"I don’t have a choice now, do I?" Eli muttered, already knowing the answer.

The screen hovering in front of him remained unmoved.

No reaction. No flicker of emotion. No pity.

Just that sa blinking cursor, pulsing with infinite patience—like it could wait for eternity if it had to.

Eli crossed his arms, exhaling sharply through his nose as he glared at the glowing display.

"Fine. Since it’s either do it or die," he grumbled, "then fine. I’ll do the damn challenge."

He didn’t want to die.

Not again.

And clearly, the system had no interest in negotiation or compromise. There were no second options, no alternate paths. Just a demand disguised as a choice.

He had to get back to his body—whatever the hell it took.

Ding.

[SYSTEM RESPONSE]

Challenge Accepted.

> Congratulations, Player.

Before Eli could react, pain shot through his right palm.

"Ah—what the hell?!"

It was like a brand—hot, sharp, and searing through skin and bone. He clutched his hand and watched in alarm as a glowing sigil carved itself into his flesh, pulsing faintly with radiant light.

It shimred blue against his skin, only visible when the light hit just right.

"What the fuck is this?"

Ding.

[SYSTEM SSAGE]Soul

Binding Initialized.

> It will remain visible only to you.

Eli narrowed his eyes, still rubbing his now-throbbing palm.

"Functionality? So it does sothing later?"

He tilted his head. That was... potentially useful.

"Can I at least know what it does? Even just the basics?"

Ding.

[SYSTEM RESPONSE]

Eli groaned. "Information locked? Of course it is."

He dropped his hand into his lap, sighing deeply.

"Okay. Then just tell everything you can. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to do it? You threw into a stranger’s body, gave a suicide mission, and now I’m just supposed to... wing it?"

Ding.

Eli stared, expression unreadable.

’This is just like a dating sim, isn’t it?’

He leaned back against the pillows, staring up at the ceiling.

"Alright, so say I accept that this is real. How do I even get close to them? They’re the most powerful hunters in Korenea. And they’re from rival guilds, no less."

Ding.

[SYSTEM RESPONSE]

>That will depend on the capabilities and reputation of your current vessel:

Elione Noa Ahn

Eli blinked. "...Right. This body."

He looked down at himself, studying the unfamiliar fra. Still a little leaner than his original body—palms narrower, fingers longer. Skin unnaturally smooth.

"This guy’s a B-Class, right? I’m assuming he’s a hunter?"

’If he was, I’ve never even heard of him. I know almost every famous hunters from C-Class to S-Class.’ Eli thought, waiting for the system’s response.

Ding.

[SYSTEM PROMPT]

Open Player Data: Elione Noa Ahn

❏ YES

❏ NO

"Obviously yes."

Ding.

[PLAYER PROFILE — ACTIVE VESSEL]

Na: Elione Noa Ahn

1

Age: 20

Rank: B-Class (Unlicensed)

Body Status: Stable (forrly comatose)

Current Occupation:

– Hunter’s Association On-Call Hunter (Freelancer)

– Beauty Vlogger / Online Influencer

Eli blinked.

"On-call hunter?" He tilted his head. "Can B-Classes even do that? I thought only S-Classes were allowed to operate independently."

That ant Elione’s skills must be useful—or at least unique enough to grant him exceptions.

And then—

"Wait. Beauty vlogger?"

Eli stared at the text, then slowly looked toward the flower jar sitting beside the bed. He could see a vague reflection of his black hair and golden eyes.

"How attractive is this guy?"

He hadn’t actually seen his full face yet—not clearly, anyway. No mirrors, no photos, nothing. Just fragnts.

And if this body really was a vlogger, then... well.

He was probably hot.

Which could explain how the system expected him to seduce people out of nowhere.

Still, he had his doubts.

Mostly on his own skills to ’seduce.’

"So... what are his abilities?" Eli muttered, brows furrowing as he tilted his head toward the system.

Ding.

