As the notification echoed, The Martial Paragon's expression underwent a violent transformation.

"Lance! You..."

The Martial Paragon finally snapped into a state of panic. A staggering number of The Human Race’s powerhouses were being slaughtered. To reach such a rank, one had to be at least at the Grandmaster level. What in the world was Lance doing?

"The ones dying are the parents and elders of these so-called geniuses," Lance said, his voice eerily calm. "Since they clearly didn't know how to raise them, they won't have to worry about it anymore."

The Martial Paragon’s face paled as the words hit him.

"Did you... did you kill every single one of them?"

The Martial Paragon’s voice trembled. He had studied Lance’s files extensively, and he knew a dark truth: when Lance's parents died, it hadn't just been the fault of Void Beasts and natural disasters. It was also due to the cold indifference of certain high-ranking warriors.

This was exactly why he had been worried that Lance might harbor a deep-seated resentnt toward The Human Race.

Now, soone had dared to lay a finger on his sister. They had struck his absolute breaking point.

Connecting the past to the present, The Martial Paragon realized he no longer dared to stand in Lance’s way.

At that mont, the families of these "geniuses"—as long as they were within the borders of The Sol System—were being obliterated one by one. It didn't matter if they had contributed to The Human Race in the past; that didn't stop Lance for a second.

To put it bluntly, aside from receiving a few rewards, Lance had never actually benefited from The Human Race’s infrastructure since his arrival in this world. Instead, he had been the one providing aid from the very beginning.

He had even gone as far as wiping out The Four Great Races.

And before his "awakening," if it hadn't been for Duke Lucius and his daughter, Lance and Lillian—two children with no background—would have perished long ago. They were War Orphans at the bottom of the social ladder, living in a world that seed safe to the wealthy but was a living hell for them.

The benefits he had received were nothing compared to the price he had paid.

And yet, after everything, his sister was still being bullied.

After slaughtering the relatives of these "geniuses," Lance turned his gaze toward the unconscious brats lying on the ground.

"I could have ignored everything that happened before," Lance said, addressing The Martial Paragon with a chilling lack of emotion. "But I won't tolerate what happened these past two days. If you have any objections to my thods, feel free to voice them. Hell, you can even try to stop by force."

His tone was flat, devoid of any discernible anger, but that single sentence plunged The Martial Paragon into a pit of despair.

If he actually tried to fight, not only would he die, but this peerless genius and powerhouse would abandon The Human Race forever. Or worse, he would beco their greatest enemy.

All of this, because of a group of children bullying a girl. The Martial Paragon fell into a grim silence.

"Lillian, let's go."

Lance didn't wait for a response. He looked at his sister and reached out.

"Okay!"

Lillian glanced at the surrounding Human Race experts, who were paralyzed with fear, and quickly took Lance’s hand.

Hum!

With Noir perched on his shoulder, the two of them soared into the sky. Lance vanished from the face of the Mother Planet in an instant.

However, just when the survivors thought the ordeal was over, streaks of light plumted from the heavens.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of thunderous explosions rocked the area. Ninety percent of the "geniuses" lying unconscious on the ground were vaporized by the descending force.

As for the Grandmaster-level Instructor, he was suddenly yanked into the air by an unseen power. A fate worse than death awaited him.

"Martial Paragon, what is... what is Lance doing?"

The surrounding Planetary Class experts were terrified out of their wits. From everything they had heard about Lance, the man was invincible. He had single-handedly erased four emperors and controlled The Void-kin to wipe The Four Great Races off the map in a re fifteen days.

The Void-kin powerhouses had even vanished from The Milky Way, which was the only reason The Human Race had dared to reclaim those territories.

And now, this god-like figure was turning his blade against his own kind.

"Sigh... In the end, it was The Human Race that failed those siblings."

The Martial Paragon let out a long, heavy sigh. Looking at the few "geniuses" left alive, he realized the pattern. Every single person who died was soone who had personally laid a hand on Lillian or insulted her.

Even though the Three-Headed Dragon had already punished the physical attackers, the verbal abuse had left deeper scars on a thirteen-year-old girl.

Yet, even in his rage, Lance hadn't vented his anger on those who were truly innocent of the bullying. This fact filled The Martial Paragon with even more guilt.

A firm resolve took root in his heart. He would initiate a massive purge within The Human Race.

It wouldn't be like Lance's strike, which only eliminated a fraction of a percent. This would be a total cleansing of their internal rot. Only then could The Human Race truly prosper.

Unfortunately, Lance was gone. And this departure might an he would never associate with The Human Race again.

In the depths of space, Lillian watched Lance staring back at the Mother Planet with a curious expression.

"What are you looking at?"

"The Mother Planet... it's just not the sa anymore," Lance replied, his words sowhat cryptic.

"Isn't it always like that?" Lillian asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"Maybe." Lance smiled faintly, offering no further explanation. He led Lillian into the Eleventh-Rank starship.

Originally, Lance had planned to tour the universe, but he realized there was no need. Since The Virtual Universe was indistinguishable from reality and could even reflect the physical world, there was no point in running around.

At least, not until The Genius Trials were over.

The ship's engines ignited, and it quickly vanished from The Sol System.

In one of the ship’s cabins, Selina turned to her ntor with curiosity.

"What do we do now? Are we going back with Lance?"

Sovereign Glacia looked at her apprentice with a look of helpless resignation.

"Where else could we go? We don't even have a decent ship of our own. Even if we left, we wouldn't get far. Besides, why leave? Since we can connect to The Virtual Universe here, we can focus on increasing our strength. Given my current state, if I wander around, so powerhouse will probably catch and turn into an alchemical pill!"

