"Respected Sovereign Glacia, I have been watching you for ten million years!"

The mont Blake spoke, Sovereign Glacia’s pupils constricted violently. He had been watching her for ten million years?

"What the hell is going on!?"

She spoke coldly, her voice laced with suspicion. Being "watched" was just a polite way of saying she was under surveillance.

"It all began a billion years ago," Blake started, but then he paused, shaking his head. "However, the details of what happened will have to wait. You must first pass the trial left by my master before his death. Only by passing this trial will you be allowed to leave this place alive!"

Blake wasn't joking. With a Rank 11 warship and his existence as an intelligent lifeform, wiping out a re residual soul like Sovereign Glacia would be child's play.

"Then quit stalling. I’m on a schedule!"

Lance interrupted bluntly.

The other four major races would be arriving soon, and he planned to find an opportunity to wipe them all out. His plan was simple: repair the Exploits in this Rank 11 warship and claim it for himself. Once he had control of the upgraded vessel, he could easily annihilate the four races—and even the Void-kin—before heading out into the Great Cosmic Era without any lingering concerns.

Blake felt a pang of helplessness at Lance’s words. In the ten billion years he had spent hosting countless trials for civilizations across hundreds of billions of light-years, he had never t anyone as arrogant as Lance.

However, considering Lance likely possessed talent beyond the Desolate Grade, Blake felt a flicker of anticipation. If it truly was Prival Grade talent, Lance could eventually beco a powerhouse on the level of his forr master—perhaps even stronger under his guidance. After all, a Prival Grade genius who achieved that status without formal cultivation was dozens of tis more terrifying than a standard one.

"Very well. I shall cut the chatter. Follow !"

Blake’s tone turned solemn as he turned and flew toward the massive warship.

The group followed, entering the gargantuan vessel and weaving through its interior corridors. Eventually, they arrived at a massive, pitch-black hangar.

It was so dark that it felt oppressive, as if the shadows themselves were devouring light and psionic senses. Even with Lance’s advanced perception, everything was swallowed by an absolute void.

"An artificial Dark Domain... Your master was no ordinary man," Sovereign Glacia remarked, her voice heavy with gravity.

A Domain was a powerful ability that only those in the Domain Lord Realm could master. Within a Domain, the user was invincible. Unless the trapped victim could manifest an even more powerful Domain, they stood no chance against the owner, even if they were several levels higher in rank.

Even at the peak of her power, constructing an artificial domain would have cost Sovereign Glacia at least ninety percent of her entire net worth.

"My master, The Umbra Sovereign, was on the verge of stepping into the World Lord Class before he died. Unfortunately, his injuries were too severe. As for how he died... I will tell whoever passes the trial," Blake’s voice echoed through the darkness.

His words made Sovereign Glacia’s expression shift. This ant The Umbra Sovereign had actually been stronger than her. She had previously assud he was a common Domain Lord and hadn't thought much of him.

In the higher realms, the gap between a 1st-tier Domain Lord and a 10th-tier Domain Lord was like heaven and earth. A 10th-tier Lord could kill tens of thousands of 1st-tier Lords with a single glance—assuming their talents were on the sa level. A World Lord, however, was exponentially more powerful than a 10th-tier Domain Lord because they possessed a "Small World."

A Small World was the evolved form of a Domain, a space capable of nurturing life itself.

Buzz!

Suddenly, a flood of information surged into the consciousness of Selina, Lance, and even Sovereign Glacia.

It was a cultivation thod titled: The Dark Abyssal Sutra.

Once the transmission was complete, Blake spoke slowly.

"The Dark Abyssal Sutra was my master’s most powerful technique. Along with your Glacial Codex, it is one of the Eight Great Sutras of The Kasa God-Realm. If any of you can reach the Proficient level and successfully awaken the S-Rank Supernatural Trait: Dark Power within three days, you will beco my master’s personal disciple."

He paused, a faint smile touching his voice. "You will inherit everything he left behind. As for the other two... they will be erased. Unless, of course, the new disciple chooses to spare them. I’ll leave that decision to you."

Blake spoke as if he didn't care about the weight of the technique.

