Looking around what was new, Evan found a few things.
First, he realized that the can summon the translucent panel after saying the word ’status’, but verbally only. It took a lot of back and forth with Iva the sli before they got that to work.

There are lot of blanks in the panel, but Evan thinks that he could probably find more on how he’s going to improve it in the upcoming days.
The most concerning part was the Mana Points. It completely said zero.
It ant that the machines that he was scanned were accurate to let him know that his reserves really was Category Z.
To have sothing else confirm that he really had none was disheartening. But he knew that he’ll find a way to improve himself one step at a ti.
It’ll take so much ti but he knew it’ll be worth it.
He has been laying down on his bed for a while before finding out more things about the panel.
"This ability is uniquely yours now. I can’t help unless you unsummon and I study what’s new." Was what Iva told him earlier.
At least Iva wanted to learn just as much as Evan did, so he did unsummon Iva. He will miss Iva the sli but this was for the best.
Iva has been silent so Evan took so things to his own hands. He could hold an object in his hand and say ’item’ and the object will disappear in his hand. It will then appear as a smaller version on his panel. He managed to work that out with trying out random words and holding out a glass.
He thinks it’ll work, especially since his panel ntioned of items.
The title was self-explanatory. He has no idea how to remove it but he technically is a farr. The percentage is pretty high though, maybe he should go harvest the corn field with his dad once it was harvest season. He could probably help in that regard.
And finally, the abilities. For so reason, he can feel like he can summon Iva without the use of mana. He thought summoning usually used up a lot of mana but for him, it doesn’t.
He did try to summon Iva and he got a "Leave alone. Busy!" reply almost imdiately, so he cancelled his summon.
The one he wanted to try the most was Void. The problem was that he needed 1 mana point to do it, which Evan does not have. He has no way of using it, nor has he found a way to raise his MP yet. How will he’ll do it? He’s going to find out how soon, he hoped.
It was already late in the afternoon when his parents arrived. Evan didn’t even realized the ti. He was busy experinting with the abilities he now has and how to use them efficiently or even in a hidden way so anyone around him stays ignorant of what he can do, for now at least.
Soon, dinner ti is done with the dishes washed. Evan watches as his mom makes the jam.
"I went to Xertle City with Terrien today." Erwin says, as he helped with the jam making process. "There are already a lot of nobles from other villages or smaller cities that are staying closer there."
"It’s probably for the first batch of the entrance exams." Sylvia replies. "Speaking of which, I passed the requirents a while ago."
Evan hums. "Oh. Thank you mom." He grins. He knew that she was skeptical of him trying to ge to Stardust Academy but this was just a trial.
He knew that there’s no guarantee that he could get in either. But he’ll get the schedule in a few more days of wait. He knew he had to try and polish on the skills he does have.
He still has those other numbers he hasn’t explored yet. Maybe he can find a way to train those?
"Are you ready for the entrance exams? I already sent the requirents but you can still back out. Your father and I won’t hold it against you." Sylvia says, her smile warm and understanding.
Evan understood that she ans well. But if there is anything that he knew he got from their parents, it’s their stubborn will to live. And Evan will use that to bring his parents with him in his success. He wants them to live a life that they deserved.
"I’m not entirely ready yet but I will be on the day." Evan replies, nodding his head. "I know I will be."
Erwin ruffles his son’s head, making a ss of his hair yet again. "That’s my son! You’re as stubborn as your old man! Well, we’re both here if you need help. Just let us know what you need."
Evan hums before an idea cos to mind. "Dad, can you teach that breathing technique thing you did to help replenish mana?"
"Breathing tech- Oh! You an that ditation?" Erwin chuckles and hums. "Yeah, I can teach you that. That’s not really for mana, I just use that to help replenish mine quicker since I drain my mana if I’m too impatient."
Sylvia sighs at that. "I rember that. Your late grandma, my mom, told Erwin that if he can’t learn to manage his anger, she’s not letting us marry." She has a faint smile in rembering the past.
Erwin cleared his throat. "Anyway, if you really want to learn about ditation, I’ll teach you. Let’s go-"
There is a small glare from Sylvia that made him pause. "Well, after you’re finished watching your mom finish the jam, then, we’ll go."
Evan looks at them both and laughed. He knew he’s going to make his dream for his parents co true, if it ans he can see them this happy. No matter what it takes.
