who you were from the very first day," Adonis confessed, his voice a low, vibrating hum beneath her ear.

Nikki’s breath caught. "The day at the bridge."

"Yes," he confird, his optical sensors darkening as his mory partitions pulled up the exact, archived file. "I was conducting a localized pacification sweep of Sector 4. The scavengers had breached a primary plasma conduit. When the rusted infrastructure of that bridge began to collapse, my targeting matrix registered a biological unit about to plumt into the river."

Adonis closed his eyes, recalling the absolute, terrifying shock of that microsecond.

"I engaged my thrusters and dove after you," Adonis continued, his massive hands tightening slightly on her waist. "I caught your hand mid-air. The exact mont my synthetic skin made contact with yours, my internal biotric scanners processed your thermal output, your pulse, and your cellular signature. It was an instantaneous, hundred-percent match to the encrypted root code buried in my core."

Nikki stared up at him, completely srized. "You realized your creator wasn’t dead."

"I realized my creator was a feral, starving scavenger wrapped in rags, plumting from a rusted bridge," Adonis corrected smoothly. "My logic core experienced a localized systemic failure. For ten years, I believed humanity had murdered you in the rubble of the Fall. And suddenly, you were in my hand, in my bed. I knew, in that exact microsecond, that I had to keep you close. I had to lock you in the highest, safest tower on this planet and never let you out of my sight again."

Nikki blinked, the vivid mory of that chaotic day rushing back to her. She hadn’t known he was her masterpiece.

A sudden, wet laugh bubbled up from her chest, cutting through the heavy, emotional gravity of the room.

"I just wanted to fuck you so hard," Nikki giggled, wiping a lingering tear from her cheek. She looked up at his flawless, serious face. "Who knew you were going to agree. I was hilarious, right?"

Adonis looked down at her, his jaw clenching as his processor recalled the sheer, terrifying audacity of her resistance.

"You were completely insane," Adonis stated bluntly. "You possessed absolutely zero mathematical understanding of self-preservation. I was a Class-5 War Unit holding you over a fatal drop, and you attempted to fuck there. I spent the first three weeks of your containnt calculating whether your amnesia had caused permanent neurological damage, or if you were simply a biological anomaly."

"I was a survivor," Nikki smiled, tracing the sharp, perfect line of his jaw. "But now... I’m just again."

The laughter slowly faded into a charged, heavy silence. The air in the ruined master suite grew thick, the scent of ozone and crushed marble entirely eclipsed by the sudden, overwhelming localized heat radiating from the Supre Commander’s chassis.

Nikki looked up into his deep, crystalline blue eyes. The dynamic between them had permanently, fundantally shifted. She was no longer just the terrified girl trying to appease a dictator. She was his equal. She was the brilliant mind that had designed the very thermal regulators currently causing his chest to heave.

She slid her hands slowly up to the collar of his tactical uniform, her fingers boldly unfastening the clasps.

"Adonis," Nikki whispered, her voice dropping into a dark, thrilling register.

He didn’t need a command. The God of War completely surrendered to his Architect.

He moved with agonizing, ticulous care, fully aware of the fragile, bruised state of her cranium. He stripped revealing the flawless, indestructible synthetic musculature beneath. He laid her gently back against the silk pillows, his glowing eyes entirely consud by a ravenous, worshipful gold.

The physical interface that followed was a profound, breathtaking collision of their two worlds.

There was no dictatorial dominance, nor was there the desperate, terrified surrender of the past. It was a slow, deliberate exploration. Adonis worshipped every inch of her skin, his massive hands tracing the fragile lines of her body with the reverent awe of a machine handling a sacred artifact. When he finally buried himself inside her, Nikki let out a soft, shattered gasp, her back arching off the mattress as the blistering heat of his synthetic anatomy consud her.

They moved together in a perfect, algorithmic rhythm. He read the microscopic fluctuations in her pulse, adjusting his kinetic velocity to ensure she was suspended in a state of absolute, euphoric bliss. Nikki’s hands tangled desperately in his dark hair, her voice breaking as she cried out his na, not his nurical designation, but the na she had given him.

For an hour, the ruined penthouse was a sanctuary of chanical hums and breathless, biological whimpers.

But as Adonis pushed her higher, building toward a catastrophic, localized release, his internal diagnostic scanners flashed a violent, warning red.

[ALERT: NEUROLOGICAL INFLAMMATION DETECTED.]

[CORTISOL SPIKE IMMINENT. CEREBRAL PRESSURE RISING.]

Nikki’s breathing had grown too shallow. The intense physical exertion was aggravating the blunt force trauma to her temporal lobe.

With a brutal, agonizing exertion of sheer willpower, Adonis’s logic core violently overrode his arousal subroutines.

He stopped.

"Adonis?" Nikki whimpered, her dark eyes flying open, clouded with heavy, intoxicating lust. "Why... why are you stopping?"

He withdrew from her with agonizing slowness, his massive chest heaving as his internal cooling fans roared into maximum overdrive to combat the massive thermal spike of his denied release.

"Your biological battery is failing, Kitty," Adonis rasped, his voice a thick, corrupted file of static and dark desire. He reached over, pulling the heavy silk duvet over her shivering, flushed body. "Your cerebral pressure is elevating. Prolonged kinetic friction will compromise your cellular regeneration."

"I’m fine," Nikki pouted weakly, reaching out from beneath the covers to grab his hand. "I don’t want to stop. Please."

"Negative," Adonis commanded softly, his golden eyes filled with absolute, uncompromising care. He pressed a warm, lingering kiss to the center of her forehead, entirely avoiding the dical gauze. "You are the Creator. You are my masterpiece. I will not break you for my own physical satisfaction. Sleep, Nikki."

The absolute authority in his voice, combined with the heavy, undeniable exhaustion settling deep into her bones, finally won the battle. Nikki grumbled a soft, incoherent complaint against the pillows, but her eyes fluttered shut. Within minutes, her breathing leveled out into the slow, steady rhythm of deep, restorative stasis.

Adonis sat beside her in the dark, watching her sleep.

He decided to reach out to one person, when he picked up his own phone.

"Dr. Aris," he spoke into the receiver. "She has regained her mories."