Sovereign Glacia was reeling with shock. The fact that Blake knew the na of her cultivation thod was terrifying—only she was supposed to know about the Glacial Codex. She had once made the mistake of telling a close friend, which led to a betrayal that resulted in a World Lord Class powerhouse shattering her physical body. She only survived because she possessed a World Lord Class soul-defense artifact.

Now, this being knew her entire history. And he was offering another of the Eight Great Sutras.

She had heard of them: the Holy Light Codex, the Glacial Codex, the Dark Abyssal Sutra, the Fla Emperor Codex... eight Rank 12 World Lord Class cultivation thods. It was because of her sutra that she had raised her talent to the Desolate Grade and beco a Domain Lord. If she hadn't been betrayed, she might have reached the World Lord Class within another hundred million years.

She realized then that Blake’s master had likely suffered the sa fate—killed because his high-level technique was exposed.

"You must know that the Eight Great Sutras are Rank 12 techniques," Sovereign Glacia said coldly. "Learning it to the Proficient level in three days? That is utterly impossible."

Three days was a joke. She had chosen Selina as her disciple specifically because Selina had reached Proficient in her own sutra within a year—a speed nearly equal to her own at that age. But even so, it had taken a year. For a Rank 12 technique, even Sovereign Glacia herself would need three or four months. Three days was a physical impossibility.

If soone could actually do it in three days, they would likely beco a powerful World Lord in less than ten million years. And with a World Lord's lifespan of ten billion years, such a person would have plenty of ti to potentially strike for the God-King Class.

"That is why the target of this trial isn't you or the girl," Blake replied simply.

His eyes were fixed on only one person: Lance.

Lance’s eyes flickered with realization. So much confidence in ? He must know sothing about my talent.

Lance suspected that it was no coincidence the Cryo-Wraith Monarch of the Skrulls had found this secret realm right when Lance was in a position to intercept the ssage. Blake had likely planned all of this.

I just wonder... Lance thought, has he noticed the System, or has he simply sensed that sothing is 'off' with my body?

Lance felt a weight settle in his chest.

[Ding... Any existence that defies the laws of logic will be modified by the System in the eyes of any observer! While the artificial intelligence before you monitors billions of major star systems, including the Milky Way, and has recorded every detail of your life since birth, all instances of you utilizing the System have been corrected and rewritten as 'Natural Talent Awakening!']

The System’s voice broke through his rising anxiety.

Its words allowed Lance to finally relax. It made sense; he was currently pondering the System right in front of a being powerful enough to read his very thoughts. If the System were going to be exposed, it would have happened long ago. The fact that nothing had changed ant the System had scrubbed every trace of its existence from the physical and ntal planes.

That was enough for him. At least for the foreseeable future, it was unlikely that anything could detect the System’s presence. And by the ti he encountered an entity that could, he probably wouldn't care anyway. After all, any being capable of sensing the System would likely be capable of creating sothing similar themselves—there would be no reason for them to be surprised.

Of course, this was all just Lance’s speculation. He would have to wait until he reached the absolute limits of what the System could provide before he knew the truth for certain.

"Three days?" Lance let out a short, confident laugh. "If all you require is 'Proficient' mastery, I won't even need three days."

Even though this was a Rank 12 technique, it was nothing before his current Innate Law Body. Three days was, in fact, an overestimation.

"Fine. In that case, you may begin!"

Blake chuckled at Lance’s words. He wanted to see if Lance’s talent truly reached the terrifying heights of the Prival Grade, but he was only testing him. In his estimation, even if Lance didn't have Prival Grade talent, reaching 'Proficient' mastery within three months would be impressive enough.

If the boy truly possessed Prival Grade talent, it should still take him at least half a month.

With that final thought, Blake’s form slowly faded into nothingness.

