After receiving the mory, Snowy beca lost in thought, ruminating on all the information she had gathered up to this point to better understand the bigger picture.
A sudden epiphany hit her like a ton of brick.
"The old man he... he is the Jade Emperor?!" Snowy stared at Alchemy Goddess with shock in her eyes and couldn't help but gasped when she saw Alchemy Goddess nodded, confirming her conjecture. "But, he looks nothing like he used to."
"He was in horrible shape when he was exiled, and his cultivation may have suffered as a result. And maybe, it's his way to sever his connection to the world."
In Snowy's record, Jade Emperor was pictured as a charismatic leader with the appearance of a young man so handso that many goddesses and fairy fell for him at first sight.
The old man didn't resemble him at the slightest.
But, Snowy didn't doubt that Alchemy Goddess had told her the truth.
If the old guy were the forr king of Heavenly Plane, Jade Emperor, the unfathomable and charismatic aura she sensed that day would be easily justified.
His fondness of Feng Xue, who has a divine beast bloodline that ran through her body, was also reasonable. He might felt a bit nostalgic when he saw the shadow of Divine Phoenix in Feng Xue.
The only thing that she couldn't put her finger on was...
"What was your relationship with him? When he glanced at the cauldron, he appeared to be very sorrowful, yet there was also a hint of affection in his gaze" asked Snowy curiously.
Alchemy Goddess blushed slightly as she gazed toward the distant sky, seed to be lost in her rembrance.
Shortly, she looked back at Snowy and breathed a helpless sigh.
"He tried to court multiple tis, but I couldn't accept his affection because I already had soone in my heart. He and I weren't intended to be together in the first place. He knew I wouldn't make a compromise, so he chose to respect my decision and take a step back. That is why I consider him to be one of the individuals I can trust. So, as my death drew near, I entrusted Little Cauldron to him."
"I never know that you had a crush on soone. He must be very incredible that you even refused Jade Emperor for him. I'm curious."
"Uuuh" When Snowy teased the Alchemy Goddess, she groaned and blushed even more. Her look, however, abruptly changed to one of sadness. "It all in the past. I don't have any opportunity to see that person again. Just let it go."
"Tian'er"
Snowy was at a loss for words as reality reminded her that The Alchemist Goddess, Hong Tian, was no longer in this world.
Hong Tian remained silent as well. She just sat quietly and enjoyed the rest of their ti together.
"Oops, it seems my ti is up," said Hong Tian assud her cheerful look back. And then she warned Snowy with a serious tone, "Be careful of Heavenly Court. Their influence had already secretly encroached the mortal plane, especially in the central part. They had begun to ignore the old covenant that we Heaven Plane dweller shouldn't involve in Mortal Plane's power struggle. They seed rather ambitious."
At this point, Snowy had been sure that the case of her previous host had sothing to do with her existence.
It was possible that her previous host was killed and chased not for their own sake but because the enemy was looking for the System.
And sohow, her enemy had a way to track whoever bound to her. Snowy made a ntal note to look for a solution to this threat as soon as possible.
She didn't want to implicate anyone close to her, especially Feng Xue and Feng Family, and put them in danger.
"Goodbye, my friend. I'm already content to be able to talk with you, even only for a short ti," muttered Hong Tian with a gentle smile.
"Tian'er"
Snowy couldn't control her emotion, and the dam, which had been trying to keep her tears from bursting out, eventually collapsed.
"Here my last present. I hope it will provide so help for you."
With that, Hong Tian's figure burst into light and entered Snowy's body.

Snowy didn't seem interested in the notification that appeared in her mind at the mont.
She didn't bother to wipe the gushing tears on her cheek, either.
"One day, when I'm strong enough, I promise I'll visit the Nether Plane to check on your soul and find your reincarnation. We will et again soday, Tian'er. Just sleep in peace for now."
Her fist clenched hard, and her eyes turn icy cold, "And I'll make everybody, who force you to et your demise, pay. Whoever it is, even it's the heaven itself."
Just after Snowy made her vow, the sky rumbled, and thunderous clouds gathered above the City Lord's Mansion.
Snowy glared at the darkened sky with a gaze filled with determination. Even if heaven wanted to punish her for making such an audacious vow, she wouldn't flinch.
Fortunately, it was just a false alarm since the cloud dispersed as quickly as they gathered.
Snowy just snorted when she saw the sky cleared up once again and returned to her room waiting for Feng Xue, not to forget, the troublemaker Rong Hua.