Sovereign Glacia sighed. "That brat said he’d get so pills, though. I wonder if he forgot, or if he was just ssing with ."

Being without a physical body made her incredibly vulnerable.

"I didn't forget. These things just take ti to be delivered."

A calm voice echoed through the cabin. The space twisted, and Lance stepped out of the void, appearing directly in front of Sovereign Glacia.

Her pupils constricted in shock.

"What kind of ability is that? That looked like 'Shattering the Void'—only God-King Class experts can do that!"

Sovereign Glacia was stunned. That was a legendary ability. Even at her peak, she had never witnessed it in person. God-King rank experts weren't exactly easy to run into, let alone see them perform such a feat right in front of her.

"Do I really need to tell you that?" Lance smirked.

Sovereign Glacia rolled her eyes at him, clearly annoyed. "Fine, keep your secrets."

"Your pills have been shipped," Lance continued. "They're Twelfth-Rank, so it'll take about ten hours for them to arrive. Just be patient."

"I’m actually here to ask you a question!"

Seeing Sovereign Glacia’s playful look, Lance decided not to tease her further and got straight to the point.

The mont he spoke, her eyes lit up. Lance had actually managed to get his hands on these pills, and they were the legendary Tier 12 variety.

"Hehe, I knew you were the best! In that case, ask whatever you want!" Sovereign Glacia bead with a joyful smile.

"Do you know anything about the Atlantis civilization?" Lance asked directly.

He asked because Blake had previously ntioned that before the rise of the Galactic Terrans, a powerful Tier 8 civilization known as Atlantis had existed in the Milky Way. Unfortunately, thirty million years ago, they vanished from the Milky Way after a catastrophic war with another civilization.

The human race on the Mother Planet was rely a small, surviving branch of that ancient Atlantis.

The Abyssal Civilization, which had wiped out the local Atlantis branch, was itself erased shortly after by the Atlantis parent civilization. That parent civilization was an 11th-tier powerhouse located not far from the Glacial Star-System. The branch in the Milky Way had been nothing more than a tiny offshoot of their empire.

Unfortunately, after the 11th-tier Atlantis empire purged the Abyssal Civilization, they assud the Atlantis bloodline in this region had been completely extinguished and departed. They never found the humans on the Mother Planet, whose connection to their heritage had been severed.

Over the long eons, the humans of the Mother Planet—having lost their advanced culture—first regressed into primitives and then slowly rebuilt their society as their population grew. It wasn't until a hundred thousand years ago that a nation called The Federation discovered an Atlantis ruin, finally kickstarting the human race's scientific advancent.

In the hundred thousand years that followed, as more Atlantis ruins were unearthed, human technology skyrocketed to its current level in a remarkably short span of ti. Now, with Lance's ergence, humanity had once again ascended to the throne of the Milky Way’s rulers.

His question was born mostly out of curiosity. In his past life, he had heard many legends about Atlantis; he had assud they were just myths, but it turned out they were grounded in reality. However, what interested him most was whether there were other civilizations even older than Atlantis. Did the lineage truly trace back to the peak of the Desolates?

"You an Atlantis? Now, that is an interesting one," Glacia replied.

Lance paused. What did she an by "interesting"?

"Word is, the Atlantis civilization was a race that split off from sothing called The Primordial Kin. These 'Primordial Kin' looked almost identical to the Desolates. However, there was one major difference: The Primordial Kin were not birthed by the natural order of heaven and earth. They were a civilization created by The Machina—in fact, the only race The Machina ever created."

"There were many powerhouses within that civilization. It’s said they had seven Supre Divinities! But to this day, no one knows why The Machina created such a race. So speculate they were designed specifically to counter the Desolates, since the two races are virtually indistinguishable."

Glacia shared everything she knew. To be honest, her knowledge was limited; even at her peak, she had only been an 11th-tier Domain Lord Class powerhouse. Most of this was just hearsay she had picked up over the years, but for Lance, it was more than enough.

"So, if that's the case... the humans of the Milky Way are actually descendants of these Primordial Kin?"

Lance was perplexed. The Primordial Kin and the Desolates... wasn't that just "The Primordial"? Did this have anything to do with the "Primordial Era" ntioned in those old novels? Or was it just that humanity had adapted these subconscious ancestral mories into legends?

"Yes. If the humans of the Milky Way are indeed the descendants of Atlantis, then you are almost certainly the progeny of the Primordial Kin," Glacia nodded and confird.

Lance’s eyes flickered. He had learned sothing new, yet it felt as though he were no closer to the full truth.

"Let’s leave it at that for now. Once the pills arrive, I’ll have them delivered directly to you. By the way, the Universal Genius Competition starts the day after tomorrow. You and Selina should probably give it a try."

Having finished his inquiry, Lance prepared to leave. After bidding Glacia and her companion farewell, he tore through the surrounding space and vanished instantly.

Void Power allowed him to walk freely through the void. While it couldn't cover vast distances as quickly as Teleportation Force or Teleportation Power, it allowed him to rge into the void in an instant. Once activated, this move rendered him immune to almost all forms of damage. To actually shatter the space around him, an opponent would need to be at least a powerful Realm Lord. Void Power was arguably the ultimate survival technique.

If he ever faced soone stronger than a Realm Lord, he could simply retreat into the deeper layers of space. The universe's spatial structure wasn't just a single layer. The first layer only required the destructive force of the Realm Lord Realm to break. The second layer of the spatial barrier required a super-power at the God-King realm to shatter. For every layer deeper one went, the strength required increased by an entire major realm.

As for whether there were more than three or four layers, Lance didn't know yet.

Buzz!

Following a ripple in the air, Lance’s figure materialized inside his training room. He called up his status panel.