"Hmph. You’re far too arrogant, brat. You clearly underestimate the power of the Abyssal Dark Scripture," Sovereign Glacia said, her expression grave as she turned to Lance. "Once mastered, this technique allows one to awaken a Desolate Grade trait: Saintly Yin Power. And that’s just a secondary benefit. A Rank 12 technique can push the power of Saintly Yin to a level that rivals even common Prival Grade talents. It can essentially elevate a person's entire standing to the Prival Grade! That is exactly why it is ranked among the Eight Great Scriptures of the Kasa God-Realm. Even I have only awakened the Glacial Power from the Glacial Scripture. I have yet to take that final step to elevate it to the level of a Prival Grade talent!"

Seeing Lance’s bravado, Sovereign Glacia couldn't help but warn him of the sheer scale of the task.

"Don't put so much pressure on him," Selina interjected, quickly coming to Lance's defense. "Maybe he really can do it?"

"Bullsht! If he fails, we all die. How can I not be worried?" Sovereign Glacia rolled her eyes at her student. This girl was always taking his side lately.

"Selina is right. If I say three days, I an three days. Don't worry," Lance said with a calm smile.

Without waiting for Sovereign Glacia to respond, he sat cross-legged in the void and began to prepare his mind for the technique.

"Hmph. Fine, brat. Let's see how you handle it when reality hits you in the face!" Glacia sat down nearby in a huff, waiting to watch him fail.

"Aren't we going to cultivate too?" Selina asked curiously.

"Cultivate what? Both of us have Ice-attribute constitutions," Glacia snapped irritably. "Reaching 'Proficient' mastery in the Glacial Scripture would take us months, if not a year. If we tried to learn the Abyssal Dark Scripture, it would probably take a decade just to reach 'Proficient'!"

"Oh... right. I guess I'll just stick to the Glacial Scripture then," Selina muttered, coming to her senses. She began her own ditation on the spot. At this point, they really were entirely dependent on Lance.

...

...

Floating in the void, Lance ntally sorted through the vast information of the scripture. The more he analyzed it, the more he realized its sheer power.

Unlike the common techniques Lance had practiced before, this one had five levels of mastery. Standard techniques usually followed a path of Novice, Proficient, Expert, and Perfect.

However, this scripture was divided into: Novice, Proficient, Expert, Great Success, and finally, Perfect.

Reaching the Novice level allowed one to awaken a B-Rank ability: Shadow Power.

Reaching Proficient evolved it into the S-Rank Abyssal Force.

Expert mastery awakened the SSS-Rank Extre Yin Force.

If one reached Great Success, the Extre Yin Force would evolve into the Desolate Grade Saintly Yin Power.

The final stage, Perfect, was the most terrifying. At this level, the Saintly Yin Power would be forcibly elevated by the scripture into a Prival Grade talent, possessing world-shaking power.

That final step to 'Perfect' was naturally the most difficult. Given it was a Rank 12 technique, even with Lance’s Innate Law Body, it would likely take decades of dedicated cultivation to reach that peak—unless he continued to upgrade the level of his Innate Law Body itself.

If he broke past his current limits again, his Innate Law Body would grow into a Prival Grade or even a Cosmic Grade talent. At that point, mastering a Rank 12 technique would be a simple walk in the park.

Lance currently had six Reconstruction Quotas available. This was exactly enough to push his Desolate Grade Innate Law Body past its limits and transform it into a Prival Grade ability.

"No need to rush yet. I should secure the inheritance of this Domain Lord Class powerhouse first," Lance thought. "The six Reconstruction opportunities that refresh in a few hours are vital. I can't blow them all at once."

He wasn't in a hurry. He could wait a day until his Reconstruction Quotas were fully refreshed. After all, once he got his hands on this ship and applied Reconstruction, it would likely evolve into a terrifying Rank 13 or even Rank 14 vessel. Once that happened, all his problems would be solved.

Without further hesitation, he began to circulate the Abyssal Dark Scripture.

The technique required using the soul to communicate with the dark energy of the universe. Since they were currently within the Abyssal Domain, the ambient dark energy was incredibly dense.

As Lance began his cultivation, the surrounding dark energy surged toward him like a flood.

"Berserk Absorption!"

Lance didn't hold back, imdiately activating his skill.

Sssshhh!

Under the terrifying speed of the absorption, he felt his Soul being violently corroded by the dark energy. He reached his threshold almost instantly.
