The golden light shone out of the System Page and shone onto Lu Chen’s body in the real world. Bathing him in the golden light, Lu Chen felt a special warm energy flow into his body.
Sadly, the golden light was quick to disappear and the comfortable sensation also disappeared with it.
But when the golden light faltered, Lu Chen felt his body in a much better condition. His strength also increased.
Lu Chen couldn’t help but start thinking more into it.
It seems like leveling up does not just change the numbers in the System Page but actually affects my body in the real world.

During the developnt of the ga, Lu Chen and his gaming studio decided that the way to obtain the skills was to let the system randomly draw one for the players from the skill bank. The rationale being that they would earn more from the players.
Like all other things, there were good and bad skills in the skill bank, and everyone would only want the best skills. But what if the players drew a weak skill that they didn’t like? They could then purchase the in-ga currency, Spirit Orbs, to get another chance to draw a new skill.
This was originally Lu Chen’s idea, and his superiors believed that it would be a good way to squeeze out so more profit out of their users. They were even so proud of themselves for coming up with the idea. But now, in retrospect, Lu Chen only felt like slapping himself to death.
As it stands now, there is no way I am able to top up any amount into the system. My only hope now is luck itself. Please let draw a good skill. Otherwise, it’ll be a problem for my class specialization.
Lu Chen’s mobile ga didn’t allow a change of class automatically. In order to specialize in a class, the players would have to go through and complete a specialization trial quest before raising their levels and advancing into a new rank.
And the bosses of all the quests were set to be formidable foes that were stronger than the players. Once again, the reason to do so was to lure the players to top up and upgrade their characters so that they could easily complete the quests.
Now, however, these sneaky tricks were all coming back to bite Lu Chen in the ass.
Fortunately, seeing the [Bull’s Strength] appearing in the skill bar proves that I can also learn the skills in this world. Even if I got dealt a weak skill, I can still rely on the knowledge and skills of this world to strengthen myself and eventually complete the system’s trial quest.