[ABILITY PROFILE – ELIONE NOA AHN]

Primary Ability: Danger Detection

> Automatically alerts the user of incoming danger within a limited radius.

> With high focus, includes: direction, distance, intensity, and potential source.

> Prolonged use may result in dizziness, migraines, or ntal fog.

Eli’s eyes widened. "Damn."

That was actually good. Really good. Borderline busted, even.

"No wonder the Hunter’s Association freelances him. If it weren’t for the ntal side effects, this could easily be an A-Class—hell, maybe even S-Class—ability."

He looked down at his current arms. Pale, slender. No muscle definition.

"...Though I guess the tradeoff is he probably can’t fight for shit."

Support role, then. A glorified walking radar.

Still. Eli could see why they’d keep soone like Elione on call. Soone who could predict danger before it even struck? That could make or break a raid.

Ding.

Eli blinked and looked up. "Social reputation database?"

[SOCIAL REPUTATION DATABASE – ELIONE NOA AHN]

❏ Online Presence:

– Known for: beauty content, skincare reviews, effortless visuals

– Dual reputation: "Too pretty to be real" and "low-key suspicious"

– Current follower count: 326,000 (steady growth)

❏ Public Opinion:

– "He looks like he’s glowing all the ti."

– "I want to wife him up and I’m a woman!"

– "Soft boy aesthetic... with combat boots? Iconic."

Eli blinked as the screen transitioned to a gallery of Elione’s public photos.

His jaw dropped.

"...Holy shit."

Even he had to admit it.

Elione was gorgeous.

Long lashes. Clear skin. Pale, delicate features. Lush black hair that fell slightly past his nape. And those strange, glowing golden eyes... They were the kind you didn’t just look at—you rembered them.

It was the kind of beauty that stopped people mid-sentence. Feminine, ethereal. The kind of face that looked Photoshopped even in real life.

Eli leaned back against the pillow, stunned. "Is this seriously now...?"

He let out a breath, half in disbelief, half in reluctant awe.

"Looking past the identity theft and spiritual hijacking... this is kind of an upgrade."

His lips twitched into a dry, humorless smile.

Lucien Kim—his original body—had been painfully average.

E-Class. Forgotten. The type of guy people passed on the street without a second glance. And in Korenea? Where beauty was practically currency?

Forget it.

Not only was he gay, but he wasn’t even good-looking enough to be the type that could pretend to blend in. He was forgettable in every way.

But now?

Now he was inhabiting the body of an ethereal, cara-ready B-Class hunter-slash-vlogger with a cult following. A man who was both internet famous and officially ranked.

Still... the price of admission was literally everything.

"...And now I’m stuck pretending to be him," Eli muttered, pressing a palm to his temple. "Stealing soone’s life so I can earn points to maybe get my old one back."

Ding.

[SYSTEM SSAGE]

Profile review complete.

> First task begins: Tomorrow.

Until then, please focus on:

– Reviewing recent news

– Studying current events and guild movents

– Researching target activity

Eli squinted at the screen, muttering, "Preparation increases execution success rate. Yeah, no pressure at all. That’s not ominous."

He looked up. "Why do I need to watch the news? Can’t you—?"

The screen vanished.

Just like that.

Gone.

Conversation over.

Eli slumped back into the bed with a loud sigh. "God, you’re worse than my old professors."

So the first mission was tomorrow—and he wasn’t even discharged yet. That didn’t make any sense. Was he expected to sneak out in a hospital gown?

’Or flirt with a top-ranked S-Class hunter while hooked up to an IV?’

How sexy.

’At least I don’t need to worry about dying anymore,’ Eli thought, trying to look on the bright side. ’I just need to seduce two impossibly powerful, emotionally unavailable n who would probably kill if I breathed wrong around them.’

That won’t happen, right?

Hunters kill monsters, not other hunters.

So, he’ll probably be okay to try.

He stared blankly at the ceiling then sighed.

’...Why do I feel like I just jinxed myself again?’
